I had a good experience here just today dropping off a package with all the details and label already put on. There's social distancing norms in place with little indicators on the floor and masks on policy. There was only one counter open at my time of visit around 4pm but, there wasn't a big line so it was ok.
Contrary to all the reviews I saw about this place before my visit, I was leaning towards a bad experience but, i didn't have one. It was a standard drop off for my package and I was done within a few minutes, got the receipt and headed home.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Annie C.Framingham, MA354Dec 18, 2020
Had a question about refilling out a customs form on a package that was returned to me almost a month after I sent it. The guy (older guy with a heavy grayish beard) behind the counter said 'I don't know' to every question I asked. He was clearly getting frustrated and so was I. He finally said he didn't know anything about sending packages internationally and suggested I go to the main office...definitely seemed to want me to leave. I wanted to ask how he was able to continue working in a post office knowing so little about sending things in the mail but whatever. If you want to buy stamps I guess he could handle that but don't waste your time and I guess his time for anything beyond that.

How many post offices are in Walpole? For heaven's sake!
Walpole Center, the tiny one on Summer Street (literally, it's only a 10 sq ft building), and this one. So 3. Wow.
This one is the most convenient to me, and is barely EVER busy. Heck, I've never seen more than one other person in the office anyway.
-1 star for staff. MOST of them are very, very friendly, but there are a few old grumpy people working at this post office, who are NOT pleasant.
For the rest of the post office, there is barely ever a line, so it won't take nearly as long to get through checkout, unlike it does at some points in Norwood and Westwood PO's. They have a large shipping area with boxes, tape, and all sorts of different labels. Never crowded either, like the country.
Plus, large parking lot and on street parking, without having the small lots in both Norwood and Westwood.
4 stars. I will be back and suggest the E Walpole PO to others.
Located on Union Street, at the Chestnut Street & Union Street fork.
Open Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and Saturday 9AM-Noon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tatiana V.East Walpole, MA115Jul 23, 2016

Horrible customer service. I will never go there again! I had 2 certified package slips left for me. I went in there that day and was told by the angry guy behind the counter that delivery driver was out and I could drive around looking for them and threw the slips at me. I called on Tuesday and spoke to Jenny who also seemed like she was a very angry person and unhappy that she was working there. I asked this individual if I could sign the slips and leave them in my locked mailbox, as I was unable to make it in there during their business hours. Jenny said,"well I don't know, I have no idea who you are." I gave Jenny my info, she said the delivery driver will pick up the slips up and drop off the package the next day. I left these in my box on Wednesday..After not getting the package on Thursday and Friday, and Saturday. I called on Monday and spoke to Jenny, who said the delivery driver delivered the packages and blamed me for not having the tracking number. She continued to be rude & condescending, I let her know that I didn't like the way she was talking to me. She said well that's too bad. I asked her to speak to her Supervisor, she said that would be me. I asked this Jenny how the delivery person could have left my packages in my locked box, as I am the only one who has the key? She continued to talk over me, and refused to look into this further. I have never been so angry and felt extremely helpless. I have no recall for my packages and got no help from this office and was only humiliated by this person Jenny..Never..never will I do business here again..I really hope Jenny gets a taste of her own medicine..Karma is a real B...and she will find herself on my end one day..I hope she gets her medicine 2 fold..Just a nasty nasty person..and this is someone who is representing the US Post Office..
