We use this location a few times a week. the main gentleman on there is super helpful and just really kind! He's informative and quick to keep things going. Our go-to post office.

It's a post office. Very friendly. Very small. Since only two ppl work, they close during lunch. Not a big deal. Or sure why the bad reviews.

This is my favorite post office. There is rarely a line, usually I can walk right up to the counter and get the help I need. The guy who is almost always there is super friendly and always smiling. They do close for an hour so that they can take a lunch break but if you check the times online before you head over you should be fine.

These guys get paid too much for the slack jobs they're not even doing. They have an unofficial "break time" listed for 11:30am-3pm to which they can and are gone at any given time with doors completely locked...go elsewhere. Better yet just pay a little extra to UPS or FedEx your items.

Try to avoid this post office if you can. Albert doesn't give quality customer service. He also works at other locations in Pierce County. Honestly he just doesn't care about the community.
This location closes at 4 everyday and is closed on Sat/Sun. I went in on Friday at 3 to mail a domestic package and an international package. Of course Albert was working and had to help me, reluctantly so. I apologized for taking up so much time but was off to the side while he helped three other customers. I thanked him a lot for showing me what to fill out for an international package but just as it was 3:56 he said he wouldn't process it. He said to go Downtown to the post on A st. I asked to leave it to ship out on Monday. Nope. It just was a very discouraging encounter. I'll be going to different post offices now.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ma T.Tacoma, WA055Dec 22, 2019
There is not only NO REASON it should take you 2 and a half days to get a Priority parcel 30 miles, it's also a violation of Federal regulations. I worked Mailing Requirements for 11 years, so you aren't bullshitting your way out of this one. You aren't busy anymore at the processing end, because the final rush was the first couple days of last week, starting 12/16. You know it as well as I do. You're more and more mechanized, yet service gets slower and more expensive everyday. I mail 2 parcels at the same time, one gets 175 miles in 2 days, but the one that's going out of state hasn't gotten 30 miles in nearly 72 hours. I suppose the flight will be in the air for three days too, just like last year. Quite a miracle of physics that one. Next year I'll go UPS. Less frustration. Wonder how much longer you'll even be in business.
Update: As of 2pm 12/23, my package has still not made it more than 30 miles from my home. It's been sitting in the same place for the last 32 hours. Any postal system in Southeast Asia could do better than what passes for the post office here these days.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nathan P.Kent, WA30120208Sep 12, 2013Updated review
Well song did it again , he wouldn't accept. Mail with postage stamps on it, said you have to buy usps metered postage, no postage stamps since it was certified mail. ...
Grrr. , took it to the postage office. In university place, wa.... I think i am going to do change.org to get him out since song been rude. To eery customers there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 7, 2013Previous reviewFinally. Song's supervisor, james got my po box door replaced with a key lock.... Had to pay $20 for for the lock since i requested it oh well.. Lol. But its good they replaced the lock...
Aug 6, 2013Previous reviewStill that supervisor still being rude.he finally gave me right combo for my po box and when i opened and noticed inside po box there is only one label for one of my businesses. And i approached him, said only one business or personal is allowed but i knew its not right, i had to call 1 800 ask usps. To file complaint against him and the customer service at that phone number agree its policy to accept all and label whatever is in the application i submitted online and in paper to him and would take care of it and speak to his supervisor about it. But still give on star until he leaves that post office. Since he still continue to be rude to me. Also i asked questions to him, he brushed it off when i was there, said to call me... Sighs....
Aug 3, 2013Previous reviewWell when i came to get po box with print out that i paid 3 months of po box online and the man there supposedly a supervisor was very rude to me and he refused to correct it on the computer at post office for me and let me pay the difference since they would not accept a small po box for a business... sighs... so they very rse an said you go home and fix it online on your pc grr.... so i went home and had to call 1 800 ask usps about it and file my complaint and they said i need to get med size po box then get refund on monday for other po box i paid online since it takes 48 hours then wait 5 to 7 days for refund back to card. then i went back in time before it closed at 4 and got the po box but the combination did not work and said will call me when they fix it.
sighs.... - Logan M.Seattle, WA56Apr 20, 2018
This is the worst post office I've ever been to. The guy Albert who works there is so rude and lied about the package weight so he wouldnt have to deal with it. I will not be back and this guy needs to be fired. Don't waste your time here.

Yeah, that "Song" guy and Albert guy can go where the sun don't shine. Extreme rudeness, to practically everyone around them. Surprised they haven't been fired yet. Here's to hoping.
