Pros:
- Great alternative to paying for expensive airport parking.
- Website is easy to use and make reservations.
- Close to the airport.
Cons:
- Not really covered parking like advertised. They take your car to an uncovered site and bring your car back to the covered parking garage the day you arrive.
- Rude and unprofessional staff. The drivers handle your car like they are joy-riding stolen cars. I have had this problem twice now, but I'm only counting the times I saw them bring my car in. I have a loud car, so I can hear them coming from a mile away. It's also lowered. They don't slow down for speed bumps or potholes. You know they mistreated your car when it comes back with the alignment off and scratches under your front bumper. If they drive it like this knowing you're watching them, imagine what they do when you're not around. Burnouts? Donuts? I confronted a driver about his professionalism tonight when I heard him revving up my car and driving recklessly pulling into the garage. The coward didn't even acknowledge me and kept walking away.
- They don't come to the self-parking area often. I would park here every time just to avoid having these man-children drive my car, but I don't want to miss a flight over it. I usually get to the airport a few hours early. The last time I parked here, I nearly missed my flight waiting for them to pick me up. I was the last one to board the plane - just as they were shutting the doors.
- They used to gather your flight details and bring your car when you arrived or requested a shuttle to pick you up. I think they plan to bring your car back at the end of your booking. The thing is they make reservations in 24-hour increments. Good if you're flight is delayed and you come back a bit late. Bad if you go the 24-hour mark and have to pay for another day, or if you have to wait for your car since they thought you were arriving the following day.
- They supposedly park at another site 3-ish miles away, but the amount of fuel used says otherwise. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the reading on the odometer, but I would definitely do this next time.
Bottom line: I would use their service again, but only because it's cheap parking. I would come at least an hour sooner than I normally do, so I can use the self-parking lot and wait awhile for them to pick you up.Take detailed photos of your car before AND after, so you can show them any damage that was done to your car. This includes the odometer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Terri H.Irvine Business Complex, Irvine, CA0113Apr 23, 2024
This place SUCKS. They damaged my car when they moved it (hit something which caused a broken wheel and a very low tire when we picked it up at midnight) When we called them, the manager wouldn't talk to us. They told us to email the manager, then gave us a bad email address. We called back to verify, they gave us the same bad email, which we tried again and got nowhere. So my husband called back and demanded the manager come to the phone. They put us on hold and never came back. It cost us $70 to repair the wheel. So if you have money to burn on damage repairs....We're never using them again.

Firstly, when we were checking in our vehicle, the attendant joked that our vehicle might not be there when we returned because they would sell it. Secondly, they got into the vehicle, changed all the settings, and we are not sure if they moved it out of the garage or left it there. Lastly, the pickup shuttle process was confusing; we were instructed to be picked up at Terminal C, but there is no Terminal C at the airport.

I have used this company for years but never again. I recently took a trip and came back and my vehicle was the only vehicle COVERED in mud. I didn't think anything of it. I got a car wash and discovered a scrape across my passenger side door. I called to speak to a manager and was advised to call back between 8am and 1pm. I did just that and was advised the manager wouldn't be in until Monday but I should know that once I leave the lot they are no longer responsible. HOW CONVENIENT TO COVER THE DAMAGE WITH MUD, knowing I wouldn't be able to clean or see any damage until I leave due to it being so late when my flight arrived. I will never use this company again and hope the person that sees this will consider another service. This company has gone downhill. I should have never trusted a company who doesn't care about the restrooms being cleaned or even the windows cleaned. I will never, NEVER use this company again. And I am still waiting on a response from the manager. There was no explanation for my vehicle looking like it was off road. Ridiculous company and no longer worthy of my money. Don't trust them with your vehicle.

I would LOVE to write a Google review!! We chose your service for parking because it offered us the opportunity to have our car ready for us upon our arrival so we would not have to de-ice the car or in this case, DIG IT OUT FROM BASICALLY A BLOCK OF ICE. Our car was not ready for us on our return. Instead we had to DIG IT OUT and wait 30 minutes for it to defrost enough to drive home. On top of that, we waited outside for the pickup van at the airport in minus 20 degree wind chill after being told the van would arrive within 15 minutes. Instead it took 35 minutes for the van to arrive. We will NEVER use Valst Connections again. The parking lot was DANGEROUSLY icy despite the storm being several days ago, and the attendants took a LONG time to find our car key fob because the keys were not in any organized system but instead all lumped together in a pile in the drawer that they had to dig through. I used Valet Connections in the past because I appreciated the car being ready for me to drive home, even in bad weather, and the timely service we received from both the van driver and the attendants on duty at the main location. However, the last three times we have used Valet Connections, when my wife went to use the restroom at the facility, she noticed there was no toilet paper in any of the stalls, and came out to let the people at the desk know about this. She was handed a role of Brown commercial paper towing to use instead of toilet paper, because they didn't have any toilet paper, and the bathrooms were filthy. The service has gotten worse and worse and we are done with it. I will be posting this review to yelp and Google and anywhere else I can post such a review I feel a responsibility to discourage people from using Valet Connections now or in the future, there are a myriad of other parking options, available at the Detroit Metro airport, and I would encourage anyone considering parking at Detroit Metro airport to use another company besides Valet Connections for their parking. If I could give this review ZERO stars, I would.

We've been using Valet Connections for a few years now, and you won't find a better deal for airport parking. Book on their website, park your car in the garage, check in inside, then grab your shuttle. We've never waited more than 10 minutes on either end. We've used other park and ride companies (the big ones where you wander around the lot outside looking for a shuttle), and it's so nice to be in a covered area - especially in the winter.
I want to be clear that this is not a five star operation in the sense that it's not impeccable service, spotless area, etc. It's a garage. I'm giving it five stars for being prompt, and for value for your money.
We also are loyalty members, and every few trips we get a few day. Can't complain.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - David O.Pontiac, MI03Dec 23, 2023

I arrived from Mexico & had no US dollars with me... I get down from the van to go pay, while my wife got the luggage's, I love my truck and my truck is a bit loud, so I remote started it and while I was walking by the door, I'm smiling cause I missed my truck. Driver says "what are you laughing at?" I said in my head is he talking to me? Is he okay? So I continue walking to the truck. As I'm loading the luggage to the bed of my truck he stops next to us and says "next time you take your luggage down, if you're not going to tip, you take your luggage down" Sign says "TIPS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED" it doesn't say tips are mandatory. Last time at this place, have been leaving our vehicles since 2019 I believe. NO MORE!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amarjeet G.Milwaukee, WI05Nov 27, 2023
Used the valet parking, had the car washed and detailed. The lot was slightly confusing at first but figured out how to drive inside the building to drop it off.
Was on 3 week vacation, cost was reasonable for parking about $247. Getting dropped off to the airport was fine. The shuttles are a little smaller but is tall enough for stacking luggage.
Pickup was pretty quick and within the expected time range of 15 mins from the airport. Shuttle was waiting for us when we got to the ground transportation area.
Car was waiting for us inside and getting the keys was quick. Overall very satisfied with service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Robert R.San Clemente, CA113Apr 3, 2023
Worst experience in my 40 years of travel. If you don't mind dealing with incompetent thieves you'll love them. Shuttle drivers are rude and speak unprofessional. Do not leave anything in your vehicle that you want to be there when you get back. Apparently the employees can't afford their own e cigarettes because ours were all missing.
Spend the extra couple bucks per day elsewhere until these clowns can learn some manners.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 1
