Custom Cabinets by Design

Today, I took a kitchen cabinet drawer to Michael at Custom Cabinets by Design for his evaluation. The drawer wasn't opening properly and the face of the drawer needed to be modified. Not only did Michael greet me with a smile, he gladly modified the drawer on the spot, while I waited. Michael made a custom vanity for our bathroom and we couldn't be happier with it. All of the prefabricated ones we looked at didn't quite fit the space or make the best use of the space. The end product is truly beautiful craftsmanship. Michael is very kind and helpful. He went out of his way to help us find the countertop stone we wanted, as well as the sink that would best fit. He and his son installed the vanity and everything went smoothly. I would use his services again!

I was looking to have custom vanities made for two bathrooms. I saw the reviews for this company and decided to contact them. Michael was very communicative and quickly grasped what I wanted. He ultimately built cabinets for me that many other shops wanted to part of due to the wood species and detail. They are VERY well built and beautiful. Price wasn't cheap the the built quality and material made for an excellent value. Highly recommend this company.

Recently, I ordered a couple of spice drawer inserts for a reorganization project. The pieces were too wide to fit Into the drawer so they needed to be modified. You would think it would be easy to find someone with a table saw to do a quick cut but I found that wasn't the case. I found Custom Cabinets through Yelp and crossed my fingers that they would be able to assist. They were very nice and cut the inserts so they would fit properly into my drawer. The best part is that they didn't even charge me!

Spoke to Michael about doing some built-in cabinets and shelving to the left and right hand side of our fireplace. He was initially very quick to respond, and was able to give us a quote via text based off of the dimensions and some pictures we showed him. We tried to follow up with him to give him a more personal design and more accurate quote and had a very difficult time getting him to respond to us. We texted him multiple times with no return text or call back. After a week or two, he got back to us and told us he was really busy and would give us another quote for the particular design we wanted by the weekend. This was a couple days ago and we have yet to hear back from him. Due to the poor communication and follow up we will be going through another company.

Michael was absolutely wonderful to work with. I had a very tight space to fit a vanity. There was plumbing coming out of the wall limiting the space for the drawers. This vanity was as custom as it comes. Very specific measurements had to be met. He built a quality cabinet and finished with a custom color he mixed with an epoxy to provide a beautiful and durable finish. He also fabricated the marble top and installed everything perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Michael did a beautiful job with my cabinets. He sanded down our oak stained cabinets, and repainted them white with stainless steel hardware. We had a water leak under our sink. He rebuilt our cabinet frames under our sink as well. Michael did quite a bit of work for me & from start to finish it took about 3 weeks.

I called Michael, who is a very nice person, to request a quote for a built-in desk at my home. He arrived with his Son, took measurements, and informed me he would let me know an estimate and that we could go from there.

No call back or text whatsoever. Not really sure why, it seems like others have had better luck.

We Found Michael through great reviews and they were spot on. We had michael build and install custom cabinets for our kitchen. His work was impressive. Michael designed, created and installed our cabinets within a 2 month period. I showed him a picture of a spice cabinet that I wanted and Michael created a better version. He paid attention to every detail and made suggestions that I may have missed. He went beyond the scope of the job by installing our crown moulding. I can not compliment Michael enough and will definitely use him for any cabinet work I need in the future.
