After subpar trips to other wineries, I didn't know what to expect going here. I was very surprised and delighted. The drive is long, but worthwhile if you make a day trip out of it. The outside of the vineyard itself is really pretty - and this was on opening day when nothing was really bloom yet. Inside was just as nice - everything is clearly labeled and the room is well-organized and clean. There was even a winery dog running around with a cute grape-patterned kerchief.
Since we went on opening day, the winery was free and packed. They still ran a tight ship when it came to tasting. Usually for $10, you get to sample 5 of the 10 tasting wines. If you are there with a friend or significant other, they recommend splitting the list so you can try a little of everything. We got the run down of the wines first, then sampled them all. Pours were exactly one ounce - this was particularly nice to know in advance since some of the wineries I've been to have been incredibly inconsistent about how much wine you get - sometimes you get barely a taste and sometimes you get almost a glass. They also had a huge plate of their local cheese set out for sampling. All prices are very fair. And we got to keep the glasses!
I do have to note that their specialty dessert wines come in lighthouse-shaped bottles. So touristy, yet the perfect touch to a great selection.
I will be back when summer finally shows up and we can enjoy a bottle outside in the beautiful vineyard.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 5, 2023
This is an adorable little vineyard. We had planned to come here prior to our trip. There's an outdoor area out front and back. Inside the little house there are gifts and wine bottles, etc to purchase. In the back is where the wine tasting is. My dad did a wine tasting and I did a mimosa. You get to keep your souvenir glass with the wine tasting. There's the outside area that's covered in case of rainy days. The grape vines are behind you. Cute and cozy vineyard. Not sure if they do events but would be wedding perfect scenery.

Some of our favorite wines ever! We recently came back here for the first time in YEARS and it's just as perfect as we remembered. It was a rainy Saturday and still pretty busy! Plenty of outdoor seating with tables and fire pits. They have a huge selection and a distillery. We opted to try their gin lemonade fizz that they sell canned - so good! Our favorite wine is their lighthouse wines. The bottles are gorgeous and they are some of our favorites we've ever tried!

I ordered a cup of white wine, a spindrift, and a lobster roll on gluten-free bread. The lobster rolls from Truro Vineyards happen to be some of my favorites. The gluten-free bun is light and airy, the lobster is cooked well, and the ratio of lobster to bread and mayo is perfect. The vineyard allows dogs and we take our group takes our dogs almost every time. The food comes separately from food trucks, so the waitresses who take your drink orders only know about their drink selections. You need to use the QR code to order food. I've never had anything bad to say about Truro Vineyards and honestly look forward to every visit. It's like a tradition that we never stray from. Sometimes they have someone come who shucks oysters. I look forward to my next visit in August.

The table was way too small and I had no idea how they would expect to fit three people at a table that small. It was crazy. The third chair didn't even really fit in the mix, so it was just forced there. They offered us a table at the back, but we couldn't order a wine taster there.
I ordered the gluten-free cheeseburger with onion jam and a drink called the sour patch. I was disappointed to learn that the tacos weren't gluten-free even though they were made on corn tortillas which was interesting. The food was delicious and everyone there was friendly. The food did come quickly too. Overall it was an ok experience.Aug 29, 2021Previous reviewEvery time I come here my experience seems to only get better. I really enjoyed the food and everything is made really well. The staff is also very friendly and I really hope to come here again before I'm due back in NY.
Aug 21, 2021Previous reviewI've been to The Vinyard only a couple of times, and I enjoy the food. There isn't a lot on the menu but the food that they do have is really good. Their wine comes straight from the vineyards surrounding the restaurant, and the food comes from their truck. In the past, I have tried the tacos, but today, I had the burger with their onion jam, which is very good. The way that the onions were cooked and placed on the burger was so good, that it didn't even need your classic burger condiments. If you go to their store, you will see they have a nice wine selection, and they have homemade spreads, alongside some other cute things. The gluten-free bun was also delicious.

$18 (including tax and tip) for 6 different tastings was a decent bargain. Service was quick and you can also order food after scanning their QR code. It is mostly outdoor seating which was nice during labor day weekend when the weather was good/on warmer side. There is a large wine barrel on a stand which was cool to see.

Beautiful space and the perfect place to stop for a cocktail or glass of wine when on the lower cape! I have lived on the Cape for a huge part of my life and just finally made it here at age 30. We stumbled upon Truro Vineyards when they happened to be having a gorgeous Christmas market, which made the experience super fun, but also not exactly what we expected. Due to the event, they weren't doing tastings so we didn't get the experience we hoped for, but still had a blast.
I tried their M Blend, which was nice, but extremely expensive at $15 a glass. They also weren't offering bottles to share, which we would have preferred to do. I will absolutely come back next time I am on Cape to try more wines!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mar 14, 2023
I went there in September and I loved it. Such a great experience. My family and I did a wine tasting. This is such a lovely vineyard to visit. I tried their sweet wines. I was satisfied. After wine tasting, you can keep a glass. They have a store where you can purchase a bottle or bottles of wine or anything you might need for it. I got a bottle of wine that I liked called "Cranberry Red." It also has a unique shape of the bottle.

I've been coming to Truro Vineyards for years and it's always one of my favorite spots to bring folks on the Cape. Their wine tastings and wine are great and the cranberry red is a unique treat for folks from out of the area. In the summer, they usually have a great food truck going with burgers, hot dogs and other summer staples. This was one of the first venues we visited after the lock downs since seating is outdoors and there's a lot of spacing in the set up, which was even the case before COVID. It's a nice relaxing place.
You can now make reservations in advance online but apparently not same day reservations (I tried last week and couldn't do it so we just showed up and I suppose it was early enough in the season that it wasn't an issue). If you don't have a reservation, be prepared to wait but you can walk the grounds or check out the amazing store Atlantic Spice just down the road which is a destination itself for spices and tons of hard to find kitchen items. They also have a number of great hostess gifts and specialty foods.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 28, 2022
We made this the first stop on our Truro adventure. Tastings were $15 for 5 samples, and each was excellent. The young lady who poured was delightful and a good source of information about the wines and the region. She correctly steered us to the beach we had visited in 2019. The tasting area was a treat for the eye, and we enjoyed seeing the dogs who were welcomed here.
