Owners are nice. Love the new up close experience you get feeding the parakeets!!. Our kids really enjoyed their time feeling the peacocks. The place is small. Looks like they also host really cool birthday parties as one was happening while we were there. They could use some more updates inside the cages which is the reason I left off one star. Overall it was a good experience and perfect for a day close to home. We really enjoyed our time.

More enclosure space than the available zoo. Staff was nice wish they were more hands on with visitors. Needs some remodeling looks a little ran down. Definitely recommend hopefully I can feed the sloth next time I go. Animals well taking care of I fully support.1

We had a great time here! Parking available on site for free. Able to get really close up views of some amazing animals here. Several families were there with their children celebrating a birthday or to fill the time with family on the weekend. Enjoyed our visit. Only negative is that the bathrooms really needed a cleaning.
Recommended if you are ever in town.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 19, 2023
This place is nice to visit, pretty big place. It has free parking so that's a plus. We went during the week so it was not crowded, although they did have a school group. Of course the main attraction are the big cats but they also had other animals. Peacocks were roaming free so that was nice to see. This place is for kids and adults.

My family enjoyed our visit. We got there early so there was no line yet. The majority of the animals were up and walking around. I'll admit the kid in me loved seeing all those big cats up close. I highly recommend a visit to Tiger World.

I really like visiting this place with my family! It's so nice to see that somebody cares about these endangered animals. I only wish that some of the animals had bigger enclosures. I understand that many of the animals are adopted/sponsored by certain people, and that that's how this place is able to care for the animals, but it's a little sad to see that some of the same kind of animals have noticeably smaller areas to live in because of that. But the staff is always friendly and helpful and you really can tell that the animals are well loved and cared for. I love the wide variety of animals you can visit there, it's a lot more than just tigers!! A super nice and affordable place to bring your family and get some learning in!!

What a gem this place is! This was the highlight of my whole trip to North Carolina and WELL worth the money spent. If I'm not mistaken, it was about $15 per person which was a steal. The parking is free which is a MAJOR plus.
I will say I wouldn't waste money getting food to feed the animals. I was thinking about it, decided against it and glad I did. I'm not exactly sure what you are feeding considering everywhere I looked had a "DO NOT FEED" sign.
Regardless, there's more than just tigers. They have tigers, lions, birds, monkeys, and more. I got there about 30 mins after they opened. I was advised to come BEFORE 11am - although I was not told why. I'm so glad I did. I got to to see the staff members feeding all the animals. A lot of zoos will NOT show you this so this was definitely an experience.
I honestly would come back to North Carolina just for this place. It was place was amazing, you can get up close and just have a good time.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2
