I feel like people don't give this place enough credit. The food is amazing and affordable, not to mention they cook in front of you for an overall great experience. I have been going for years and not once have I had a bad thing to say about it. The cooks are super nice and the service is great. Totally recommend for a local place to eat with family and friends! More the merrier!

Food was fresh and was made fast for to go order. Everything was packaged up good. Plenty of included soy sauce and chop sticks.

They don't serve pink sauce. Huge pink sauce guy here. I won't be returning bc of it. Food was great otherwise.

I ordered this nice meal about an hour ago. When I received it it was luke warm, and the steak was dry and like cardboard. I didn't want to eat it . I did not take it home and Ms. Gen / Jin at the register said I had to pay for it. I will not be back and learned being patient and courteous is not always the proper thing to do! At this business money is more important than customer service and satisfaction!
My waiter was very good but had no control over the cook. I tipped him $5 for his efforts.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael T.Bossier City, LA70128253Oct 21, 2020
This place is a local legend.
Easily the best place in town for sushi and overall hibachi, cant speak to much beyond that. From a sushi standpoint, its solid. The prices are fair and portions match and if any critiques it would be that there is a lot of similarity in the menu. Not a bevy of fresh fish options, which I found odd and somewhat of a headscratcher. Service always has been top notch and genuine.
Lets be real a moment, if your coming here, your getting the volcano roll. The mixture of sauce, onions, roe, scallops carrots etc served hot is just special. Its delicious and the main reason I randomly crave this place. It's I would argue, their "specialty" and what they are "known for".
If anything, I can't wait for them to return to some non evening hours. Far too often I am in town at lunchtime and would love to indulge but cannot stay till they open closer to 5pm.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shane F.Alto, LA031Mar 14, 2023
Place is straight garbage. The service is terrible. Food is not even average. The atmosphere is damp with old carpet. Ronin Hibachi is waaaay better.

Hibachi Steak and chicken is what I ordered. It was average, the steak and chicken tasted good but plate itself contained a lot of grease and soy sauce. Rice and veggies were almost soaking in it.

The food is great, the chefs are talented and entertaining, and the waiters are friendly.
We got seated late and the owner prepared our food personally and kept the restaurant, and the drink bar, open until we finished.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Linda L.Liberty Hill, TX05110Oct 24, 2019
This place is definitely for the experience but the food is good. I had a few sushi rolls and family had teriyaki chicken and steak from the grill. What I sampled of theirs was delicious.
Not friendly for the gluten free as most all their sauces include soy or teriyaki, but some of their sushi was easy to ID as GF and I enjoyed it.
A little on the expensive side but typical of this type of restaurant.
I do recommend and we will go back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - William J.New Orleans, LA22035Jan 24, 2021
