Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl & Grill

Nobody sat us, after waiting 10 minutes, so we basically sat ourselves. We had to wave down a server, because apparently we were invisible and the servers bypassed us and payed us no mind.
Once one responded, our server was very nice and she did do very well. Which is the reason is the reason I rated 3 stars, as opposed to a 2 star.
The food was decent and was delivered relatively quick.

Food is amazing. Price is moderate. Had a wonderful server named Grace! She was very nice and was on top of everything without us even having to ask! My husband and I got the all you can eat shrimp and we received our shrimp refills before we even finished the others! Definitely a must stop if you're in the neighborhood! This is our second time here and we still as happy as the last time. It is definitely an underwater theme that makes me feel like I'm in the ocean myself! I love looking at all their decorations and designs and not to mention they have a bowling alley on the other side of the restaurant and Bass Pro Shop right next door to walk off all that shrimp.

I had family in for a visit and we took them bowling!!! We had a great time!! Staff was extremely kind and helpful! Location was very clean and organized. Lots of cool decor! Groupon was a great deal for a large group!

My husband and I live over 1.5 hours away and we come here to eat atleast twice a year. I absolutely love the alligator especially with the "gator sauce" and we always get the shrimp and everything tastes so good. It's a nice treat to eat here and the decorations all over are fun to look at.

The past couple of time we have been here, our waitress has been Marie and she is fantastic. Always keeps are drinks filled and checks on us regularly. I highly recommend eating here!

Our server was Bec and she was awesome. Alligator tacos and calamari were great. Clam chowder wasn't the best. Tasted more like warm milk than anything but the rest of our food was good. We had a large group of 20 and our drinks stayed full and food arrived really fast. The kids bowled and looooved it!!

Considering this is a big box chain it's really not bad. Service is questionable sometimes I get really good service and sometimes it's horrible so that's is a crap shoot but I'd say this place is worth trying if in the area. Their chili is really good.
The real gem of this place is the "underwater" bowling. Dinner that's not bowling alley food but actual sit down dining and a few games of unique and fun bowling can be an excellent evening out as a family if you have kids of any age and even the elderly OR a fun adult evening out before hitting the bars or in place of going to bars/clubs.
The shipwreck bar in the center of the bowling alley makes drinking and bowling easy and fun.

Good for a chain. It's a restaurant and bowling providing a good option for indoor recreation.
Service was sweet and the manager personally corrected our singular issue. They do carry local beer on tap, have a kids menu and have a options for land and sea lovers.

This place is terrible.

I moved out of bristol and was in visiting family. They decided to come to uncle bucks because we wanted to bring the niece to see santa. While the line was long we eventually decided to grab food and since we where here. It would be new for myself and my wife and my brother in law and his wife went bowling.

We went to the bar and he ordered drinks and while we where talking to the current bartender she told us the bowling area is not served and that they could send us the food if we ordered it but no one would come and take our orders.

I was surprised that someone did come around and take orders for food/drinks. 20 minutes later we had drinks. There where some kids in our party and their food came out about 15 minutes later. No im not exaggerating you pay by the hr to bowl and the timer is on the screen. When we did start getting food we got kids and about 1/2 of the adult food, the adult food being cold. One of our party ordered a flat bread and they brought a pizza and it was topped with confusion and not ours when the flatbread did arrive it was cheese and sauce and they had ordered the margherita flatbread. My brother inlaw and a friend of his ordered the "alley gator" both came out cold and where immediately send back.

About 10 minutes ago by and the waiter comes back with a drink refil, not for everyone just one drink refill. We ask about our food, i get my burger - Tournament burger, its hot and good. My wifes burger comes out and she had told them pickles on the side - her burger is a bare piece of meat with the pickles still on it. Finally after im about half done with my burger to the alley gator bites come out, the remaining wrap comes out and after much complaint my wife gets a fresh burger and rings.

It seems to me like the waitstaff doesn't care about their jobs and dont care about service to the customers which, being a restaurant/bar/bowling alley you would have ample staff with it being the holidays and having something like santa to draw in crowds.

I usually only read reviews but after this experience, there has to be something said alone from the fact that i would never eat here nor recommend coming here the are better bowling alleys in the tricities and there are much better restaurants.

I wish i had a negative option here and i could get my time/money back from this god awful place.

Uncle bucks fishbowl - sub par food/pricing/service.

Where do I start? We walked in as a family, and we opened the door to let the girls go in first. A drunk man holding an open beer came barging through and cussed at us. That reflects on the host stand. Having an open container is illegal. When we got to the host stand we stood on the left hand side. It's almost as if the hostesses could not see the left hand side of their stand. We stood there while they had their backs turned for about 5 minutes while they took other people who walked up on the right side.
The server was great, but the food made me want to throw up. The catfish was soggy. The cod was unbearable. I love fish. That wasn't fish.

Maybe 3.5 stars. Went on a Sat night, not too busy. Had a big group with a bunch of kids and they accommodated fairly well.

Had the nachos. Pretty decent. Nice amount of tasty pork, good crunchy chips, nice BBQ sauce and other accompaniments. Have to say the salsa was pretty bland but honestly didn't miss it. Jalapeños were nicely spicy.

Girl had pizza and fries. Fries were slightly salty but still good. Medium-sized, not shoestring or very thick. Pizza was pretty good for a kid's meal--reasonably tasty sauce and cheese. Boy had the fried shrimp. Okay for a kid, small shrimp, nothing special.

Wife had the burger which was pretty decent as well. Not too dry, seasoned adequately.

Service was fairly prompt and courteous. Look, this place is squished between Bass and the bowling alley. However, I thought the food overall was decent and reasonably priced. Heck, my nachos were $8 and well worth it. I see there are some hater reviews out there so I thought I would put in my 2 cents. Beer selection is adequate, nothing fancy. Originally we had planned on going somewhere else before bowling but it was too busy. I would say this is a good alternative if you are in the area. Don't go out of your way to seek it out though.
