      I was looking around for a personal trainer and connected with Todd based on the great reviews on Yelp. Right from the start, Todd was extremely prompt with his communication and we were scheduled for a free assessment within a couple of days. He even set me up with a week-long pass to the gym

      Todd used the assessment to understand my physical state, my flexibility, movement issues, etc by having me do a couple of reps of a host of exercises. At the end of the session, we discussed what a training plan would look like.

      What I really liked about his training program was that he was willing to work around my constraints. I wanted to work with a trainer just once a week and he was willing to give me structure homework routines to do on my own on the other days. He also used MyFitnessPal to keep a track of diet and make suggestions. After the session, he was great about following up and answering any questions that I had.

      Overall, I had a great experience with Todd and I would highly recommend considering him if you're in the market for a personal trainer.

      This guy has turned my life around. I'm still overweight and life isn't perfect, but I can walk. He actually had me doing a short run on the treadmill last week!! Unbelievable. I thought I would never run again.

      Sometimes my back hurts and I don't want to do anything. I work out with him and my back doesn't hurt while we are hitting it and I walk away feeling fantastic. I don't know how he does it but it's better than every other trainer I've worked out with. He knows all of the new training methods and applys them to my personal situation. He is really exceptional in his field.

      Todd is intelligent and supportive, personable and caring. For about five years I've seen Todd two or three times a week. Now in my 70's, Todd has assisted me through several health setbacks along the way. I confess that going to the gym is not my favorite thing to do. I look forward to seeing Todd because I always feel better (and maybe even a bit younger) after our sessions. He has clients young and old. His focus is solidly directed toward whomever he trains. I recommend Todd to anyone who wants to feel and look better!

      Still great; still working out with him regularly. Workouts are very intense, well organized, and focused on my specific requirements. Not surprisingly, they are also effective.

      You don't get much rest time during the workout, unlike some of the other trainers who spend more time gossiping than working.

      If you want someone to gossip with in the gym, Todd is not your guy. If you want a good, intense workout, Todd is the only guy.

      Todd is fantastic and has made working out enjoyable again. My life took a detour over the last year plus and working out took a major back seat. I had a really hard time getting back into fitness so I chose to get a personal trainer. I looked for about a month and nothing felt right - long-term contracts, sometimes unclear on who would be training me, group classes dressed up as personal training, etc. Then I found Todd on Thumbtack! Here is why he is AMAZING:

      1. Asks Questions - He started by asking about my fitness history, biggest trouble areas, previous injuries, and what I like/dont like - this is extremely important because who likes to work out doing things they truly do not like? For me that is running...

      2. LISTENS to the answers and personalizes sessions - He does exercises that focus on trouble areas, finds creative ways to avoid the "dislikes", hears when you something doesn't feel quite right and adjusts accordingly, etc.

      3. Creates unique workouts - Every workout we do is different. It may incorporate some of the same exercises, but usually mixed up with new ones and/or part of a different circuits. We use new machines weekly. I NEVER get bored.

      4. Additional workouts - Todd not only comes up with unique, creative sessions but he also provides additional workouts for you to do on off-day and suggests other things that will help work on problem areas.

      5. Focuses - when you are with Todd, you are his client. He is focusing on your form, answering questions, giving you more information about nutrition/fitness, etc.

      I have been with him for a little for a month, working out twice a week. I have already seen great results and I am feeling better than I have in a long time. I will be continuing and am very happy with the choice I made!

      I hate exercise. But I love Todd, because he managed to make exercise, normally the bait of my existence, an actually pleasant moment of my day.

      First, he is a NICE guy. He's comfortable to hang around, always on time, pleasant to talk to, and very professional. Plus, for the quality of service, his prices are reasonable.

      Second, he knows his stuff, and knows how to make a work-out interesting. We alternated exercises often, and he always came up with ways to make the work out less monotonous, so to make the hour go a little quicker.

      He pushed me to my limit, but never more. He knew exactly when was enough, and when I could go further. My butt is tighter than ever, legs stronger, stomach flatter.

      I didn't think anyone could make me like exercise, but Todd did! I can't wait to work out with him again.

      Todd is amazeballs! He got me interesting in my personal fitness again. He challenged and pushes me in our workout sessions. Todd is patience and not a meat head. He is knowledgeable about health and fitness. He's also aware of my abilities and tailored my program to my needs. I look forward to our bi-weekly sessions, it's a part of my weekly routine. Making great progress so far.

      Easy to work with and a sense of humor to boot!

      I've been working out with Todd for several months. I had other trainers before and I can say that Todd is a great trainer. He listens to you, pays attention to your needs, focuses only on you during the workout out. He is flexible and has good expertise. My weight and body fat % decreased, my physique is better and generally I'm in a lot better shape in general, thanks to Todd

      Took 5 fitness personal one-on-one sessions each an hr from Todd. He clearly understood what I was looking for and came up with workout sessions that fits my requirement. He was punctual that he always been before I reach fitness center. He was always ready to start training ahead of time, with an workout routine planned. He was so easy to get along with. Upon request he suggested me few tips on diet plan for more protein intake.

      I hired Todd for a couple of years while I lived in San Francisco after a decade of chain smoking.

      He was positive and encouraging while never judgmental about my frustration with needing to exercise. We often went outdoors to enjoy the city while working up a sweat.

      If I move back to San Francisco, I hope to work with him again.
