I cannot believe that I have been in Belmont for over 10 years and I have yet to visit this Togos. I am a sandwich guy, so why have I been neglecting this place?! I am so sorry my little Togie...
#23 SALAMI & PROVOLONE: 4/5. I ordered this on white bread, light mayo, no pickles or peppers. What makes this work so well is FRESH salami. What typically screws up a salami sandwich is skanky salami that should have been served last week. Not this one. Fresh, fresh, freshy fresh. And the bread was really solid (in a good way). I savored every bite of this meat-a-licious sando.
I gotta come back and try something on their pretzel bread because, well, its pretzel bread...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 25, 2020
I have always in the back of my mind wondered..what kind of name is TOGOS? I mean at first, it really does not make sense, unless of course, you take a look deeper. TO GO's get it, and we seem to be doing a lot of that in this current environment. So by far, this one and the Mt View one seem to be my TOGO places:) No pun or bread bun intended:)
I have been coming here for a while, and have always had a nice experience with the people that work here. This is not the easiest job to do during this time, so I am very thankful for them.
Generally, I get their daily specials and you cannot lose on that. I have had their salads, which are really a step above any other fast food" salad.
Any choice you make her with their sandwiches from the Italian to the Pastrami to a more vege sandwich to their Tuna is a great choice. It is always about the freshness of their sandwiches. For a fast-food pick up, please come to TOGOS!! Make that your mantra...TOGOS TOGOS TOGOS! :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jack T.Berkeley, CA113712Dec 23, 2019
Don't trust these boneheads to follow simple instructions if you're using an app and aren't there to watch them f*** up your sandwich, and guess what? You won't know it until you're home and it's too late.
For a ripoff $11.50 sandwich, these jagoffs can't get a simple order right:(
And try investing in some tape to tape the paper wrapping so everything doesn't just spill out in the bag, morons.
I have attached a picture to illustrate what my $11 sandwich looks like. The bread is very wide like they walked next door to Nob Hill Foods and bought a $2 loaf of bread, then some cheap lunchmeat (BarS anyone?), one peperroncini, etc. This was Friday, December 23rd at 5:30 pm with absolutely no customers. I guess the lazy employee couldn't bother himself with making a good sandwich when he had nothing else to do, how sad.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steven J.San Jose, CA14590May 28, 2020

Oh man, the service here is rough on the weekends. I'm hoping it's much better during the week, but I have yet to experience that myself. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there were four employees serving two customers, including me. It took almost 20 minutes to get two sandwiches.
One of the employees was being trained, but the boy training him was kind of terrible at it quite frankly. I was asked many of the same questions multiple times and they talked so quickly and muffled that I could barely understand them. The orders were not complicated at all, I didn't even make any changes to the sandwiches!
It's a shame because it seems like Togo's has some great lunch options, like sandwich/soup/salad combos and a large menu, but the service was just awful for a mediocre bite.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Emily U.Rochester, NY09Aug 17, 2018
They charged me twice for my lunch, six months apart.
I ate lunch here back in February 2018. My bank statement clearly shows the charge. Recently, this week (August 2018), I was charged again for the same amount from this place. When I called my bank to report the charge, they said it even was marked as a February transaction. This place randomly charged me again six months later for the same sandwich. I realize $15 isn't a ton of money, but I shouldn't have to monitor my bank statements with a magnifying glass to catch double charges months apart. Hopefully I didn't miss any other charges from them.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Long T.Menlo Park, CA5323725Sep 29, 2020
Second time here and I was impressed with this place. They were quick with the order. I got there within 5 minutes and my #9 was ready. The sandwich was well made. The place also has outdoor seating. From now on I am coming here if I am in Redwood Shore.

UPDATE: I went back again today and nothing has changed. Bad attitude and no customer service. I asked to have the meat spread evenly across the sandwich but was ignored. You end up with a sandwich that is mostly meat on one side and bread on the other. No one cares here. I'm not going to give them another chance (even though I really like Togo's sandwiches)!!!
This Sunday crew has the worst attitude of any food place that I go to. Christt (sp?? I think that was what was on his name tag on his hat) and Brandon seem to really hate being there. Never a happy greeting, slow to react to you when you enter the place and just an overall unpleasant environment. It's a shame because they seem like they could be good guys. I really blame management for not providing guidance and training.
So please, whoever owns this Togo's come in once and awhile, manage your staff, and give them proper training on customerHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 13, 2019Previous reviewThis Sunday crew has the worst attitude of any food place that I go to. I got myself the high rise sandwich.
The girl made it just like I wanted it.
In fact even more delicious then I'd imagine it.
She had a great smile, great attitude, I left very happy and fullfilled.
They have a lot of seats in the seating area and the temperature is just right.
It was soo good that I almost took a nap there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
