Maureen E.Middleton, WI97458Sep 8, 2022First to ReviewIf you want your 12 month lease to me nothing and have your run go from $75 in March to $115 in October and then to be threatened that they are going to tow your new travel trailer along with your cargo trailer if it's not moved by the end of September. Ironically this comes when the owner of the facility needs more money because she's building a house right on the property. That way if you chop our lease up you can bring somebody in at a higher rate.
We have paid our lease on time every month. We now have threats that if we don't get out our rent will go up massively. What kind of person owns a business and treats people like this? My husband is out of the country, I am a senior and I have no one to move this trailer. We also were told that we had to re-register The trailer in California( After I had been sitting for months in the parking lot), when we are residence of both states at this time. Our primary home is in Florida and we have registered it recently there. So now we're supposed to Pay to re-register within a few months of paying registration, when it's not required by law? Think long and hard about who you rent from and the professionalism, the experience and whether or not you want your rent to just keeps going up every 5 to 6 months! If anyone has any ideas for storage please get back to me or if if you want to help me move it before the end of September that would help too. Simply unbelievable. We've had 38 moves in seven states and have never had any issues like this!!

I am so sorry that we could not keep you happy Maureen. However, as some of you reading this review may know, there are certain individuals that are comfortable with the status quo even though they are unhappy, and do not want to go by the rules that have been established for all. Toyon Smart Storage has never executed a term lease, all rentals are month-to-month. Your rent increase was given with the notice of termination of our rental agreement and is to incentivize you to seek storage accommodations where you will hopefully be happier, and rules may not be so closely imposed. Our rules are to protect our facility and our tenant belongings. Hoping those reading these comments understand as we take pride in quality customer service.

Ill make the past due today and ill pay this month on Tuesday or Wednesday. So when i stated someone n tried to break into my unit you. Didn't apologize nor did you check cctv footage why ?? I also stated people stay there at night. You sent a mass email stating ppl are coming at night and ppl can't come after 10pm ive got all email replies to back all of this donna whitaker. Ill make the past due today and thie month on Tuesday or wed next week. Ill be moving this month definitely.

Dear Great (aka Mohammed), Toyon Smart Storage has Rules and Regulations in place so that each and every tenant must comply with the same set of rules. Unfortunately those who do not comply, regardless of ethnicity, are asked to vacate. I am here and your stuff is here. Just let me know 24 hours in advance, bring your payments current, and it would be great if you could come get your belongings.
Nov 22, 2022Previous reviewDont trust donna whitaker is a racist and is holding my stuff hostage i have to give 24 hours notice and she has put up my rate. I told her someone tried breaking into my unit she didn't say sorry or check cctv. As am the wromy color, i wrote review on her facebook page either they blocked me or deleted page. Don't trust them at all they are crooks. She plays victim on her phone as she knows its being recorded I can prove this all ask her to play conversation of her and i. Smh worse business in the universe, let's all do a class action law suit against her business
