Dark, dim and small. It's hard to like a place like Vice in the city of Fort Worth. It's underground and dingy, tables surrounding the dance floor that cost more than they ought to. The music is hit or miss - although I do like that they play mostly EDM at the beginning of the night, and switch over to hip hop and other sounds towards the end of the night. It's a trying night club, I'll be back because there are no other clubs in this town.

Take this review with a grain of salt. I went for my first time on a Sunday (due only to the Memorial Day holiday; I don't go out on Sundays otherwise)- so I don't know how similar my experience was to a "typical" Friday or Saturday.
I'll say up front the things I didn't like about the place are things people who LOVE places like this will seek out. This is the kind of place that is either definitely for you or definitely not.
If you enjoy the ambiance of young girls "dancing" on all fours on the floor- you will love this place.
If you love a place where you can't sit down on the couches without paying for VIP upgrade/bottle service- you will love this place.
If you love a place with GREAT music (which here was a mix of hip hop and Latin)- you will love this place.
If you love a place filled with a younger crowd- you will love this place.
If you love a place with a cool vibe, modern decor and lots of character to the design- you will love this place.
I will definitely go back again....but I know that I may not like it once it's jam packed with SOME of what I saw on the quiet, 1/4 filled Sunday night I first went there. The music was great but there are tons of other places with great music so that alone wouldn't be enough for me personally to override the other elements of the place I didn't love.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lex W.Fort Worth, TX3343511667Sep 10, 2017
Visited vice nightclub to celebrate some birthdays. The bouncer was really nice and gave us a discounted rate to enter because we'd missed free cover.
When you enter, you go down the stairs into a basement/lounge type area. There is no seating unless you buy bottle service. The dance floor is a small but reasonable size. We visited on a Saturday night and the crowd got really busy starting after midnight. The crowd is more of a young 20s to maybe early 30s crowd. We visited because we saw online that mostly Latin music was played on Saturdays with a mix of top 40. However, the night that we visited, we heard Latin music while waiting in line to enter and then when we got into the club, pretty much all that was played was top 40 with a heavy leaning towards hip hop, trap music and rap. The music was good , but it took a while for them to finally play some Latin music and when they did they only played a few songs. I asked two DJs if I could submit a request for a song-both said yes and said they would play the song and then never played it. :-/
Bathrooms are in good shape and there are two bars. The club does allow smoking so just be aware of that.
One of the perks of visiting is that if you check in on yelp you can get a free shot- ours were very yummy.
Overall not a bad place to visit for a night of dancing. I would visit again. Go early to take advantage of free cover (otherwise it's $10 a person after 11 pm on Saturday). Also, there's free parking in the parking garage on Taylor Street ( behind Studio Eighty).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nyjah J.Houston, TX626627Nov 14, 2015
There is no one here and it's 11:30. Three stars because the drinks are only 3.50 till 11 and if you check in on Yelp you get a free shot. You can get a nice buzz started and then go somewhere else.

Thank you for your review.
I'm sorry for it being slow tonight.
There is a currently a UFC fight going on and the crowd will come out after it is over.
We have Hennessy on site giving out free shots near the front.
We always try to make the best party experience but some things are out of our control.
I hope you can stay and enjoy the fight after party. - Janice S.Richardson, TX1243812Mar 17, 2015
I liked the atmosphere. And the location was cool...down stairs...old fashioned kind of way.
Great bar staff. Good drinks and quick on clean-up.
LOVE the spread with all the couches. Very comfy. Easy to relax and people watch and enjoy the music and vibes.
Would love to go back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brent G.Rowlett, TX188161Feb 6, 2011
Being from So Cal, I often miss the night clubs where the constant bombardment of stupidity reigns like Ed Hardy shirts are the new currency!
I was feeling a bit blue, missing LA when my friend said "Hey, there is this club that opened up where the drinks are overpriced, the chicks are Meh... but they act like they are F**k yeah, and they have bottle service where velvet ropes keep the people buying bottle service thinking that they are better than the unwashed masses"
I said "Is this Aladin, because I was just granted my first wish"
My second wish was that they would play terrible music at an abnormally loud volume. You can imagine my giddiness when my wish was granted!
For my last and final wish, I wished for a huge girl in an undersized dress to start crap with me for not making out with her ugly friend. To my surprise, I was granted this wish as well.
Thank you Vice, for making this young man's dreams come trueHelpful 9Thanks 0Love this 31Oh no 0 - Craig P.Arlington, TX1642Aug 25, 2014
The music is loud. It thumps. Makes me want to dance. Mission accomplished!
So the best jams aren't always rockin but DJ's are people too, alright?
So the lighting effects aren't too notch but get over it Pretty People.
You have to try a bit but rock this joint. Thump it. It's 60 degrees inside while it's 80 and muggy at midnight outside. It's underground and the bar staff are chill and serve up some creative concoctions.
Bring your sweet lady, you know, the unpretentious yet fine one, on this occasion. You know, the lady who looks into your eyes and is ready for a good night grinding it out together. Make your own fluff and magic. This place has the goods. Not the greats, but the goods. And that's goods enough for this dancer.
Edit 12/14- The joint has been bought out by some crazy dude and now it's more hip-hop gangsta. But I still stand by what I said but you can bring any ho now.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Mary N.Fremont, CA34105Feb 1, 2010First to Review
I wish I could give this place negative stars. Four thumbs down.
For a place that charges full bottle service prices, I expect not to have to dodge vomit. No such luck at vice. The music was bland top 40/hip hop, the crowd ranged from frat boys to 40 year old women wearing Ed hardy.
I saw our waitress 3 times.
And the bathrooms. Oh lord, the bathrooms. Gross does not begin to describe. I don't mind saying I've been to frat parties with cleaner bathrooms and shorter lines.
I usually enjoy going out in fort worth as a change of pace but this was horrible. Overcrowded, super unfriendly crowd, bad service. No thanks.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Raven M.Las Vegas, NV327376129Mar 4, 2013
we went last saturday. It was... different.
Foreword: i just moved here from Las Vegas, so yeah... i might be used to more upscale and real Nightclubs with a dress code (sneakers, hats etc) and sound system/lighting, clientel etc.
Ayways, for a place in Ft worth its not THAT bad, the sound is bad though (again i worked for Tao group opening the Marquee so I guess I am spoiled) the light is typical 70ies disco you can find in europe too lol
The clientel is.. different. From people in suits to hoebags in dresses and/or jeans with sneakers, doesnt matter I guess. you can even sport your full sleeve tattoos with a sportscap, weird but ok
The doorguy was really handsome though, and really nice. No problems there.
The prices are about $16 for two mixed drinks, nothing bad, considering I am used to paying $16 for ONE drink :)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Sheena L.Suffolk, VA246106Jul 15, 2017
Maybe we came on a bad night but we have been to better clubs in third world countries that were better than this. Club should have been free to get in instead of a cover.
