DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! one of the worse experiences we ever had moving. I could honestly say, over 95% of our possessions are ruined and they do not pack anything, they just throw the items in a box or packing tape them together. I have pics of everything they ruined.
Emailed, called and even spoke to them in person and nothing is done or compensated.
I have to say, the crew that came to unload and unpack my home were much better and were considerate. They were appalled at the condition of my furniture and possessions and complained with me.
It's shameful because it is very difficult to find a good moving company, they are all bad, but this company is the worse of all . They are not going to do anything or help fix the damage they have done to all my furniture. There isn't a piece I have that doesn't have a scratch or gash. Van Express provided moving services to me on October 6, 2023. The movers damaged the floors of the home by dragging furniture across rather than lifting. The house is under contract and I had to pay over $1,200 to repair the floors to allow the sale to go through. Van Express declined to provide any payment for the damage, despite the fact that I purchased insurance. Further, the movers put the boxes in the wrong rooms and left over 50 boxes in the garage, including a rug that my daughter and I had to move into the house. I am age 81 and my daughter is disabled. 5 of the 6 movers spoke no English and, therefore, could not read the markings on the boxes, resulting in the boxes being left in the wrong rooms. The final bill was $1,000 over the estimate! It was a terrible experience.
P.S. While Van Express has replied that it has 120 days to resolve a claim, I received an E mail TODAY that denied a claim for any floor damage and stated that I would not be reimbursed for damage, I want the facts to be correct here.

We had a really good experience with moving. They did show up a tad late, but they were very careful with our things and worked super hard and late to get everything set back up. I would definitely use them again.

NOT WORTH IT, FIND A MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY. Movers unintentionally damaged my entryway. Called and provided pictures to manager. Still paid them so the guys could leave, and even tipped them, thinking I was still going to reimbursed for the damages. Insurance refused to cover anything as the movers ended up denying any damage. Several calls and emails to the manager and scam insurance went unresolved. They will wait you out until you just give up. Learned my lesson to not pay anything until the issue gets resolved on the spot.

This company was great! The movers came on time, we're very friendly, yet professional. And they know what they're doing. They work well as a team , are very fast, at the same time, very gentle with our possessions.. we have a 400+ gun safe in our basement , that they moved without difficulty.(maybe some sweating though lol) . The best thing is they store your stuff , so you can go to your new home, clean, paint, annd figure out how where you want to put everything , so it makes move in so much easier. All over a great experience with the company, and David is always available for any questions. And the price is reasonable
