This restaurant has gone through so much. After several years of sub-par food and even more lacking service, I was about to give up all hope of ever having a decent Korean experience in Little Rock until now.

I LOVE the food they have now. I try my best to drag my boyfriend to this place whenever I can. When he went for his first time, he had a terrible experience (mid 2015) so he gets hesitant whenever I bring it up. But we've been here twice now since 2017 started and both of our expectations have been exceeded.

I can personally vouch for their Jjampong, Jajangmyeong, Soondobu, and Yukgaejang (special from their white board). All are delicious. I've tried the Kalbi from picking off people's plate and that's pretty good too. Also, their serving sizes are bigger than expected, so be ready to take a to-go box home.

I feel like this place has a lot of history to make up for, but they're on the right track! We'll be back soon :)

Viet food made by Koreans. Had pho, spring rolls, thai iced coffee. The taste was all off. Epic fail!

I had the most amazing spring rolls here. I came here for their Pho', but fell more in love with the spring rolls.

The rolls were light and crispy with a "to die for filling".

The Pho' was about a 7 on a scale from 1-10. The reason I didn't rate it hire is they served it in a plastic bowl instead of a hot lava stone bowl. It just missed the mark with not being in the bowl.

They really need to invest in fixing up the place some. I almost left when I walked in the door because it was so out dated (bad outdated). Glad I stayed to enjoy some great rolls!

Whoever wrote the word "pretty full menu" and "fantastic food" is clearly clueless.

I went there with another friend who left just as, if not more dissatisfied. This place is too expensive for the quality and the quantity of food they serve. I've tried the pho, kalbi and bulgogi and they are not generous with the quantity (compared to the price of other Asian places).

I understand we don't have many Asian restaurants here and hiking up the price may somewhat be justified. However, this place just isn't worth it because: 1) the pho broth isn't good; 2) many entrees cost more than $15; 3) extra noodles cost a whopping $2; and 4) service is mediocre at best.

I do not recommend this restaurant, unless they drastically up the food quality, lower the price, or unless you decide to go there by convenience.

So, Little Rock to date has 3 places with Pho.

I favor Van Lang's pho over the others because of their broth and full flavor.

With that said.. their pho is sometimes awesome, and sometimes fail. Broth remains the same.

Very inconsistent with the amount of meat they serve in the pho.

The coconut drink isn't fresh, but passable.

Their sandwiches are terrible for being worth over $4.

Spring roll sauce is ick, spring rolls are decent.

First off... I had to wait at least 30 minutes before they would take our orders. On a Sunday afternoon . One worker and I was craving pho real bad...
Second off .. Don't plan on getting the Thai ice tea... It was really .. Really.. Watered down. . I was going to get more food but I knew I wouldn't be able to eat anymore so I just got a large pho.. With everything in it ...think it was b6 ... pho was 4/5 but I was so hungry it didn't matter at the time... It was surpising when I realized all the workers were Korean. Made me chuckle. But yea overall is 3/5 if you want just pho I'd recommend it. Haven't tries the rice plates so you're on your own there.. Pho was about 7-9 $ pretty expensive IMO

Little Rock doesn't have a lot of pho options. The food is a bit pricey, but it is served fast, and fresh.

Stick with the basics, and you'll be happy.

Ever since Chi's stopped doing the Korean food, I'd been looking for ANYWHERE to get my Bibimbop fix filled. Went in for Pho, which I knew would be good (though I grew up in Little Saigon in Houston, so, like another reviewer said, there is better, just not in LR.), and discovered they'd switched to Korean ownership and had a pretty full Korean menu.

Fantastic Korean food and very legit, though it was a little on the mild side. After working in Korea for 2 years, I kind of expect to leave sweating from the chilis, but that being said, the flavor was fantastic, and taking into consideration the fact that real Korean vegetables aren't really all that easy to come by here, it was incredible.

My only complaints are that I wish they had a few more options on the Kimchi types and that they hadn't overcooked the egg on the Bibimbop.

Other than that, Absolutely fantastic meal and I'll be back again!

Of the places to order Pho in LR, this is prob lowest on the list, which is sad considering this used to be #1. Dare I say its because of the change in management over the years?

Either way, considering it is now the closest place apart from WLR to get Pho, i go there only for convenience. Its not bad, but its not the greatest either.

Keep on mind this store is no longer belong to Vietnamese. It owns by Korean now. So don't expecting to much what call Vietnamese dishes.
Second, the restaurant is gross. I don't care what it is, but the owner kids (I guess) was there. Coloring and screaming. Do not recommend this restaurant for neither Vietnamese or Korean foods. :(
