We contacted Tritan Plumbing because of clogged commode. Found out we had a collapsed sewer line that needed to be replaced. They gave a quote and the job was to start in 3 days. For the next 14 days we were told they would be here between 330 and 4 and everyday they were a no show. we we talked to the owner they offered us a $200 inconvenience fee. This is after having to find a place to go to the bathroom, shower, do laundry and eating every meal off of paper plates, cups and with plastic ware. Horrible inconvenienc! We found out later a job they had previously done was done incorrectl.

Wish I could give them no star. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. I had a second bedroom bathroom leak and they gave me an estimate that was double than one other plumbing company that I had called. However, as I was new to the area and they came with recommendation from a friend's friend, I decided to try them out. Paid them an advance of 50% ($1600) and the technician, Mickey said that he will start the work right away. However, when he finally showed up and just broke one tile in the bathroom, he said that additional work is required and they sent me another company which quoted me another thousands of dollar before Tritan could even start the work. Spoke to Sarah multiple times and every time I was told that I have to get this done (which wasnt told to me while signing the contract and I was assured that there won't be additional work and the cost will not increase). I filed a BBB complaint and they didnt even bother to respond to BBB. please DON'T do business with them and NEVER EVER GIVE ANY ADVANCE. Once they have the advance, they will change the work and the cost.

It's August 17th, 2023 today. I have been calling Tritan Plumbing for 2 weeks. When I finally did talk to someone, they told me someone would come out to see what went wrong. I had my toilet rebuilt from the inside on July 29th, 2023. It is leaking and they are not returning my calls. I paid $590 for original work, and can't get them to come back to work on my toilet.

Looked me in the eye and lied to my face.
Our kitchen faucet had a small leak, so we asked Tritan to come check it out. The plumber told me the leak was in the hose and that we needed to replace the entire sink for $700-$800. I was surprised and specifically asked if it was possible to simply replace the hose. The plumber told me a flat out lie: he said manufacturers don't make/sell hoses separately and repeated we needed an entirely new faucet.
When I told him I'd have to think about it, the plumber suddenly remembered they did have a hose that might work. He offered to replace just the hose for $400. I was suspicious by then and declined further service, so Tritan charged $80 for the consultation and left.
After a two minute Google search, I discovered that it's very easy to buy and install a replacement faucet hose (i.e., Tritan had lied in response to my direct question). I have used Tritan for well over a decade for multiple jobs at my home. In January of 2023 I contacted them for a new water heater which required a $1500 deposit by me through PayPal, I sent the payment along and then had to cancel the job as a family issue came up. I contacted Sarah immediately that same evening and she indicated that the deposit had already been sent along to the supplier and she would work on getting it back for me. i though nothing of it as I had been a client of Tritan for over a decade after a few weeks went by with no response back from anyone I reached out to Sarah and received a text message back apologizing for the length of time it has taken but they had some family issues on their end come up so I waited again. hearing nothing for a few more weeks I followed up with multiple calls and texts to Sarah. Again received another text from her indicated that her or Mickey would be contacting me and nothing. I again reached out and received another text message that I would be contacted by Sarah after she had dropped her son of at a sporting event, again no call. It is now June approximately 5 months since this all began and I have still not received a call or my money back. I then decided to take a trip to their office in Plainfield and to my surprise the office was vacant with a few signs reserving parking for Mickey, I then went into a neighboring company at the address from their web site and the guys there said they have not seen anyone coming or going from the Tritan office. I them sent another text on June 14, 2023 to Sarah indicating that I was at their office to discuss my refund and still no reply back to call or text. I have used Tritan for a number of jobs over the last decade and to be treated like this is absolutely ridicules. I know that the rule is get multiple bids for a job and to my fault I threw that rule out the window due to what I thought was a great working relationship with Mickey, Sarah and the company....Lesson learned on my part, as of this typing on June 19, 2023 I have still not received any sort of contact back from my last text message to Sarah....They had no issue taking my $1500 deposit back in January, I hope you all at Tritan enjoyed it, my wife and I have been out that money sine January for no reason at all other than you all just took it, no explanation, no curtesy of a phone call...As I said I hope you all used that money for something nice because for our upcoming jobs, Tritan will NOT be receiving a call

If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. I REFERRED THEM to my neighbor....he needed a water heater in Schaumburg, and so did his daughter in Roselle. When my neighbor called, someone told him they didn't service our area. When I called Tritan to question this (as they had serviced me in Schaumburg years ago), the woman on the phone got nasty and said "what do want from me? We don't service your area anymore." When I asked her why, she said it was "too far to travel" - I said "for two referrals and for future repeat business"? She said "Yep" THEN HUNG UP ON ME.

You called back ! Started the conversation off extremely high energy’ you asked if we serviced this area. We explained we do not but what’s going on since it was the second call that day for this area. You had explained Mickey put a heater in for you 6-7 years ago ! We explained that if that was the case we could double check if we could service that area. As an exception ! No one spoke to you indifferent i apologize you felt that way! I did replay the call this am! I am actually mickeys wife & my manger spoke to you as well! Unfortunately the conversation did start off not so happy on your end , i do wish we had the opportunity to change that. As you stated if you do not want the service just let me know & that is not correct i assured you !
Being as it’s a referral we would be able to look into it! Unfortunately if there was a misunderstanding on my part on how you ended that conversation i apologize! You had stated it should not be this hard & truly it was not we could have for them booked for heater installation! We have serviced out of our area many times ! we try our best to be accommodating during covid & all! Frustrations were high on your end i understand why! It was hard to speak through. The conversation to make it priority preference that we would make an exception & that a lot has changed in 6-7 years. We have a new location & all! My neighbor and I chose Tritan Plumbing from three candidates to fix our flooding with a backyard draining system. They installed underground 180 ft of pipe underground tied to city storm drainage in November 2020. In December 2020, we got a rainfall heavy enough to flood the backyard and found that the system did not drain. After numerous contacts over the past year and a half requesting Tritan Plumbing fix the problem, they have not so much as made a phone call to us. I would recommend Tritan Plumbing for any job under any circumstance. It's a shame a company is allowed to continue to do business in this manner.

We had them come out to fix our pipe running out to the garden hose, which originally went fine. However, a year later, the pipe that they had previously repaired burst. We called them, left numerous messages, emails, and texts. No response. This is a shady business. They do not stand behind their shorty work.

We did give 4-5 options on Replacing it & repiping to our professional recommendation to have long term solid no hassle no worry free.
Extended warranty & er valve on top of much more !
