Unlock Indy

Walked out of my condo Saturday evening, realized I forgot my phone, entered my door code and was denied! Whomp, whomp... My key pad malfunctioned, none of my codes worked, I was unable to override it and didn't have a cell phone, ugh... Drove to a friends, googled 24- hour locksmith and Unlock Indy was the winner being the first 5-star review that popped up. A guy(don't remember his name, wasn't on the receipt) answered after two rings, and was able to meet me in 10-min! Yay!

Once he arrived, he assessed the situation, tried the codes again, a battery recharge(just in case), and ultimately had to drill through the lock to unlock it. It took awhile(understandably, he was drilling through metal), when he finished there were metal shavings all over the floor(again, this is to be expected), and he asked for a vacuum to clean up - very thoughtful.

Extremely grateful this guy from Unlock Indy was available on a Saturday evening with such a quick response time and provided great customer service!

If you find yourself in a "locked out" predicament Unlock Indy should be your first call!

Side note: the light in my building entryway was out, he basically did all of this in the dark(with a flashlight) - not ideal, but also never complained.

Well, after locking myself out of my newly purchased home on a Saturday afternoon, I was in need of a locksmith. I already had one scheduled to come out Thursday afternoon, but unfortunately now I couldn't wait. I left a message for Kory on Sunday morning. He returned my call about an hour later due to church. He was able to get me in and rekey my locks in no time. Highly recommend for emergencies or immediate assistance.

In our front door, a key broke and half of it remained in the lock, plus the inside gear was bent. Even though we had a more complex case, the technician agreed to assist. He was finishing up one job and could be at our house in 20 minutes. The technician did a great job and was very professional.

He initially quoted us $75-$100 for a key extraction and still honored the price even though we ended up having a more complex problem.

Ultimately, I choose him because after calling a few other business listed on Yelp, he was the only one who asked additional questions and was actually friendly on the phone.

If you can and are not in a dire emergency, call different locksmiths and ask for quotes. Many companies will bait and switch you. They'll tell you $30-40 on the phone but then will jack the price up and try to confuse the consumer. Or just do a really poor job. If you are in an emergency (locked out of car/house while its freezing cold), do yourself a favor and call Unlock Indy.

He met me quickly and quickly unlocked the door to the house.
We have company in town and have a cookout planned.
Someone unwittingly locked the wrong lock upon exit and we were left without an entry to the house.
Cory had it unlocked fast with plenty of time to finish off the days plans.
He even gave some great advice as to how to prevent it from happening again!

So today I locked myself out of the house and called one of the first locksmiths I found on google. I called Unlock Indy LLC. The man who answered didn't identify himself but only answered and said the name of the company. I told him I was locked out and he said it would be about 30-40 minutes and the fee was $120, I agreed. As I'm waiting for him I'm still attempting to get in my home and was finally able to get the door open. I called the company back and told him I didn't need his service and he said it would be $65. I said for what? He began yelling saying gas was high and he had turned down two jobs to come help me (neither are my problem), and I explain how he didn't come help me and hadn't even made it to my home. He then asks what is a fair price and I said zero because he didn't assist me (mind you I would have paid him something but he was yelling at me). He then yells at the top of his lungs calling me a stupid cunt and says that's why I hate niggers. Then calls me a stupid nigger and hangs up.... So due to me not knowing if he is the owner or an employee/contractor I didn't call back. However if you're ever in need of a locksmith please know that Unlock Indy LLC hates niggers. Upon losing my car keys one night at work, Kory completely re-keyed my car while I slept and left my new keys with my co-workers. Fast, professional, courteous! Would suggest 100 times out of 100!

I locked us out 30 minutes before my wife's big presentation. THEN it started raining. Unlock Indy arrived in 10 minutes and got us in immediately. Thanks for saving the day!!

Super nice technician. Gave him a call in the late hours of the night, he had one other job and kept me posted on his ETA the entire time. He showed up in under 30 minutes from the time I called. The rest of the process including the unlock & processing my credit card took about 3 minutes; so 33 minutes total. Price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company.

I locked my keys in my car after work on a Friday. When I called, Unlock Indy quoted a fixed price and charged that exact amount.

He was timely and professional. I would recommend to my closest friends. I'm coming out of lurking and reviewing this business because he mentioned this is how he gains other clients. A business that absolutely relies on great reviews will most certainly treat their customers well.
