Twin Peaks Dental is awesome! I researched to find a dentist in Longmont that had the tool in office to make the on-lays, caps, etc. while you wait because I didn't want to get a temporary one and then have to go back for a permanent one. They have this and is why I picked them initially.

Now, we just love our dental hygienist! She is the best - knows her stuff, does a great job and is really what I consider a friend now. We love talking "as much as we can" during my dental cleanings.

The dentists and dental techs/assistants are fun as well as super efficient at getting the jobs done, whatever they may be. They too know there stuff and explain things very well.

The office staff are great at their tasks as well as friendly and positive.

I love the music they play and think about it every time I am there - I need to ask them if it is a station I can dial into.

The office decor is warm, up-to-date and comfy. We live in Frederick and drive into Longmont to this office because it has become like family.

My family did not have a good experience at this practice and I would never recommend it. I believe they have a new dentist now, but we saw Dr. Toth.
A few annoyances that wouldn't have caused me to leave the practice, but worth mentioning: I saw a new hygienist every time I went for 3 years, they have constant turnover. Most appts we had to wait at least 15-20 (sometimes up to 30-45) minutes before we were seen. Their office manager was very abrupt and condescending.
The bad: We were urged to try Healthy Start by Dr Toth for our 7 year old, saying if it didn't work we would find other alternatives. The first stage wasn't working at all for him (he couldn't keep it in his mouth overnight) and they offered no solutions, instead telling us it was time for impressions for the 2nd stage. They billed our insurance for monthly appts we weren't going to and then wouldn't let us change the treatment plan to braces. Office manager was incredibly rude during this process.
Meanwhile, my husband had traditional braces. Dr. Toth said it would be 12-18 months. It took 3 full years. In the meantime, brackets and bands were frequently installed incorrectly and he had to go back constantly for a fix. His teeth still weren't perfect when he finally got them off but we were all ready to be DONE with this practice.
The only good thing about this practice was a hygienist named Marianna (I think?) who was super friendly and wonderful to work with.

To preface: I am a huge baby about going to the dentist. I literally dread it. The last time I went to the dentist (before visiting Twin Peaks Dental) was about 6 years ago. I know I neglected my teeth, but I couldn't bring myself to go. I've moved many times in the last 6 years as well, so I haven't had a regular dentist in years.

Fast Forward to about 2 weeks ago. I had a filling fall out that I left go for too long. Unfortunately, I wound up with an absolutely horrific toothache, very severe pain, & an a very obvious abscess in the tooth. My face was swollen & I was in a ton of pain. I found Twin Peaks on here, as I had just moved to Longmont, so it was close to home. My first visit was amazing; they considered it a free consultation. I met with Dr. Toth after a brief X-ray of the tooth. His suggestion was a root canal. For the interim (since that was a few weeks ago) he prescribed me some antibiotics to help clear the infection.

This morning at 11am. I had my appointment for the root canal. I was nervous, but the whole process went much more smoothly than I could have imagined. They made sure I was sufficiently numb & we're very accommodating of me being a big ball of nerves. They have an awesome machine called CERAC, which makes the crown out of porcelain right there in the office. That means there is no need for multiple visits. After the numbness wore off, I did have some pain. However, it's been very manageable.

I was also very pleasantly surprised when Dr. Toth called me this evening around 6 to make sure that I was doing alright.

Overall, the environment at the office, as well as the amazing staff, makes going to the dentist at Twin Peaks Dental an easy (& dare I say enjoyable) process. I will recommend them to any and everyone with nothing but positivity.

We have enjoyed our Family's dental visits over the last 3 years here. This is the dental office our children first had recieved cleanings and dental care. Our children look forward to coming everytime and they are ages 6 and 3! Dr. Butler is great with kids and so are the hygenists and entire staff! We recently all have been in and the measures they are taking during this pandemic make us feel at ease! We highly recommend this office!

First time reviewing on Yelp, but these folks are worth breaking my silence. Professional, easy-going, very clean, modern facilities, great music even: I highly recommend if you're in need of a new dentist or tired of your old one- these folks were top notch.
I had an initial visit with X-rays and cleaning alongside my 5 and 3yo daughters. They handled all of us so comfortably and caring. And no cavities (pat myself on back). We have to return for some further preventative deals in a couple weeks and I can say that I'm looking forward to the visit. Seriously. To the dentist.

While I liked the dentist I would not recommend this office. They do not stand behind their work. The cut their crowns in their office which sounds great but are not good quality. After a little more than 11 months of use my crown cracked and fell apart. I have moved to Texas and called the office for help. My insurance would not cover anything on the tooth because it was just done as far as they are concerned. I called and left a message for the manager to call back and they didn't. I called a second time and Joyce (the manager) told me they would not cover the tooth unless I flew back to CO. I offered to go to any dentist they might be associated with near Dallas, offered to send pictures by the dentist I saw here, and even have them pay the other dentist direct... Their response was flat out NO.

