US Post Office

Went in today to apply for my passport and I was greeted with a smile from Sheila. Sheila was very professional and pleasant. I have always had great service from this post office but Ms. Sheila went above and beyond! I wish she gets a promotion because she is awesome!

This post office is definitely bottom barrel. At any given time there is only 2 people working the windows, they are slow, and they are rude. The line WILL be long, I'm talking LONG long. No sense of urgency. And it's always freezing in here. You know how the Dr. Office be cold? Well it's way colder then that. What's the reason I come here because it's close to my house but man if I had other options I'd go else where.

My experience at the Compton location was great. I'm sad that I cannot remember his name. I want to say Isiah, but I could be wrong (sorry) he was great. I renewed or had to start over with my passport process. Everyone was nice and they were the only post office that answered their phone during operation on a Saturday, versus to other places I called the same day, during operation. I went on Monday and the direction/instruction did not change per the post office's website versus another office I visited. Thanks for going above and beyond. It's great to experience beautiful customer service again. Thanks Compton office located near Alondra, it was worth the drive.

This is a poorly managed post office!!!!
The mail carriers are not diligent in getting mail to customers so You have to end up inside the post office. It's a vicious cycle. No one answers the phone , so your stuck if you want your package or let someone know about your concern. Because it's in Compton no one cares, and subpar quality of service.
I'm really holding back here!!!

Sheila was amazing, my son and I needed passport and she took care of us. They also have foto service their which makes it convenient!

I ordered a product from a bead company and have been tracking it everyday, so why is my package been sitting at the Compton post office for 10 days! Still waiting !!!!

I had the same problem with another purchase going to this same post office a few years back, I received that one a month later and it was opened.

These people get paid good money and have great benefits why are they having constant complaints and problems at this post office, what a joke!

Unbelievably careless, over 33 people in line and one person helping and even she is going on coffee breaks every 15 minutes!!
People are complaining but no one cares!!

Very clean and fast service. Staff here are very helpful and friendly. Taxis in here they gave me the guidance of the best method on how to send my taxes to the IRS.

Held and returned my mail back to all sender because my home looked abandoned, even though I was receiving utilities billed, front and back porch lights left on each nights abs most days and especially evenings I was at home
Called post office to ask was mail being held or not delivered and was asked why would I think that on a few different calls
Only to find out they (The postal carrier) stopped my mail and reported my home as looking abandoned

The worst post office!
The staff all extremely rude you can hear them saying they don't want to help, they think we can't hear through the glass. They refused to help me twice to get my passport - they really need new staff this one lacks customer service skills!!
