I think management needs to step up and put more than one fella on the floor. I almost felt worse for him than the 6 bored customers waiting in anticipation for the drive through customers to be served.
Haha apparently the other worker had to "let his dog out" & that was the reason why I should be "a little patient"Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 44412771394Oct 25, 2015
The hubs and I came in to basically kill some time until we got together with some friends. My favorite part of our experience was listening to the banter of the barista with his customers. He was great and you could tell he has regulars. This is what I love about small towns.
I got an English breakfast tea which requires next to nothing to prepare; just a little hot water. The hubs got a latte which showed off the skill of the barista. He really enjoyed it. We sipped our drinks for about an hour while reading. It was a fantastic Sunday morning moment.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 8, 2007First to Review
Great coffee and great friendly service.
Hub of activity in Louisville...Jenny always knows what's going on in town.
Important item during events such as Taste of Louisville: clean, accessible restrooms located here...
The barista's here take pride in an artfully executed espresso drink.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - J K.Lafayette, CO032Mar 17, 2019
Jen and her staff have always been great. Have gone there for over 15 years. I'd say to those few who complained about the service: I'm pretty sure it's you, not them.

Fantastic soy latte. The shop itself isn't very fancy, as it's located downstairs of an office (?) building but I highly recommend stopping here if you find yourself in downtown Louisville and needing a warm drink.
Pumpkin bread was very good too.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Emma W.Claremont, CA10210426Sep 15, 2011
My favorite coffee place in the world.
I have probably been here 10,000 times and there has been one time that I got a bad drink which was taken care of right away.
The drinks are always amazing, the coffee, the steamers, the Italian sodas, everything. But don't forget to try the food too! My favorite was always the chocolate croissants, best one I have ever had was at Vic's.
The atmosphere is pretty cool, feels calm and perfect for a coffee shop.
The service here is the best around, I always feel welcomed by all the employees when I come in, especially Jenny. I don't think I have ever seen a person smile so much!
The prices are great and it's definitely a great place to go anytime.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kevin P.Louisville, CO3196Nov 12, 2017
Vic's is a nice coffee shop!! The location is perfect, the atmosphere is laid back and the service is fantastic. All the baristas are incredibly helpful and the manager, Jenny, is the very best. There is also plenty of outside seating for those gorgeous Louisville, Colorado mornings. I also like that Vic's opens at 6:00 am Monday through Saturday (7:00 am on Sunday). Their wifi works well, and they have a good selection of local & national newspapers. They also have some pretty good pastries.

Excellent espresso. Expertly prepared Cortado. Really good coffee. Not what I expected from a small coffee shop in the quaint Louisville downtown, but really want to go back now.

I thought I'd give Vic's another shot, but today's latte was gritty with grounds and bubbly (like the "pretty bad foam" picture). I hope Good Measure finishes their renovations soon. Maybe it's better to save Vic's for a black coffee or pastry kind of day - they have lots of tempting sweets in the case.

Of course, I had to make that the word of the day. Apparently it's German for "snail" - picture attached to the business...
The latté came out a little bubbly for my tastes. As in big bubbles, not the smooth microfoam that was the point of the quest. Maybe a little more time surfing the steam wand would slow the line, but produce a more awesome drink. Anyway, the shop is really cute, and the pastry was to die for. If I lived in Louisville, I'd be here all the time. Now if we could just get a great drink over in Lafayette...