So, I'm out a 1000 dollars on a product I bought in good faith by as dentist that does not stand behind his work.... well unless... I fly back to CO, rent a car, miss a day of work, and pay the babysitter extra to take care of my kids because it will be a very long day.

So much for doing the right thing.

Update- The office called back and offered a compromise. They still have the crown detail. They are going to cut a new one and send it to me. I'll then have a local dentist attach it. I do feel the office has made and effort to help and I am grateful for their actions.

This review is for Laura, the hygienist. I observed her to get into a dental hygiene program. I also observed two other hygienists in Boulder, one that had been a hygienist for 15 years, and neither of them had the bedside manner of Laura. The office was immaculate. I always think of my observations with her prior to getting into school and hope I can find a similar situation when I enter the work force. I even went in to get my teeth cleaned by her before starting school. I highly recommend this office.

I took my daughter for orthodontic treatment in twin peaks dental end of 2015. She was 8 years old with crooked teeth. Dr. Brian Toth introduced the INVISALIGN BRACES to us and described all the benefits compared to traditional metal braces treatment. The treatment includes three stages:
First phase: Kids wear the habit-corrector at night while sleeping so that kids become used to wearing a device in his or her mouth every night.
Second Phase: Gives child a device customized and sized for child to wear every night.
Final Phase: The final treatment begins with a device that accommodates incoming adult teeth
At the second phase, when the real teeth treatment began, Dr.Brain Toth gave us something that does't fit at all. My daughter kept on complaining about the pain wearing the device. We brought her to twin peaks dental again and Dr.Brain toth said that the devices need to be modified. He took the device back and we got it after a month. There are some changes to it. But it doesn't fit again. We are so disappointed with this treatment. As we moved to another state, we think we should use other treatment. Now we found that Dr.Brian Toth charged lifetime insurance benefit of more than $2000 beside more than $1000 from us for something completely no working. The only thing my daughter got from his treatment is pain at night. It is the worst experience I had. I am really mad with them. If they don't address my issue, I will take legal action.

I visited Twin Peaks Dental based on good reviews I read here. I needed to have a temporary filling (from a recent root canal) replaced with a permanent filling. The office is beautiful and everyone seemed nice, but here is why I am not impressed, will not return, and can't recommend this office:
1.) My visit was on a Thursday late in the morning, perhaps most of their staff was at lunch. I had to wait awhile as Dr. Toth worked on someone else. I was offered water to drink and after asking how much longer I would have to wait, was told that it would be no more than 10 minutes. By then I had been there more than 30 minutes past the time of my appointment.
2.) Dr. Toth came in and began to work on my tooth, and the person who had been at the receptionist desk was assisting. I thought this was kind of odd.
3.) The receptionist/assistant began to squirt water in my mouth as the doctor drilled, and then belatedly laid a paper towel on my chest. Water was splashing up on my glasses. In other dental offices I have been offered goggles, or asked if I would like to remove my glasses. At the very least the towel has been secured around my neck prior to drilling with a clip. I had the impression they were really rushing to get my procedure done.
4.) The phosphoric acid that was used landed on my lip. No one seemed to notice. I rubbed it off after I left and tried to rinse it off in a drinking fountain on my way out of the building; however, it burned my lip. This has never happened to me at any dental practice. Even several days later the skin on my lip is tender, dry and beginning to flake.
5.) I had been wanting to find another dentist because the one I have been using is alone in her practice. It can often take awhile to get an appointment, which is why I checked out this practice. When I called for my appointment, someone told me they would send an email that I could use to request records from my current dentist and the orthodontist. I never received the email. Now I am glad because I will go back to my dentist. I don't care how long it takes to book an appointment!

I chose Twin Peaks Dental because they offered more than general dentistry such as crowns, implants and invisalign. I was taking a chance, as I just found them on the internet. I feel so lucky, I have never had such a good dentist. I see Dr. Mckay Butler. I was impressed with my first visit. Jennifer, ( I hope I have her name right) did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and she even reviewed flossing and care. I learned a few new things, and my teeth looked awesome. Dr Butler listened to all my concerns and came up with a good plan for me. My next visit was fillings. I became really anxious in the office. The staff (even the office manager) was reassuring. Dr Butler did a great job. I have always had problems getting numb. I have felt every dental procedure in my past. By the time I realized I should warn the staff, I was totally numb. I did not feel a thing. This was the first time that it wasn't a problem. The filling material used looks so nice compared to my old ones. Its smooth and I can't tell the difference between the filling and my tooth. Dr Butler used this special suction device in your mouth, and you don't feel like your drowning while he's at work. The little things make all the difference...Don't hesitate to go to this office, or Dr. Butler. I can't imagine going to the dentist gets any better.
