I had a package from Temu that has been at Melrose Park Illinois since March 8 and now it's March 20th and there has been no update I think someone there has stolen it since I haven't gotten it yet and it bullshit and sad you can't trust the people at Melrose post office and it had my grandson Easter in it and now I have nothing to give him

Several women at the counter are rude and unprofessional. The information I was given was incorrect. It is obvious the women working there hate their jobs and hate customers. Do not get a passport from this location. This is my second time dealing with this office and will be my last.

Lady working the front counter today 2/28 at about 9:45 A.M was incredibly rude and extremely unhelpful. Was also being very racist towards customers because they were speaking Spanish.

Probably the best experience I've had at a postal office! 3 employees, with no line and all were very kind helping.

The U.S. Postal delivery system is a disaster. Mail is routinely being stolen from mailboxes on street corners and checks are being fraudulently altered and cashed by the thieves. Very little is being done by the postal system to stop this crime wave. The monetary loss has fallen on the banks where the fraudulent checks are cashed or sometimes the victim takes the loss.

Went in today to discuss a delivery issue. Spoke with the supervisor, Dominique. She could not have been more helpful and kind.

Truly abysmal... had three consecutive fifteen minute appointments for passports. Admittedly arrive 4min late for first appointment. Postal worker refused to honor any of the three appointments. I work for a government agency and would never, nor would my manager allow me to, treat a fellow American this way.

This review is about Marieta. I hope I spelled her name correctly! Amazing lady who went above and beyond to help me process my daughter's Passport application. The night before I made copies of our ID's and Drivers License and the next day my husband realized he had not put his ID back in his wallet.

Marieta was beyond patient as my husband went back home to retrieve his ID. Getting a passport is exhausting and you have to make sure you have every document you need in place. I have gotten passports at other USPS offices and they are not as helpful.

This USPS office was very quiet and not busy at all. The other worker who was there was so polite and helpful as well as people kept coming in.

Thank you for your patience and kindness. Marieta, I appreciate you!!!!!! I wanted to give you a big hug!

Color me surprised that I am not only writing a review for the USPS, but it is positive.

I needed some stamps to have on hand to mail out the postcards I will be sending to my Yelp folks. This place was on the way to an off-site meeting, so I stopped in.

As I walked through the revolving door, I was immediately greeted in a very pleasant manner by a woman who was helping a gentlemen with a Priority envelope. She asked if she could help me with a request and what I was in need of. I said stamps and she directed me to the front counter, where I was again pleasantly greeted by the woman behind the counter. She asked how she could help me, I said I needed stamps and she proceeded to ask me what kind I wanted. She showed me the different types I could get and I made my choice. I was in and out in less than 5-7 minutes.

Both complimented on my outfit, which was cute by the way. And they both wished me a great day. Gotta say the customer service was crazy great for a government agency, especially the USPS. Didn't see that sh*t coming #colormesurprised #makinggovernmentagenciesniceagain

I have had a history of problems with this post office. Parking all four wheels of their truck on my lawn. (I was told by the driver "safety first"). Really? That issue was resolved. Now the carrier has thrown my mail in the bushes instead of my mailbox. This has to be one of the worst post offices. Hard to imagine how these people were hired and retained by the USPS. The U.S. mail service is a very disturbing far cry from what it used to be.
