My appointment was for 12:30 at 12:40 the said they could not take me for another 30 minutes. I am sorry but that is NOT acceptable. My time is valuable and the receptionist is a little snot.
Also the prices are high at VIP

I'm going back to Jagged Edge.

When I want to look and feel amazing, I come here. I've had my hair cut here a time or two (my hair loyalties lie elsewhere), but my god... I just can't find anyone that can shape eyebrows like Kate can.

She's a miracle worker. She could probably wax water into wine with what she's managed to do with my face. When I leave VIP (even red and blotchy like you are after waxing) I look so much more put together. She's sociable and sweet and makes things as painless as possible...

...which is probably why I've been back to have all sorts of things waxed. Legs, pits, toes, and crotch- all waxed smooth as a baby's bottom courtesy of Kate's mad skills. It's not even awkward having her all up in your crotch- she's entirely business-like and makes it a piece of cake.

A little pricey... but she's good! And it's not awkward! And in my opinion, that makes it worth it.

Shannon Rocks! Book your hair appt with her she can do anything from cut, color, blow dry, and curls! I'm very picky but she is really good and I go to her weekly for a blow dry! The blow dry lasts for 4 days..iv had it last longer using some dry shampoo and hairspray! She takes her time and asks what you want and she'll give honest answers! She cares about not ruining your hair! She is very knowledgeable about color. She needs to be working in Hollywood on the red carpet and as a California native I know! She's always fashion forward but can do a classic hairstyle as well. I will be her forever client!

I must say, this place was not worth the money. I paid over $60 for a basic pedicure, and while the hair stylist doing the pedicure was nice, she clearly was not a nail tech. She filed my nails unevenly, and the polish was slapped on very sloppily. The receptionist were very rude, and they ran over half an hour late for my appointment without so much as an apology or explanation why.

After going home and talking to my friend that referred me there, I learned that the pedicure was supposed to be an hour long. I totally missed out on that "20 minute massage" that she had raved about.

Never the less, I will not be returning.

This place is the BEST!

I see Kate for Brazilians and she is the bomb! She is awesome at what she does. She is quick and efficient and never misses a spot. I had her do my eyebrows once too and she did that fantastically!

I have had my hair done by Yvette mainly, but also have had Becca and Bo, and all 3 of them are great.

The whole staff here is wonderful and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Had my hair colored there and never went back after they turned my hair green and let me walk out the door like that. When I called the next day they used the excuse that the stylist was pregnant ( never heard that one before). They had me come back to get some type of rinse to get the green out, but it just turned it a weird color. THEN, they actually charged me for a conditioner to take home. I felt bad for the girl who tried to fix it because she wasn't even the one who ruined it. I ended up tipping her to because it wasn't her fault, but called the owner when I got home. I asked for my money back, but she said they don't do that. I would have sued if it wouldn't be more hassle than it was worth.

This place is good! If you are a walk-in ask for Renee, she is amazing and always does my hair the way I ask. Even if bringing in a picture, she will do her best to make it look exactly like the picture shows. The people there are so nice and make you feel welcomed.

I refuse to give this place 5 stars, ONLY because of the Customer Service at VIP.

KATE did my first eyebrow wax. She is THE BEST!!!
I haven't found anyone in comparison to her. She's very sweet, and easy to talk to. She takes her time and puts in quality work. I've seen her 2-3 times.

I made an appointment with her a few weeks ago, but when I got there they had me booked with someone else. She did an "ok" job. She was very quick about it, and she didn't really "shape" them.

Also, I always get such a "rude vibe" from the older receptionist when I walk in and leave. Is it that hard to greet someone with a smile, and a "Hello." ???
(I worked as a receptionist of an eyelash extension/hair salon for almost a year, and would NEVER treat my clients the way I feel I get treated when I walk in.)

She was talking to a friend who was standing in front of me at the counter. The receptionist obviously saw me behind her, but didn't care to stop talking to let me pay and leave. Finally I said, "exscuse me I'd like to pay now," and got a snotty look from the woman in front of me. Sorry lady, I don't have all day to stand there and listen to you talk about your kids.

I don't care for the atmosphere of VIP, but Kate makes it worth it!

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, great colorists and stylists. I've been coming here since they opened and it's always a good experience.

I have been going to Renee for years. She is the best! Everyone always asks me where I get my hair done. She is my stylist and my therapist lol!
