Friendly employees! Always a smile accompanied service no matter how busy they are. Conveniently located too.

Worst possible service in the state. They lie about everything! Say they don't have a complete address, and now want money to deliver my package. BS!

Some businesses/organizations start out great and then become utterly horrible.
Y'all, I'm here to tell you that some places can do the opposite.
The first year or two of living in Lake Stevens, I was terrified of going to the post office and had multiple pieces of mail and packages misdelivered, only to find the Postal Annex a black hole of unanswered phone calls. You could only file a missing package inquiry after a certain period of time, and when they finally called to follow up, would basically say "we can check but tbh it's very likely gone forever."
THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE.
The staff working the counter at the Lake Stevens Post Office this past year (when I attempted to visit again) has been phenomenal. I can only remember Sheena by name, but have been helped by 3-4 different staff throughout the past several months and every single visit has been just stellar. They are SO patient, kind, and professional - especially as I have been attempting to start a small business and figure out the wonderful world of shipping items (which is stressful in and of itself).
I haven't received neighbors' mail in a long time, and as far as I know, have received all of mine.
I am so appreciative of the current staff and their hard work when they are still so slammed. Thank you for turning my visits from something of dread and panic, to something I actually (weirdly?) look forward to!

So everything others say here IS 100% TRUE about what is happening in Lake Stevens! Worst mail carriers in Snoho County, and no one in mgmt will do a darn thing about it!!

INVESTIGATE the Lake Stevens post office, AND the Carrier Annex!!! Postal Carriers DO NOT DELIVER THE MAIL!!! Nope. They scan it as "Delivered," but they don't deliver it. Why? Cause they forgot it, and are LAZY. Then 2 days later it just "appears" in your mailbox. They forget packages in their vehicles while delivering during the day, then let 'em sit overnight, then deliver it whenever they see it sitting there, a day or two later (sometimes longer!). It is BAD w these horrible carriers... OR they get LAZY and just NOT DELIVER a parcel to your house that doesn't fit in your mailbox. They give ya the 'ol "orange notice" trick in your mailbox "Sorry We Missed You!" Nice scam! WRONG! Never even attempted a delivery. COMPLETE BULLSHIP.

INVESTIGATE LAKE STEVENS POST OFFICE and the ANNEX! Shelly?? Singh?Incompetence running rampant! How much longer can this go on?? How many more citizens have to complain about the sub-standard delivery of mail in this city?

If I could give less than one star, I would. I have had numerous packages that show as delivered but never receive (two in the past two weeks). I've had confidential mail that has been delivered to the wrong address. This has been going on for the entire time I have lived at my address, more than 12 years. It is so bad that when I check my mail I sort through and put back all the mail addressed to other residences before I leave my mailbox. I deliver any packages that are not mine to the correct address but do not receive the same for my packages delivered to the wrong address. I am frustrated with the money lost on purchases I never receive. I have brought this to the attention of the local post office but nothing has changed, if anything it is worse.

I never leave reviews but the service at this post office is outrageously bad. They consistently deliver our mail to the wrong house (several times a week) and lose our packages. I've called and spoken to different people 5 times now and still NO package (it's been almost a month of back and forth). Most of the people I've spoken with have been apologetic and nice but they can't seem to fix the issue. The last woman I spoke with (I couldn't catch her name) was rude like I was inconveniencing her because they didn't do their job; she didn't even apologize for being such a thorn in my side.

I've never had an issue with a post office/mail delivery in my entire life- if I didn't LOVE Lake Stevens I would move just to never have to deal with them again.

My advice would be to avoid using USPS as much as possible if you are in Lake Stevens, it is not worth the hassle. I'd give negative stars if I could.

Like others one star is to generous should be minus. Lake Stevens USPS is the worst, Takes days to get thru via phone at main office and the Annex never picks up, line just hangs up. Passed on messages for Postmaster to call me ..... don't hold your breath. Avoid at all cost, find other services even if it costs more.

Every time I call this Post Office, the phone rings and rings and rings. Then finally someone picks up and hangs up the phone. Can't you morons do your job?

I go in there occasionally and they are usually not especially friendly or helpful.

I brought in a medium sized package the other day. At first the woman told me $25 to ship, then inexplicably told me it would be $55. I told her that was more than I planned on paying and walked out. Then, I went to the little post office with Bartell's and gave their rep the same package--$25 to ship, out the door.

Avoid the Lake Stevens post office if you have anything you need to ship where you need some help. They would have cost me $30.
