Trappers Chicken BBQ

Their site said they were open--we were so excited to try the smoked chicken. Drove by (towing a travel trailer) and they were closed. So disappointed.

Best chicken BBQ I ever had. They also cook superb ribs and pulled pork. There cowboy beans are absolutely delicious. They offer quite a few different sides for the dinners or you can just buy the meat. There's soda pop and water available to purchase. They have picnic tables available to eat at if you choose. I definitely recommend this barbecue if you get there in time to buy it!! They sell out fast. Worth the wait in line

Trappers has a good chicken BBQ so I thought I would use them to cater a company event. I stressed to them how important it was to be on time otherwise it cost the company $100 per hr for each person late back to work. They showed up a hour late with 400 plus people in line waiting for food.
I called them the next day to express my concerns and couldn't even get a apology.
They got their money and didn't care.

Love the chicken! Live in Buffalo, camp in Hinsdale, and stop very chance I get! If you like others around WNY give them a try. Every type has a flavor all their own...

A really great roadside bbq, sells out pretty quickly on nice days. Wonderful bbq smell! Nice outdoor seating area, friendly server. The chicken and ribs are both fantastic! The sides are just fillers, likely store bought vs homemade, not great but not bad. The sides are optional but you can also just pick up the bbq and pair it with your own sides for an at home bbq.

We went there on Mother's Day and it was one of the best chicken barbecues I ever had. The chicken was done just right and the potato salad was out of this world. I will go there again!

I absolutely love the chicken bbq. I really think it is the best I have ever tasted because the white meat even remains tender. The only concern I have is that I do not care at all for the sides. The salads come out of a jug and I won't even buy that kind of salad to cut corners at home. Also, the baked beans taste like they are right out of a can. If they could change their menu to reflect the quality of the chicken, it would be the most amazing chicken bbq this side of the Mississippi. Please reconsider your sides and if you can't make the salads, just add salt potatoes and Bush beans or something that doesn't taste so fake.
