When I booked my initial appointment there had not been any reviews on Yelp but based on other sites I decided to give this DDS a try. I wish I had seen the other comment that was recently posted before I wasted my time on this dentist.

Something didn't feel right from the moment I checked-in. They kind of shoved the paperwork at me without being very "welcoming." During x-rays, the tech was friendly, but didn't seem to pay too much attention to details. Then, as I waited for the dr in the cleaning room, he was not personable at all. I'm not trying to make friends or anything, but I also do not expect to be treated like a number. He said no cavities, proceeded to pick at my teeth and then got up and said okay, the other guy will polish you. Ummm...ok....no checking my gums, no flossing...ok.

By this time I was a little nervous about the whole set-up of the place and of the cleanliness...my mouth felt more dirty than when I went in for the "teeth cleaning."

They automatically booked my appointment for my next cleaning. I called back the next day and cancelled. They said are you going to reschedule. I said no, I'm going to cancel.

There are so many dentists around...choose another!

When you walk in to the office it is very nice. They asked me to fill out paperwork for my girls and I did. The paper work was very cheap looking and not very good copies. After the paper work they called my daughter back to get x rays which were not digital. I went back with her for her cleaning and the operatory was filthy, I know it is close to holloween but the cobbwebs with dady long legs were not part of the decor. There was a dead fly in the xray room . Not to mention clutter everywhere. The instruments and trays they used look like from they were from the 70's. Then when the DR. came in to do the exam, he did not introduce himself to me , and took a quick look at the xrays and said no cavities and got up and walked out. Then the assistant took my other daughter and started her xrays and I just made an excuse that I had to leave. There is no way that I will go back. Its so dirty. They should really start doing some house cleaning there. I don't recommend it at all. If they don't care about how their office looks , then they wouldn't care about your teeth.

I have to agree with the other reviewers about things being outdated, cluttered and possibly not the cleanest (and very tightly squeezed in). The lady at the front desk and the assistants were friendly enough, but didn't quite seem as knowledgeable as I'd like. My husband, myself and my 2 children all tried this office. It wasn't a big deal for me as my teeth don't require much, but I still was less than impressed. However, my husband needed work and didn't like the answers he was getting from Dr. Ramsey. I asked about my youngest son being seen for his first dental appointment (he was 1). They told me that they'd reserve 10 mins at the end of my appointment to look at his teeth. Well, he "tried" to look in my son's mouth, but was unsuccessful, but didn't really try very hard. I was given the distinct impression that I wouldn't be charged for this because they couldn't do anything with him and no appointment had been scheduled for him. Not quite so. My oldest son went in a couple days later. They took him back, did their thing and sent him back out to me in the waiting room. They had HIM tell me that he needs braces! Really?! I had to go ask the front desk lady to explain things to me. She kept going back and forth to ask the dentist my questions that she didn't have the answers to. I'd get half-answers at best. It was a while ago, so my memory isn't perfect on this, but I believe he finally came out and begrudgingly answered a few things. Needless to say, we never went back. If a dentist is going to recommend a child have work like that done, they should call the parent back and explain the particulars. I did, however, appreciate how nice his staff was to my little one.

I agree with everything that has been said about this dentist. I tried for many months to give him the benefit of the doubt, but finally realized I wasn't getting the dental care I deserved or what other, more professional, dentists would offer. He talks constantly while working on a patient, but disappears after treatment without telling the patient the results of the examination. I had to catch him before he left the room to ask what he had found. His waiting time is outrageous; I would be the only patient in the office and would have to sit in the chair for at least 15 minutes waiting for him to appear. The staff was so-so. He had a big turnover in staff while I was his patient, so I think that speaks for itself. And, I agree that his equipment was dated and his office was dirty. I am now with a new dentist and know how a professional office should be.

I initially picked this dentist because the location was so close to my house. So I went for my first appointment, they did x rays and said I needed deep cleaning which I wasn't surprised with. I scheduled the appointment with the front desk and asked how much money it would cost. She said my insurance covered the clening but I should get the Antibiotic wash for $100.00 that it was very helpful. I left and then did some research about the antibiotic wash and decided it was a waste of money and I wouldn't get it. (I have had other deep cleanings without it). So I came in for my appointment checked in at the front desk. The lady said it would be $100.00. I said I decided not to get the Antibiotic wash and to just do the deep cleaning. She said Dr Ramsey would not do the deep cleaning unless I got the wash. I said that it was not a requirement for a deep cleaning and she said but he requires it. I then said well I'm leaving then and will find another Dentist that doesn't try to rip me off. Never went back.
