I worked 30 years in fine dining F&B, this is a 5 star operation !
Very clean top to bottom, the tables set with the utmost class.
Service was impeccable, staff performed every task to perfection down to every detail... and we were 100+ guests.
The food was delicious the minute the fork hit my tongue and didn't let up. As a habit I always look for where I could've done better. I couldn't have.
If you're looking for impeccable service, amazing food and a headache-free event, I highly recommend the Kimberton Inn. They're all about accommodating guests to the last detail.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Robert F.Phoenixville, PA01Apr 22, 2024
The Kimberton Inn is my go-to place for dining in Phoenixville. Usually greeted at the entrance by Oliver, the vocalizing cat. The owner, Jeff, is a highly professional, no nonsense guy who oversees a highly professional very friendly staff.
Excellent wine list, although a little pricey....pretty much like wine lists all across the country. Wonderful bar with friendly and efficient bartender.
Wide variety of entrees.....have never had a bad one. But, thankfully, they offer a hamburger with fries or salad...my standard
Always recommend as the best restaurant in the area!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 11, 2024
Kimberton Inn was dreamy and romantic. It made me feel like I was at my grandparents, but in a good way. The wood stove was so memorable. The staff made us feel welcome at their home. Their food was delectable, everything from the apps to dessert. I hope everyone gets to enjoy dinner at the Kimberton Inn!

Pluses: Amazing meal. Party of 8. Ages 4 to 74. Scallop bisque was amazing. Ditto for Pork chop with brussels sprouts and sweet potato puree with special sauce. Exquisitely prepared and attentively served. Each order was correct and delivered at once. Child food brought early as requested. Piano in background. Best meal I've ever had in a restaurant. My son raved about triple seafood meal and mascarpone cheesecake.
Minuses: none.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeanne C.Garnet Valley, PA29253Nov 19, 2023

Very attentive and professional staff as it should be in an expensive restaurant. Food portions were extremely small , overpriced but very tasty. Beautiful historic inn, if you're celebrating a special event, enjoy, not a place we would frequent otherwise.

Just had a wonderful Friday evening with my wife at the Kimberton Inn. The fireplaces were cracking. The service was awesome and the food was delicious. I can say enough about this place. The historic appeal and cozy setting makes for a delightful date night!

Host seating us was beyond snarky (after no direction of where we should go we asked "Should we follow you?" Response was "that would be the fastest way to get to your table."). Cut of steak was amazing but under seasoned and sides were cold and/or undercooked. The creamy peppercorn sauce was gelatinous and didn't move when plate moved. Lobster bisque was amazing, but ambiance/decor is for the 75+, bad country club food that was super expensive.
Oliver the cat that greets you is super sweet, though.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris B.King of Prussia, PA99353Mar 20, 2023
If you like Pennsylvania historic inns, this one is worth checking out. I'm a big fan of an ambience with multiple wood-burning fireplaces in the dining area. The fragrance, warmth and ambience adds to the experience. The food was absolutely top-notch and the wine selection was quite good. I would definitely recommend.
