Ventano Italian Grill & Seafood

First off - Our server Efren was so good I'm sitting in the restaurant writing this so I don't forget his name - cause you know - 40something stuff. Anyway not only was he perfectly efficient, gave stellar recommendations and when we had a teenie boo boo on the food delivery which was immediately fixed. The restaurant has THE BEST view of Vegas around. Panoramic patio will be reason #3 that I come back when the weather is good.
The restaurant acoustics are shockingly good. I was worried when I saw the high ceilings and wall to wall windows but there wasn't a moment I had a hard time hearing the family talking.
Must gets: Antipasta appetizer (chefs kiss) shrimp scampi that puts any San Fran restaurant to shame and the lasagna. I enjoyed the Ventano Spiedini as well but would take the chicken parmigiana over that. Either way you won't be disappointed. A++++, 5 stars all day Oh how did I forget the best crime brûlée I've had in my 40 something something something life

I'm very sorry to say that last Wednesday was my last visit to Ventano!

We have a group of six that dines out once or twice per week and we've been to Ventano often, but not for a number of months. When we arrive and we're seated, we noticed that the menu choices had shrunk and the prices for what was left had increased. Not terribly surprising these days, so we weren't too bothered by that. What did bother us, however, was the notices on the bottom of the menu!

* 3.5% service charge on credit cards

Needless to say, we weren't notified of any of this when we made our reservation, so we got up and left.

This wasn't our first rodeo with Ventano's and won't be our last either!

As a longtime patron, we always have a fantastic dining experience at Ventano's. The food is exceptional. There's always a great vibe, and the service is always top-notch, especially with CARLOS as your server. We will continue to enjoy our dining experiences at Ventano's over and over!

They have a nice selection of wine and the staff is always friendly. Been here a couple of times and have enjoyed the food.

They also have a nice size private room in back for private parties.

I ate here last week for the first time with my wife and SIL. I was expecting this place to be better after reading the good reviews, but I was disappointed. The first thing that turned me off was on the front of the menu it states that a 3.5% fee will be added to the bill when using a card to pay. I assumed that a debit card would be the exception. Wrong. I have seen credit card fees before but never a debit card fee. The food was not cheap either, and was mediocre. I had the lasagna and definitely would not recommend that. My wife and SIL had seafood pasta and said it was okay, but nothing special. We also had an appetizer that was also just okay. I will say the service was very good. The staff were all friendly and attentive. But, between the food and that extra fee I don't think I will be going back here.

Amazing servers! They were on top of everything. Veal Parmesan was great, but took a LONG time to come out. I ordered the shrimp on a stone. Tons of baby shrimp cooked perfectly with 2 sauces. I liked the horseradish sauce. The other one was too sweet. Ordered the Caprese salad. The tomatoes were so unripe they were crunchy. I mentioned it to our server and they took it off the bill. We didn't order dessert, but mentioned it was our 43rd anniversary. They brought us a Tiramisu gratis. Hubby said it was great. I don't like coffee

Okay let's talk about Catering/Large To Go Orders! We called for some food to feed about 25 people. They ROCKED IT
As soon as I got to the restaurant,which was filling up,I was greeted and assisted professionally! My order was ready! It was hot and fresh and they helped me carry it out to the car! It was inventoried and explained. There was plenty of extra condiments like butter, sauce,dressing and cheese!

Fresh Vegetables
Caesar Salad
Garlic Bread and
Bruschetta
The aroma was enticing! Every single person was excited to eat, and they all raved about the food! There was more than enough!
I would definitely recommend these guys for your next event!

Another great dining experience at Ventanos!
if you've never had grilled romaine Caesar salad with prosciutto then you are truly missing out on a flavorful dish. The chicken franchise with sautéed spinach was spot on the service. Can't be beat. I love my favorite neighborhood restaurant.

I had my 60th birthday there and it was awesome! Mike and his team were incredible. He made it so easy to arrange this dinner party. The food was amazing! The room was beautifully set up and it was a seamless evening so everyone could relax and enjoy.
