I'm not sure if this UO is structurally sound, but I got an amazing deal on denim shorts here so cave away, building!

I don't frequent Gaslamp but this UO seems to be on a street with several other stores and dining areas. For example, I think I spotted a Lucky Brand Jeans down the block.

I dropped by recently and, as one does, beelined directly for the sale section. Their sales section is located on the lower level, along with home goods and mens clothing. I noticed that when I was on the lower level, I could hear foot traffic from the upper level, and there was a lot of concerning creaking. The fitting rooms were pretty rank, and mine smelled like urine.

All that aside, they had a pretty well stocked sale section and even without any special promotions, prices were pretty nice. To be fair, some of the on-sale designs make you question UO's judgement, or even their visual acuity, but if you really dig into the racks you can find some pretty good stuff sometimes! I got a pair of high-waisted white denim cutoffs, 100% cotton with an all button closure, for literally $5!! Amazing.

As I was waiting in line I was so tempted by a candle, but it was way, way overpriced for its size (see attached image and caption). I must have looked quite silly, repeatedly sniffing the candle then grimacing at the price! I'll try to find a dupe elsewhere I guess.

I went here looking for a good pair of jeans. I look in the corner and there's a big selection, so I ask a worker what my size would be based off my average jean size (4) and she told me, so I got a bunch of pairs in that size to try on (I even sized up). Needless to say, they didn't fit. At all. I asked for a bigger size. The girl came back and brought me ONE jean and said this is the biggest size they had in the whole store. Only ONE jean.
To not even have a size for me, who wears a size 2 in American Eagle mom jeans, is absolutely ridiculous. I walked out of that store feeling horrible about my weight and size.
This store does not even accommodate for REGULAR sized women. So, unless you're the size of a small child, don't go here.

Rude cashier. Had I not asked about their sale price, she wouldn't have given me that 50% off. This item was on their sale rack. They had a buy 1, get second item for 50% off. They also had another rack, buy 2 for $15, but I wasn't given that price until I kindly questioned the cashier about it. I spoke to her in a friendly way, but she was condescending and rude. It isn't her fault for sure, it must be the system or something; but she definitely needs to work on her customer service skills that's for sure!

Ordered twice. Both times my order was canceled, and they did not refund the rewards I used to purchase items.

Located a block away from Horton's Plaza.

I've been here a couple of times already. I came in last night with Maridel A. while we killed time before Happy Hour started at Oceanaire.

I love how they have a photo booth inside this Urban Outfitters location, for $5 you get 3 copies of your pictures! It's really cool!

They sell Polaroid cameras and record players! I really want to get one for my birthday!

If you're looking for Calvin Klein tighty whities they have it here ladies!

I love their name brand perfume! I bought the Thé Matcha scent, and it's eau de parfum for only $18! It stays on well too! You need to try it out!

Their clothes are overpriced but I like going here for accessories or stuff that you wouldn't find at other stores.

Cambri is absolutely amazing, she is a professional and she dressed my friend within 10 minutes with a reasonable price without any complaints and it was a bomb! We love this store and will indeed be back

Urban Outfitters Is probably one of the trendy spots to visit if you're walking around and shopping the Gaslamp area. However, as it all goes its pretty over-hyped and over priced with novelty items and fashion. Iwalk in and I see Record players, polaroid cameras, and 90s fashion. I feel like I walked into an over priced thrift store? I know Urban is a trendy company, but im not here to yelp the fashion choices.

I was disappointed in the fact that there wasn't many helpful sales workers to answer any questions. I probably walked by 5 without any greeting or acknowledgment. I've worked retail before, so to me its very important if you want me to buy something I don't necessarily don't need. (Trust me, ill still buy something even if it was overpriced. I still think some things were cute there).

However, if you're looking to shop an Urban Outfitters be prepared for a walk... because parking Is just difficult.

I stopped in to get a few items I have been wanting that were not available at the location near my home. The store is well stocked and clean. Employees are friendly from the moment you walk in. I was in a hurry when I walked in due to it being close to their closing time luckily the employees weren't annoyed at me being the last customer of the night lol! Overall good experience in this location, I'll def be back!

Been here twice in a row this week and spent so much money on a romper (70$) and maxi dress (98$) - disappointed in myself because the quality is soooooo thin and cheap aannnnnddd its made from my motherland the Philippines--I'm sure they were paid only 5 pesos to make and are probably sold at a palengke too for 10pesos :(

But for real though UO -- get it together and make your prices more reasonable for the quality.

Walked in then walked out, was not greeted. Made eye contact with a few workers did not say anything and didn't even smile and kept ignoring me. I was the only one in there, the least they could do was acknowledge me and said "Hi". Go the extra mile to another location with workers who care.
