I have been living in Folsom for almost a year and could not find anyone that knew how to clean up eyebrows I was about to give up. They actually live right in front of me next to the DMV I never even knew they were there I walked in met Ravi and asked if she could please do my eyebrows I told I could not find anyone who could my eyebrows looked awful she look at me smiled and you will be happy when you leave. I cannot begin to thank her I have perfect eyebrows now and I scheduled a hair appt. This by far is the best salon in Folsom

Had great experience. Visited first time and was impressed by the level of detail and care taken in helping to decide the hair cut, styling option and most importantly color. I was bored of the same color and wanted something more fun. Ravi helped me in picking color that suits me. Thank you for the great customer service Ravi and Harry. Look forward to my next visit!

Still in shocked that this business for 24yrs only accepts some, horrible customer service which I allowed to myself participate with.
I was told by the beautician & owner, she cannot do "kinky hair".
I'm visiting the west coast on business, I needed only a trim cut, she lifted my hair and said she could do the trim, but not style my curly, kinky hair.
She asked questions about how I manage my hair... (a licensed professional stylist?) However, after her 7-10min clip of my ends, I was charged $60.00, and I tipped her availability of my walk-in service.
Professionals have never charged that much, not even $30.00.
I appreciate ratings because I travel often, I cannot ignore the service I was given.
This is a rip-off merchant to a curly, kinky hair person.

Ravi is the best! I got a beautiful and clean and super even haircut! Ravi is so nice and listen to what costumers really want!
I booked an appointment for myself and had my kids with me. So I asked if Ravi had time to do my son's too, she said yes and did my son as well. My son loved it!

The wax and threading is awesome. She's quick, gentle and detailed. My cousin got threaded for the first time and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't too painful!

I've been seeing Ravi for brows and and Harry for cuts for over six years. They're my favorite. Harry's cuts are masterful. Ravi is the only person I let touch my brows other than myself. Can't say enough about how great I feel about how I look when I leave the salon. They don't try to upsell products, but if you want to try something he is using to tame your hair he describes what works and why.

Highly recommend! Ravi took the time to work with my terribly damaged hair. Her ability to take my copper toned, and fried hair to a vibrant blonde with a beautiful cut, was unbelievable. Its obvious they truly care about their customers and overall service!

I have been going to this salon to get my eyebrows done- because I love the threading AND waxing. Also a great deal of $10 .
BUT what pissed me off is the hours are listed that they opened at 9AM . I have been multiple times and waited until 9:20AM -9:30AM for someone to finally show up.
I'm willing to come all the way from Roseville BUT need to drive BACK to Roseville by 10AM. I don't have forever to kill time.

My great idea I called today to book an appt at 9AM.
She says "I can do 9:30AM"
I asked her "Don't you guys opened at 9AM?" "Yes"
"Sooo why can't I do 9AM?"
"My husband comes in at 9AM- I come in 10AM. Ill come in 9:15AM"

I'm sorry... your husband doesn't do eyebrows. Why not just change your hours so it fits your life--- since that's all you care about?

My business is going back over expensive European Wax.

I am somewhat new to the area and had been looking for a new place to go for my hair. I read reviews and thought I'd try Thunder Hair Salon. I am soooo glad I did!! Thank you Ravi for everything! I absolutely love my hair cut, color and highlights! And the extra care you did! Also first time I had threading and highly recommend. Thank you again!

This review is for the threading service. My brows came out uneven. As she was threading my left brow, I could actually feel some hair on my right brow getting pinched when they shouldn't have been. End result: my right brow is thicker and slightly longer than my left. I will not be back, and I recommend you go somewhere else for threading--I don't want anybody else having the same bad experience especially for something that defines the face.
