Dropped in for a workout while I was on vacation and had a great time. Very knowledgeable/friendly coaches, great facility, and overall great experience.
The set up outside is super cool, can not wait to get back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin S.Sacramento, CA63235Oct 26, 2013
This place is Legit. I was in San Diego for the weekend and was recommended this box by a friend. I was super impressed! Great facility, coaches were attentive and knowledgable. On this particular day we happened to do the hero WOD 'Murph'. Before we began our trainer, Nick, told us the story of Murph and that "we are doing this workout to honor him. Whenever you start to feel tired or bad for yourself, remember Murph and push on."
US Crossfit is a class act
P.S. 1 mile run is to the beach and back! How cool is that?!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rocky B.San Diego, CA1623617Jan 8, 2016
I dropped into a class here on my lunch break, and I cannot recommend this box enough. The facility is awesome, I love the ability to workout outdoors and the equipment seems well maintained. Best part? Really involved coaches and reeeeally nice members that didn't give the typical mean snooty CF vibe so many people get sucked into. Everyone said hi to me and introduced themselves quickly, it was such a welcoming atmosphere. I am excited to go back, thanks for letting me sweat with ya!

I'm a walking testimonial for US Crossfit. In April of 2012 I was 30 pounds heavier than I am today. It took me 6 months to lose the weight, but the time flew by because the workouts are so much fun. They are always different and it's essentially personal training as the class sizes are fairly small.
The coaching staff is fantastic. They are experts at teaching good form, making sure you execute the movements correctly, encouraging you to be better and sometimes kicking you in the butt when you need it. There's also a great sense of community at USCF with so many supportive members keeping you motivated.
Anyone can open a Crossfit "box", but USCF is unique. It's owned by a former Navy SEAL who brings 30 plus years of physical and mental training techniques to the facility. Being a member at USCF will not only make you physical stronger but will keep you mentally on track as well.
If you want to make a change in your life for the better, USCF has the prescription.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bill B.Winter Park, FL2435019Sep 14, 2013
Been doing CrossFit for 5 years now. When I go out of town on business I always look up a box in the area where I will be staying.
Visiting many different boxes throughout the USA, I have to say this box is among my top two. Of course, I'm partial to my hometown box, but USCrossfit is fantastic. Good group of trainers, they always make you feel welcome, and the folks coming for the WOD are always friendly and welcoming too. Almost feel like I belong here!
The WOD's are always a challenge and having a run up to Lookout Point included, and its view of the Pacific, doesn't hurt either!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - KURT M.Cardiff by the Sea, CA139143Jan 18, 2009
my wife and i joined, and love it. i have been go to your traditional gyms for years, and was bored, and couldnt find motivation to go anymore. Every workout here is different, and by no means could you get bored. it's easy to scale for beginners, and the best part is, my wife loves it too. highly recommended if you want to get in the best shape of your life.

If you want to be fit, and fully functional train like pro athletes train. Train like the Navel Seals train. Of course you will not be able to do the same intensity of workout, but by copying the same functional movement, and training philosophy you will gain unprecedented levels of fitness you just can not achieve in the regular gym weight room. These huge warehouse gyms with there hundreds of static machines are very eighties in their thinking. At US Crossfit you get a brilliant trainer to motivate you and to correct your form, at the cost of a regular gym. Talk to Rob or Mark. You will not be sorry you did!

CrossFit noob here. That being said, I've been to a few different boxes in both NorCal and SoCal and US Crossfit is absolutely among the very best I've attended.
For noob's like me, the CrossFit Lite workouts are just awesome, and I wish more boxes offered them as part of their regular programming. The emphasis in these Lite sessions is on learning: learning technique, learning how much further you can go beyond what you thought possible, learning how to scale exercises, etc. And you get in a great workout!
The teachers are exceptionally patient. Alan and Melanie are particularly gifted but all of the teachers I worked with were terrific. The facility is relatively small (at least compared to my home box at San Francisco CrossFit) but they make great use of the hybrid indoor / outdoor space (and the nearly always perfect weather), and the location can't be beat in terms of providing inspiring views of the Pacific during running!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Heather W.Encinitas, CA753Mar 29, 2012
This place is awesome! As a beginner coming in to such intense workouts I was a bit apprehensive but the awesome staff totally put me at ease. Everyone is extremely welcoming and so encouraging. Each trainer has taken time to give me lots of personal attention and to make sure I am comfortable and working out at the right level for me and doing all moves safely. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I am a runner and I was looking for a way to get stronger besides just running.. I was scared because CrossFit sounds hard and I am a total beginner. I just want to say that I feel I found a great place to get in shape. All the teachers are really nice and they know there stuff. You cant get bored because every work out is different. You have all levels of people working in the same class and its intense in a great way. If you are serious about working out and do not want to just go through the movements in a boring gym then this is the place to come too. I am really glad I joined.. I highly recommend it ..
