Mellow Mushroom - Asheville

Perfect as usual.
Love the pizza and spinach dip.
Was pretty busy for a Monday night in February.
Keylan the server was awesome.
Will be back again.

Always a great place to go out and eat.
Usually on weekends it's quite busy with waiting over 30 minutes but always worth the wait.

The first few visits have been amazing Ong, expect the last recent one where the waitress came across quite rude and it wasn't busy as well.

Food is always great especially any pizza option is must have.

Mellow Mushroom has been on my list for years. It was one of the first pizza places I remembered seeing vegan cheese at, but hadn't been able to try it until now. Surprisingly it actually held up to what I had built it in my head. This location was pretty fun inside, decorated it murals and neon art. Unfortunately, our server seemed to be having a bad day, but would definitely go again.

We arrived about 35 minutes before closing on March 25 and they seemed very disappointed to see us and didn't want to seat us. We did order a mushroom pizza to go which we took back to the hotel and it was very good. But I dont enjoy feeling unwelcome so recommend people with similar self respect arrive earlier in the hostesses shift.

I usually only post when I really enjoy, or when I am very very disappointed. This was the latter.

Such a fun and colorful location! Inside and out everything popped and had vibrance. The hostess who greeted us at the door heard me as I realized there were actual bowling balls used in the decor and she told me the sweetest story about how the owner's late friend owned a bowling alley and once it was sold he used pieces from the bowling alley in the decor of the restaurant in remembrance. Actual service was fast and friendly. The pizza was hot and fresh and I had zero complaints. I am sad all the MM Wu-Tang looking shirts were sold out (even online) but that's just kudos to the marketing team. Last awesome thing I loved, a homeless? man came in and they gave him something to drink. That was all I needed to know about the staff. Golden!

We came here for lunch and were immediately seated. The host was very nice, and we were served relatively quickly.

This pizza is awesome! I for sure would want to come back again and try a different pizza. We split the small, but if you're really hungry you could for sure split the medium.

We stopped by on a whim. My SIL had never been as shes from Tejas. We ordered a small Buffalo Chicken Pizza with ranch, meatballs, and a caesar small salad. The meatballs were amazing. I loved every moist succulent bite. The pizza crust was buttery and airy with a garlic taste. She likes spice, so we drizzled Texas Pete and honey over it. It was delicious. Such a great bite and good customer service.

Excellent pizza, good beer list and nice cocktails.

Mellow Mushroom is always good but I especially love the one in Asheville! I travel a lot and it's always my go to for good takeout!

Their pizza keeps really well, is just as delicious when it's reheated, and I love their topping choices! Whether you're enjoying in house or taking to go it won't disappoint.

I usually start with their artichoke dip which is creamy, and pairs really well with their herb dusted crostini!

My favorite pizza is their holy shiitake which is a white pizza base topped with sautéed mushrooms, a mixture of cheeses and their delicious herb aioli! Get an extra side of this for their crust!

Recently I tried their seasonal pizza The Merry Prankster and it may be a new favorite! It was a pesto vase with Italian sausage, grilled chicken, roasted red peppers and various veggies! YUM!

Great wings and spinach salad. My vegan partner had a build it yourself pizza and was thrilled.
