4.5 stars?!!! 1 Budweiser + 1 bottle water = $12 and the place smells! Beer only place; not even margaritas. Too bad... would live to support the lical place, but not that much!

This is a cool and low key spot to Hang out with friends. They have karaoke and pool. I went with friends and we kept to ourselves. The server checked on us very often.

This place is nice! Obviously, being a beer bar, this place is really just for schmoozing with friends, playing a little pool, and a little foosball when they have it out, and just all around chillaxing. They've remodeled quite a bit, and the owner said he has plans to do more. I give this place 5 stars as a beer bar, and for being so friendly and clean.

Also, on Thursdays at around 5pm-6pm they grill meats; carne asada, sausages/hot dogs, what-have-you, and as long as you've come to buy a few beers the food is free!

As for reviewer Jay J., I think he should think more before he posts. Obviously, if this place was full of gangsters there would be LOTS of women. Durr!

I always seen this place driving on the 101 near 13th street. One day I stopped in. Everyone including the customers, bartenders & the owner was very hospitable. Every Thursday they have appetizers which were really good. They alternate between ceveiche, birria & carnitas. The bathrooms were very clean. The waitress's were very attractive and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. They play mostly Mexican music. The juke box plays some English music, but 95% Spanish. They have two pool tables & a foose ball table. There is always norteno trio's & mariachis coming in to play your favorite mexican songs. You don't need to be mexican to have a good time at this bar.

I have enjoyed this bar since the Fernandez brother's took over this establishment. Owners and the staff have always welcomed me with the most pleasant welcoming. The service is excellent beers always cold. Always a clean environment and yes the restrooms too. I can't think of anything negative to say other than no hard liquor. It has to be one of the best places regardless if you speak Spanish or not its just hard not to have a good time. Customers who come are good solid people and there's something for everyone to do here from pool, video games, darts, dancing or just socializing plus more. I haven't gone there recently but I think of all the years of services I owe them a great review.
