Toys R Us. It's all in the name. They have toys here i haven't even seen or imagined. They have it all. From old toys we grew up with ( hot wheels ) to new one. All the Marvel comics characters. It looks like they are gearing up for Christmas already.
As soon as I walked in someone greeted me. So service seems great here. It wasn't packed due to that it's not a restaurant here in Midland. And that it's a Wednesday. Lots of baby stuff and toys. But I headed to the toys. On a mission. Something fast for my boss' 3 year old son. It seemed simple. A toy. What kid doesn't like toys. Seemed simple enough. But then you get to the toy aisles and it's an endless amount of toys to look at. Trying to be fast. You start to notice that this can be an all day event. Not knowing what you are looking for.

They didn't have many people working. Not that they need a lot today. At least I had someone to ask questions. Their was a man there who told where the main stuff was at. So that was good. It seemed that most of the help was in the infant area.

After looking around and narrowing toys down from young child, chocking hazards. And age appropriate toys. I chose something safe and loud. Yes loud. Of course a police car with a loud siren. I even tested it out, to make sure the batteries wouldn't die and it was the loudest. This car has flashing lights and it talks. But the best thing it has a simple remote control. You push a button and it goes forward. This was perfect. The kid will love it and I'll get brownie points. Until the kid drives my boss insane with the siren. I guess he should have approved that last vacation day. I was also going to add the Fire truck. But he's not that bad. I didn't want him to think I was doing it intentionally.

I suggest if you don't want to spend too much money don't bring your kid. It's a kids dream to go here. So don't deny them that. There is something for everyone. Even the big kids. Like me. The price is comparable to everywhere else. Somethings are cheaper, some a little bit more. But the selection is worth coming here. This place will make kid out of any adult. It will amaze you on the what the toys are able to do now. And don't wait till the last minute.

Definitely will be back again. I'll be needing some toys for "Toy for Tots" which is coming up soon. Every kid deserves a toy for Christmas.

We regularly visit this store. We have small children and there are no other toy stores in the area. The staff is consisted of disrespectful millennials. There was only one young girl working in the whole store last night. She had an attitude and was trying to overcharge us. If we had another option for toys, we would take it.

I've been to this toys r us once. It was during Christmas time I was buying for a family member. I use to love toys r us as a kid but seldom go. They do have anything a child could wish for in the toy department but I think their kind of pricey.

This is the only Toy's R Us in the Midland/Odessa area. It is a decent size. The workers and staff are friendly. All the times I visited there, the staff will help you find what you need.
