For any of your car accessory needs, Tim's trim is an awesome locally own store. The prices are reasonable, employees are very knowledgeable, and the customer service is superb. I will always shop at Tim's, they have a customer for life. Keep up the good work and Great service. Peter and the boys ,

Whereas Agor attempted to take the family dime, and then just go dark on us about product acquisition and installation, just two days ago, Tim's acquired the product, and finished installing it 40 minutes early. Installation guy gave thorough training on the product. Unlike Agor, Tim's Trim had excellent communications with us throughout the process. Tim's caught a safety issue that Agor did not. Definitely going back to Tim's, for all my service needs.

Stopped in to purchase my dad a gift certificate for his birthday. The two guys behind the counter were very helpful and friendly. Gave my dad the gift certificate and he used it no problems! We will be back again I'm sure.

Several years ago, I had Tim's Trim install a remote starter in my F-250 pick-up. It served me for 10 years with no trouble. I also bought a tonneau cover from them and it wore like iron. Never a problem, even with heavy snow. Fast forward to recent weeks and I've bought a Honda CR-V. There were several items I wanted right away, like WeatherTech Floor Liners and Vent Visors. Tim's was the first place I thought of. They're also going to install a remote starter on my Honda.
Tim's has a full line of accessories for most vehicles and they also build and sell vehicles for drivers with special needs. All of the gentlemen that work the counter are knowledgeable and helpful. They REALLY know their stuff.
I can't say enough good things about the folks at Tim's. If you have something that you want or need to pimp up your ride, Tim's Trim should be your first stop.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Maureen R.Spencerport, NY18391Jan 9, 2018Updated review
Just a quick update. After I wrote this review, I was contacted by the owner through a personal message. Long story short he said he would take a look at it. I sent two follow up messages to figure out a date and time to come in and he stopped responding.
Last week I took my car somewhere else but I will not mention the name of the place because it may violate Yelps terms. They took a look and told me that it was "a complete mess underneath" and was installed by someone who must have been very inexperienced (greeeeeaaaat). An airbag cap had been broken and they put the broken cap back on and didn't say anything or replace it for me.
The other company rewired the entire thing for me and gave me a brand new remote (For free I might add) because the other one was outdated. Since then I haven't had any issues. Not to mention my car has started in the very cold weather, which never happened since day one (I believe I mentioned this in my first review). Also no electrical issues anymore either.
I am very disappointed how this turned out with Tim's Trim, but glad my issue *keeping my fingers crossed* is finally resolved for good.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 7, 2017Previous reviewI received a car starter from here as a Christmas present two years ago. It was installed around January 2016. A couple months after the starter was installed, I had electrical issues with my car. Occasionally, when I would start my car, all lights started blinking inside and out and making a "click" noise. Sometimes this would last 1-2 minutes and eventually go away. Even the front headlights were literally blinking outside if they were on, which at night is pretty embarrassing.
I brought my car back in for them to fix once it had been going on for a couple months. I sat in the waiting room for a couple hours while they worked on it. They kind of gave me some excuse that it wasn't really anything they did, but when I got my car back they had for the most part fixed the issue. I had NEVER had these issues once until the starter was installed, so I kinda feel like they didn't want to admit they didn't install it properly and gave me an excuse.
Now I'm heading into another winter. I've tried using my remote starter on some of the colder mornings and it has yet to start. Now the starter won't work at all. I'm fed up and really don't want to go back there to get it fixed, plus I don't even know if it's under a warranty anymore. So who knows if they even would fix it for me. But I'm upset it hasn't even been two full years yet and it already doesn't work and it's been nothing but a headache since I got it. - A.B. R.Simpsonville, SC20416186Aug 28, 2015
I don't know that I have ever walked into any auto service center without an elevated level of anxiety. Its almost like knowing you are going to be screwed, but not knowing if they'll use lube or not. That's how it typically rolls.
I made a first visit to Tim's Trim to have some modifications made to the running boards of my Yukon Denali. The job seemed simple enough, but required special equipment.
The folks at Tim's gave me a quote that was a couple hundred dollars less than I expected. They provided an appointment time. And upon arrival, they were ready to go. The paperwork and logistics were already taken care of.
I left my vehicle with the understanding that things would be complete by noon. I received a call at 11:00 or so stating that the vehicle was ready to go. I arrived shortly after 1:00 and the vehicle looked great. After I went in to pay, the service rep told me that they had done the job quicker than expected and that I would save about $80 on the quoted labor costs. These guys actually reduced the bill. Unbelievable!
A couple weeks followed and I received a nice hand written card thanking me for doing business with Tims Trim. Now this is first class and a highly recommended trim shop.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 1242112724Dec 11, 2015
My family and I have been going to Tim's Trim for decades. I truly recommend anyone who is getting a car starter installed, to get it done here. They take the time to explain all the details to you and they do it professionally and quickly. I got mine installed today. I dropped it off at 9 o'clock in the morning and he told me it would be ready by 5. He called me at 12:30pm and told me it was ready, what a surprise! My car can be tricky when putting in an automatic start because of the push button, make and model, so I wouldn't take it anywhere else. Tim's trim has been around for a very long time and continues to get great reviews over the years. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They also do vehicle restyling & van rental. You won't be disappointed coming here!

Visited Tim's Trim to have a remote start system installed in my 2017 Ford Escape about 2+ months ago. Of course, I was a bit apprehensive about my new 'baby' undergoing surgery. The associate made me completely at ease. (Forgot his name.. big guy with beard.. friendly and engaging guy!) He explained everything from A to Z and asked the right questions. Never tried to over-sell anything. I'm completely happy with my decision to visit Tim's Trim and very satisfied with my purchase. I had to come in for a visit recently because I thought the starter wasn't working. (Turns out the remote was in valet mode after routine service maintenance at the Ford dealership). Tim's staff saw me right away and resolved within minutes... not even an issue.
Great staff, great establishment!

A friend referred me to Tim's Trim Inc to get floor mats for my jeep. After all winters like this in Rochester make them a necessity! Dealing with them was great, they seem to really care about my vehicle and making sure I had the right fit. I have since had them install a remote car starter for me as well. Will come back if need be.
