Their Jasmine float is the best.

Great price for all their fries.
The popcorn chicken portion is okay for what they charge for.

The service can improve but their drinks are a lot better compare to the other boba shops.

You know an establishment is really cheap when the hot temp outside is the same as inside. 0.o EEK! We came on a Friday at 1130 and it was already a scorcher at almost 90. We hurried inside expecting to be blasted by the cool ac but was instead met by tepid disappointment. I looked around for the thermostat and it read 87. Double EEK!!

We were going to high tail it outta there but had to wait around for the fried calamari. In the past I remembered it being surprisingly good. However, I should've kept the past buried. These calamari were over fried and chewy. =( Although when we asked for extra spicey, they definitely delivered on that end.

*sigh, now I remember why I stopped going here. They serve fructose laced drinks paired with semi-tolerable service. Never again!

      Mankey here!

3.5 stars for the food and price. 4 stars for service.

The service was great. Friendly and attentive.

The food was okay to pretty good. I tried the spring rolls and nem noung rolls. The ones from Brodard and Nem were better. The dipping sauce was also not as good as Brodard's and Nem's.

Some of the other food items on the menu were overpriced. They had alcohol on the menu.

The drinks were pretty good. I had the fruit tea.

YAAASSSSSSS NEW YORKER SLAYYYYY!!!!!!!! I always always come here for a quick stop by to get the New Yorker Tea. This is one of the best shaken teas you can get in Socal. SOO GOOOOOODDD!!!!!!

      FOOD:
To be honest, I never dare try any other flavor besides the New Yorker. I tried it once for my first time and it got me HOOKED!! The fact that it's so cheap and so delish I am obsessed.
It's this sweet shaken tea and inside, I think there's bits of strawberry, basil seeds, coconut jelly, and a bunch of other things that I can't quite make out but it worked! I just wished they had MORE BASIL SEEDS!!! Because I'm a big fan of basil seeds. SO YUMMY! All my family loves this drink too because it's so refreshing. I always order a Large New Yorker + Boba + Light ice and this is literally my go-to drink if I am ever craving to drink something sweet. I honestly love it.
      I'd rate this drink a 9.7/10

      PRICING:
I forgot how much I paid for mine but without boba, I think I large New Yorker is around $4, which isn't too bad. I wouldn't get the small size because I think you just add a couple cents more for a large size and the it's so much bigger and better. I'd order like 3 of it. Ask for a stamp card too so that you can get yourself a free drink, or a free NEW YORKER!!!!!

      SEATING:
OMG I love the seating inside because it's so spacious, perfect to hang out with friends, have a good catch-up sesh, or to do homework.

      ATMOSPHERE:
It's really peaceful and quiet in there I love it. I don't feel disturbed or bothered when I'm inside.

Overall, I'd rate this teahouse a 9.8/10. I always come by for a quick drink. SUPER YUMMY I recommend! Try the New Yorker you won't be disappointed. BUT MORE BASIL SEEDS PLEASE!

LARGE NEW YORKER! LIGHT ICE AND BOBA!! THE BEST!

I will come here to get two things: the New Yorker and the rice paper salad. The NYer is a peach and lychee flavored black tea with lychee jelly and basil seeds. It's not overly sweet. I've tried a few of their other drinks, but haven't found one that I really love. The rice paper salad is bomb! It's just strips of rice paper, tossed with beef jerky, mango slices, crispy onions, quail eggs, and what I'm guessing is some kind of fish sauce mixture. All I know is that it's very yummy. It would definitely be a dish that pairs well with beer because it's slightly salty and spicy.

The actual place itself is pretty cool. They added a new table with bar stools so you can sit and talk. It isn't a place I would recommend for people to come study at. They get a lot of foot traffic and the noise from the blenders is pretty distracting.

Fresh tasting and they can customize special requests. Great how they have food options, too!

Only down side is that they do the Asian shop hours. What I mean by that is... I was sitting there with a few friends on a Friday night and they said they close at 11pm. As it reached 10, they were preparing to close. By 10:30, they asked everyone to leave to close shop since it was slow. My friends and I sat in our car and chatted some more. 10 minutes later, we see a group of 8 kids walking towards the entrance. Obviously the hours of operation on the door said 11pm but sorry kids! They're closed

Yo, so I'm never coming back

      1. Walked in and there were two girls in the back, glaring at me as I waltz towards the cash register. One girl greeted me friendly while the other kept staring ... At least smile? C: it's not that hard

      2. Took them 25-30 minutes to cook popcorn chicken and it comes out pink lolol #deuces

I like coming here for the variety and for the "street food" they offer on their menu. Service is a hit or miss like most Vietnamese restaurants, so bring your patience and appetite. You might have to flag the servers down often to get the things you want.

Crispy Rice: I love ordering their crispy rice entrees. I've ordered it with their shaken beef, pork sung and Chinese sausage, and their braised pork. The chewy/crunchiness of the rice and the salty proteins make this one of my favorites.

Thai hot pot: I've had this a few times and won't say that it's the best, but it's decent to go with all their other options. Their broth is tasty, but nothing to write home about. I don't think I'd order this as my main entree, but like sharing it with my friends so I can eat other things too.

Stir fried corn with shrimp - oh my! I couldn't stop eating this dish! This reminds me of the chewy corn I had in Vietnam.

I've ordered their drinks and snacks next door too. The fried golden fish balls are my favorite snacks!

I think the reason I keep coming back to this restaurant is the fact that they have so many options that remind me of food my parents have made. They also have menu options that you don't find at other Vietnamese restaurants.

Solid boba tea, weirdly delicious food, and free wifi, what more can you ask for?
I've been going here for years and the quality is still top notch. They have a lot of variety in their menu, but they do it all very well, which separates them from all the other boba shops. I also love that they offer golden fish balls. I would eat this all day if I could.

Stop being cheap and take better care of your employees!

I went in today and this place was like an OVEN! The costumers were sweating and kept saying it was "hot in here". One customer told me that she was so hot and had to stand next to where the kept the macaroons to be cooler.

I noticed that the poor employees were sweating and SWEAT came down on the employee's forehead.

I believe this is a violation of the health and safety code. Man I feel bad for the employees. I had to write this review
