I had the best experiences with Thomas at University Electric. He was quick to respond, gave competitive prices, was honest about my electrical situation, and was able to work with my schedule. I definitely will be requesting his services again, and have referred him to other people as well.

Tom came out right away and fixed some circuit breakers and outlets. He diagnosed the problem and explained it. Prices were reasonable and he guarantees his work. Would definitely hire again.

Tom called me the same day I requested a call back, made an appointment for Wednesday however he called me Tuesday afternoon and asked if today would work and I said sure. He had to replace very builder grade light fixtures with light/fan fixtures. There up and work fantastically.

I had an electrical line go dead overnight. It was the line that runs my home security which was already running low on battery power so I needed someone right away. After calling several local electricians and was told they are all booked up for at least a week, I submitted a request with HomeAdvisor and was contacted by Tom at University Electric. He said he was able to come out same day. While I was waiting for him to arrive I discovered that the line had come back into service. I had Tom check the line anyway as I'd had the problem before (which I thought had been fixed by another company). He checked everything and couldn't find anything that would have caused the line to go dead. He suggested that the load on the line could be causing the problem if whatever was plugged into it was pulling across the entire line instead of just the outlet being used for a specific device. He explained to me what needed to be done to correct that and I said I would seriously consider it. I also asked him for a quote to switch out the fuse box for a breaker panel. The service call charge was very reasonable considering what I had been quoted by some other companies.

Tom came the same day I called and replaced a connection behind the range. He explained the problem, was well prepared, and the work was reasonably priced AND completed within the hour.

Unprofessional bozo. Showed up the first time without the necessary ladder. Reschedules, and then doesn't show and dodges my calls. If you want to waste two afternoons on some incompetent goofball, give this guy a call.

I called University Electric in a panic. They "talked me off the ledge" on the phone for 15 minutes and even let me text pictures of my electrical issues. So helpful and willing to explain things in a language that I could understand. Thank you again guys!!
