Picture your favorite sandwich. OK, now picture it with twice the meat, the highest quality cheese, and freshly sliced bread. The sandwich you're now picturing would be described as unbeatable, and it's our favorite kind of sandwich to serve. People around across the Southside know us for our party subs, and our tasty menu is enjoyed at corporate functions across Country Club Hills. Our regulars even know they can order sandwiches by name, like The Poseidon, full of beef, turkey, ham, and two types of cheese. Now, remember the sandwich you pictured earlier? Unbeatable Eatables is here to make it a reality.

      WARNING WARNING WARNING
RUBEN IS TRASH!!!They microwave the corn beef
It had to be the worst I ever ate, roast beef was better but the bread was not fresh. Do yourself a favor and make them at home it cost be 24$ for 2 sandwiches I could buy the same ingredients and make 4 sandwiches that would taste better what a waste of money. NO WAY YOU MICROWAVE your Ruben in a bowl then put it on a sandwich, I have to call BS on that, you've been open for 40 years and that's how you do it!!! It cost 30$ for a table top griddle and as far as the price! it would be worth the money if the product looked remotely like the picture. The bread wasn't fresh explain that and your apology is not accepted it Sounds more passive aggressive than anything.

Half of the #1 The Unbeatable Signature Sub heated. Absolutely delicious. The bread makes the sandwich.

Not 5 stars because they were out of bacon, macaroni salad and potato salad and was really hoping for some.

I've been going here since I was in high school and it doesn't disappoint. Sandwiches are always fresh and large portions. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes for my food if they're really busy either. There are some tables and benches to eat at that are well cleaned but I always do carry out.

This is what an Unbeatable Eatable has become. I ordered the Posieden with mayo, spices and oils, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Now the cucumbers on a large Unbeatable consisteted of 3 one inch coins, shaved roast beef, thinly sliced turkey loaf and ham that Subway would be proud of. Cannot say it had any oil to say, but to say spices was sparse. Will not darken the door again after 43 years.

I really, really wanted to like this place! But, it is just ok. I got the Poseidon sub with bacon. The bacon was half cooked. I feel pretty confident that it was the microwaveable type, but it was not microwaved before being placed on my sub. Therefore it wasn't warm or crispy like bacon should be. The chili was not good on it's own. May have been better on a hot dog. Also, I was provided stale crackers.

I use to go to Zithromax high school across the street from here in the 80's. I will tell you this place was the BOMB this was the hangout place. Today this is the worst place I have every purchased a submarine sandwich from for $9 damn dollars. The new owner should be ashamed of himself. I can't see him being there long at all that place sucks.

The meat is scarce he overpowered the sandwich which was a regular with lettuce 2 tomatoes and 2 cucumbers. Nasty no taste to the meat at all. The bread is terrible. Ughhh I'm so disappointed.

Would I try this place again NO! Would I recommend this place to anybody NO!!!!!!

Not like it use to be.

Poseidon on a roll is what it's supposed to be. I tried this place as a recommendation from a friend and needless to say, I'm pissed and Hangry. If I wanted a sandwich on sliced bread I would have went to my go to Bernstein deli. This right here is false advertisement. If you were out of rolls you should have called and said such I would have requested a refund. Honesty goes a very long way try it. I am so upset with this restaurant and my wasted money. The same thing for the turkey sandwich on sliced bread. I ordered via grubhub delivery so I couldn't check the order myself. Needless to say I won't be back

I remember when this place first opened its doors Wayback when. I was knee-high to a grasshopper and still just a Boy Scout. As I aged through my high school years, the visits to this were frequent. Then I left the area for the military, 25 years later returning to this area to find it still standing. Which in itself these days is incredibly noteworthy, or unbeatable! They have certainly proven themselves up against more traditional sandwich chain stores. The folks here provide a great meal with great flavor at a competitive price. While the sandwiches are standalone impressive, I highly recommend any one of the soups.

I absolutely love the pastrami here. Better than any pastrami I have had anywhere else. They also use Turano bread which is soft but with the perfect amount of crunch and chew to it. Been coming here for many years and can't find a sub place to beat it anywhere.
