Tonettes Cakes are awesome!!!!
She made a Giants cake for my husbands 40th bday that was not only amazing looking, but really tasty as well! She handmade her fondant which was so good everyone ate it and didn't just peel it off.
Tonette herself is very sweet and professional, and very easy to get a hold of.
I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a cake :)

DO NOT ORDER FROM HER. SHE WILL SCREW YOU OVER LIKE SHE DID TO ME. Ordered my son's birthday cake 5 days before his birthday. Talked to who ever receives calls and takes orders for Tonetttes cakes. She agreed to the order and we agreed on a price. She said she could deliver if I paid her $20 extra to which I agreed as well since my work schedule didn't permit me to go pick up the cake on his birthday. I even checked if everything was going as per schedule the day before delivery and she said everything was good. She was supposed to deliver at 4:30 pm on his birthday and till 5:00 pm she didn't show up and I started worrying. Tried calling and texting her but got no response. Finally at 5:30 she messaged saying all of a sudden she had corona in 1 day so she couldn't make and deliver the cake for my FOUR YEAR OLD SON. SHAME ON HER. I've attached the screenshot of our conversation too.

Bad customer service called her up a month before my sons first birthday eve thing was good until

She called me the day before my birthday party to tell me she wasn't making my cake no more and ignored all my calls and massages for a week before the birthday she not do be trusted with making cakes you well never no if you are really gonna receive one I'm leaving this review so what happen to me don't happen to someone else from this lady she ruined my sons birthday

SO UPSET! She has done my cakes before and they were good. Recently, another customer recently told me not to use her because Tonette had bailed on her not once But TWICE! I said "OH she won't on me!" HELL was I wrong! 2 days before my daughters baby shower, she text me that she was sorry but she is moving and her date book was in a box and she forgot about my cake! EVEN THOUGH on Sunday we were texting back and forth about the size and flavor! I even sent her a text confirming the cake on Tuesday and yesterday..she just answered this morning! Now I am stuck trying to find some to make her a cake on such short notice! Save yourself the stress and headache!

I contacted Tonette for my brother's wedding. The reviews were great, the price was great, she was nice and courteous and she was easy to get a hold of. So we settled on a 3 tier red velvet cake with 2 flat sheets of fruit chantily cake, written clearly on the order form (which we both got copies of) and with a $100 deposit. She also noted on the order form that she will provide a wedding cake stand.

HOWEVER on the actual wedding day it went horribly wrong. When I met her after she delivered the cake, I foolishly trusted that she was honest on her part and provided what we had agreed on without checking on the cakes. So I foolishly gave her the rest of the money ($200) and she just took the money and ran, no word on the mess she left us. I did not realize the horrible mistake until it was time for the bride and groom to cut the cake and for the servers to serve the rest of the flat sheet cake. It was NOT on the wedding cake stand she had promised which should've been the first clue. My brother and sister in law was expecting a red velvet because that was what my brother really liked during her cake tasting. BUT to our horror, as they were cutting the cake, in front of the WHOLE wedding party, the cake was NOT red velvet at all. They immediately knew it too but didn't want to ruin the wedding so just went along with it. So I went back to the kitchen to see the rest of the cakes and the servers showed me what we had received a 3 tier fruit chantily cake and 2 flat sheet cakes CLEARLY from Costco that STILL had "Happy Birthday" designs AND still wrapped in the Costco boxes. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it because I didn't want to ruin the wedding even though I knew the guests clearly saw that it was a kid's birthday party cake from the pieces that they received.

So the next day, I message Tonette of her mistakes and demanded a refund. She apologized and made up an excuse that she had that written down on her order form (LIES!). She gave NO explanation for the Costco cakes. She pleaded for me to meet her half way with the refund, so I agreed on the $200 refund instead of the full $300 refund. She agreed to send me the refund in the mail because I was busy and not able to meet her at her home in Sanger. She says she would put the "check" in the mail the next day. 7 days later, NO REFUND received, so I messaged her again. No response. 3 additional days later, I messaged her again that I have not received the refund and will take legal action if I don't hear from her soon. She apologized and said she would send it on Monday. (So obviously she lied about sending it in the first place). It is now almost a MONTH later, still no refund. So I messaged her that this is dragging on long enough, I will meet her for my refund instead of waiting for her. She finally responded back and said the check she had sent was returned to her (LIES! The address I gave her is 100% correct). So she finally agreed to meet just last week almost a MONTH from the wedding date. I was still busy, so I sent my sister in law to meet her on that day at 10am. That morning, my sister in law called her up to confirm and Tonette delayed it until 12pm because she had forgotten and needed to go to the bank to get the cash.

CONCLUSION: DO NOT USE HER SERVICES. SHE MAY BE CHEAP BUT THERE'S A REASON WHY SHE'S CHEAP. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES, ALWAYS CHECK ON YOUR DELIVERED PRODUCTS!

I contacted Tonette for my grandson's 2nd birthday cake. I wanted something unique to celebrate his birthday ,not just a grocery store cake .
She did an outstanding job !! The attention to detail was amazing . She certainly has a artistic gift .
The cake was delicious ! Very moist with cream cheese filling .
She was reasonably priced and very accomadating .
A added surprise was the 12 cupcakes she made for him too ! It worked out great for the guests at the party .
I will definitely use Tonette again for future birthday's .

I highly recommend her to everyone that is looking for a beautiful and delicious cake! She made my 3 sons their birthday cakes in October and we loved everyone of them. Tonette her self is amazing and will go above and beyond to meet your expectations!

I recommend Tonettes to all my friends and co-workers looking for a cake for that special occasion. She bakes an awesome cake for a delicious price. Her buttercream are my favorite because they are perfect. Her designs are executed beautifully and you can see the passion for her gift in every order.
