Definitely a hole in the wall. I thought this is an all-american restaurant but i was totally dumbfounded to learn that they offer oriental food. Korean, Chinese, bbq, and of course fish and chips as the name says. The grandma cuts the chips herself and put them in a batter and fry them upon ordering.
It is a cash only restaurant. It is run by your typical grandma and grandpa so the food is really good. They cook your food as soon as you order and they do it fast. Very nice staff.
      Highly recommend this place.

I took a recommendation from my coworker and decided to come here for lunch. I was a bit skeptical considering the location it was in but the diviest food is usually the best right?

For ambiance alone I would have to give this place a 2 star. They're definitely not a normal sit down restaurant. The drinks are in a cooler on the side wall and you walk up to the man at the counter who writes your order down in a notebook. There's not much talking involved so it's a bit confusing as to how the service is supposed to go. Almost more of a self serve type of place, but the food is legit.

I had the beef Bulgogi which came hot and fresh with a side of steamed rice. I got it a medium spicy which was just right and the portion side was very good for the price.

Overall I would try this place again but only for take out. This is certainly not somewhere I would want to hang around and enjoy my food.

I drive all the way from the southwest once a month just for this culinary experience. I would tell my friends that I'll miss this place when it closes. Sadly that day has come.... I am already fiending for the crispy freshly fried fish drowned in their unique combination of tartar and "hot" sauce. I wish I would've asked for the recipe.

The couple who ran USS fish and chips were always so sweet to me. They had old movies playing instead of espn like most places and I always felt so welcome. I am typing this long deserved but too late review from a parking lot that I will sadly never visit again. I don't know if anyone reading this knows the couple and could get a message to them but if so please say thanks and I miss you. I hope they are well and aware of the joy they spread through delicious fish, kimchi and pineapple.

If anyone knows what that homemade "hot" sauce is please share so I can alleviate some gastronomic despair. You yelpers all know what it's like to crave.....

Thank you, USS Fish 'n Chips, our time together was too brief.

First time here. So nothing to compare to.
Food was HOT and fresh. Taste was good.
Atmosphere is very casual and small. Must come early because there is t a lot of room. Mom and pop place, they do everything! Love a business like this.

Yet another decent hole in the wall/mom and pop type of place to check out if you're in the area! Before you come here, let be known that its CASH ONLY!

Just like any new place I check out I usually go with the namesake of the place if it applies. So what I got was the Fish, Chicken, and Chips Combo ($8.25).

You get two pieces of battered fish and chicken along with potato chips. The fish was tender and flaky. The chicken was bit chewy because it was a bit dry. The potato chips are comparable nilla wafers thicknesswise but were just a tad bigger. Im thinking if dude makes it with some kind of seasoning, it would surely be a hit for it was already decent the way it was.

If you refer to my pic, when the guy brings it out to you on a tray, it comes complete with ranch, ketchup, tartar sauce, and hot sauce. That's awesome! You have all the condiments you need!

While I was eating, I noticed that other people that came in ordered Korean dishes mainly Bulgogi and Kim Chi Soup. Man, all it did was give me more incentive to come back and order those very same items. Oh, before I forget, this place is an American/Korean/Chinese type of cuisine.

So basically, you can eat here every day for about 6 months and not have the same thing. Here are just some of the things that you would probably catch your eye after looking over the menu. Frog Legs, Oxtail Soup, Fried Pineapple, Kalbi Short Ribs, and Deep Fried Eggplant.

Minus 1 star because of the cash only policy and the location. Quick story. As I park my car and get out, this guy comes out of nowhere asking me if I wanted to buy some weed from him. I said, no thanks, I am here for the fish and chips. He responded with oh yeah, the fish and chips are bomb here. Then off he went like nothing happened.

In closing, food and service here is great. I just dont think coming here at night would be a good idea especially if you are alone. Which reminds me. The business hours are Monday thru Saturday 10:30 am to 8 pm. Closed sundays. These guys are located in a strip mall on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Cheyenne Ave. Check them out.

First of all, the lady at the counter, which I'm assuming is the owner, is very rude. For someone like that to be running a business, I'm surprised she's STILL IN business. I knew this was going to be an experience. We ordered, then realized they only take cash, so we had to make a quick trip to the atm across the street. I ordered the fish and hush puppies, chicken chow mein for my daughter and plain chicken wings and chips for my gf. We got home and realized there was no tartar sauce for the fish and half way through my gf's wings we notice some 'fuzz' coming from one of the wings. We look closely and VOILA a whole patch full of hair! At first we thought it was from the chicken but last I remember chicken doesn't have hair, does it?

So we went back to show her the last four wings we had with hair on them and she looked at them & threw the entire container away in the trash, went into the register and giving us our money back in the amount of the cost of the wings and says "I busy sometimes and not see it. Sorry"
      WTF!!!

      Hair in chicken wing batter!

      *first *

Fish and chips? Korean food? Chinese food? On las vegas Blvd? Ooooooooooo k?

Walking in, it's everything you expect. Plastic cheap chairs and tables. Ripped up posters on the wall. A big ass crab hung on the wall. It's definitely a ma & pop restaurant.

I ordered a beef bulgogi (bul kogi in their menu) and it was delicious. The spiciness was perfect and the taste was sweet. They don't give you enough rice though. I definitely had way more beef than rice.

      Bulgogi -4/5

Price is iffy. $12 for a bulgogi plate? With 2 tiny scoops of rice?

      Price 3/5

I will be back to try more on their menu though... It's good enough for now!

First time here and I was happily satisfied...
I've drove by before always seemed closed finally on this day I drive by and happen to see someone going in . Made a quick turn and walked on in .... people had been telling us about this spot since we've been looking for a fish and chips place . The batter was just right and golden brown . Chips was plenty and yummy . Will come back and try some Korean food since it looked so yummy.
