Best BBQ I've ever had. The brisket and pulled pork were incredible. Sauce was tasty too.

      FINGERLICKIN!!

Their food is cooked over a wood fire burning grill (if that's what they call it). Must try their pulled pork and jerk chicken. Completely tender and full of flavor. This spot was conveniently located near our stay in Poconos. The staff was super friendly and helpful (which makes the food taste better ;)). We kept coming back every day and they would give us extra corn bread!!

The best daaa'rn BBQ this side of TEXAS! This is our new favorite place. Our whole house smells like a BBQ pit for days when we bring leftovers home. Great "take home" specials too.
Beans are awesome, Collard greens are killin. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
BTW----even tho they discontinued the BEST FRIES I'd ever tasted in my life, we still love them anyway! ;)

We came here for the first time for dinner tonight. We got there about an hour before they closed, we were the only one's there. Which was fine by me, because our 11-month old daughter was in rare form. We have been in The Pocono's since May, moving out here from the Northwest. We have BBQ out there, but we have yet to find anywhere that it is done right.

I had the quarter rotisserie chicken (you get your choice of white or dark meat, I had dark) and it came with 2 sides. I opted for the seasoned fries and the macaroni and cheese to share with my little one.... AHHH-MAAYYY-ZING. It was a perfect portion. I don't finish what I order very often, but it was gone.... my hubby did help with the fries and cornbread though. Hubby had the Messy Bessy. He loved it. He was very pleased because he usually has a hard time deciding between brisket and pulled pork. For him, it was the best of both worldS. It came with a side of chips. We each had a Stewarts root beer. Total on the bill came to right around $20.

The 2 gentlemen working were very friendly. They even brought out sweet potatoes for our daughter. I am not a fan of sweet potatoes, but he warned me before I gave her a spoonful that they may be hot, so I had a taste. I would eat these sweet potatoes!

We are glad that we stopped in. They do take out and they deliver to a small area. We will definitely be back!

      First to Review

I stopped in today on my way home shortly after they opened. I decided to grab something for lunch. Since I was the only customer (five minutes after opening), I felt a little pressured to order. I got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and the mild sauce, their version of seasoned fries, and a pint of their chili. My taste buds were tortured on the way home smelling all of this delicious food.

The sandwich was pretty good. A little too much bread for my taste, but that won't make me not order it again. Given the choice of cool, mild, and hot, I tried the mild. I guess I was expecting the cool to be just flavor, the hot to be the hot, and the mild to be in between the other two. I expected wrong. Next time I'm trying the hot.

Their hog fries seasoned wedges were pretty good, but they didn't seem too seasoned at all. I think I'd rather have had the cornbread.

The Hell's Kitchen Chili w/ Crispy Brisket Bits was ok. In all likelyhood, they use the leftover brisket in the chili. That's all good. On the down side, it was just spicy hot. It didn't really have flavor other than the heat. Personally, there's a fine line with chili. It needs heat but it needs flavor as well. I don't think this had the flavor, just the heat. I'm just not into that kind of chili.

Will I go there again? Sure! Why not? It was good. So maybe next time I amend my choices and re write this review... who knows?

Stopped by today after taking my daughters to the YMCA. We haven't lived in the area long, but let me tell you something. This place not having 5 stars is a cardinal sin and whomever opted for less than five probably dines with the Royalty as their heads are probably so far shoved up their you know whats.

AMAZING! Coming from the South we have had our fair share of BBQ, and the soul and love that is put into this food is amazing! Generally after something has been smoked and left to sit you can taste the meat drying out, this place was sweet and succulent like it had been cooked this morning. A plus so happy that we found a place so close to our house.

We are looking forward to becoming part of the family. I hope Chef Charma(i)(y)ne is looking for a younger man, because I want to this on my table every night!

I read all of the reviews and was very excited to try this BBQ place out - especially with the limited places to find good BBQ in the area. Unfortunately I think they were in the midst of going through a new ownership transition when we ate there.

It's a small place which is the kind of place I like to eat - when we walked in your shoes had that "sticky" feeling on the floors... a bit of a turn-off right away. The tables, chairs and other items were clean but that "sticky" floor feeling set the tone.

We tried a number of items, tips, pulled pork, brisket, mac-n-cheese and of course the corn bread. The smell was fantastic inside but the meats were dry and you could tell the sides had been there for some time. The BBQ sauces they had were very good but didn't bring moisture back to the meats. The brisket sandwich wasn't quite as dry but had a lot of fat on it, a bit more than I tend to like.

The price seemed reasonable for the quantity of food you were receiving but not for the quality. I'll wait to see what others post before I make a decision to try them out again.

During a visit with my son at ESU, we were looking for some good barbecue and did the intelligent thing by checking on Yelp. Our search brought us to Tickle My Pig.

Oddly, it was not crowded when we pulled in but you could definitely smell that special scent of barbecue.

It is an "eating in the rough" establishment; paper plates, plastic utensils, and drinks from the bottle. The food however is excellent.

My son and I opted for brisket while my wife had ribs. All the meat was very good. The side dishes were equally good except for a spicy broccoli dish which was "woody" and inedible (definitely would not recommend).

Their different sauces are tasteful but the "Smoking Hot" sauce is medium heat not hot.

      I would definitely visit again.

The pulled pork was delicious. Staff is very friendly. I posted a picture of my pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw....which was delicious also! I highly recommend this place. They even have a framed review from Yelp on their wall so spread the word Yelpers!
