Thornapple Brewing

This was our first visit. We went after a flight home. The place was empty but the service was still attentive not annoyed by us being there
It is very comfortable inside and has outdoor seating , which allows for dogs.

We shared the Traverse City pizza on gluten free crust. It was delicious. We also had a winter old fashioned. That drink was amazing! They have a lot of ciders, beers, and wine as well.
Definitely a place to visit again.

My husband and I visited Thornapple Brewing originally for a drink, which went well and we even bought a pint glass to take home. The next visit we ordered the hipster and ended up coming back a few days later because it was so good. We loved the hipster pizza and pickle chip app. The mosaic trellis beer is delicious as well.

The service is very timely regardless of the crowd. The food comes out super fast, fresh, and hot, so beware - you might end up burning your mouth. 10/10 recommend.

When walking in, there seemed to not be too many people dining in. That was totally fine with us. The ambiance of the restaurant was super inviting, very clean, and gave off a fun vibe! But the food is the start of this show!

I ordered the Brisket sandwich - 10/10! Sooooo good!! The kettle chips were just kettle chips. The brisket had so much flavor and the au jus was the perfect amount.

On to the main event: the KRAB RANGOON PIZZA! This was what made us decide to go in. It was DELICIOUS. I've never had a pizza that was so creamy and flavorful. It had all the components of a simple crab rangoon, sweet and sour sauce drizzled on top too! This pizza was a 1000/10. We plan on coming back here every time we're in the area because it was just that good.

We had a group of about twelve that were split between two tables, that was totally fine. Our daughters were playing in a volleyball tournament and we wanted them to have a nice lunch with time for the food to settle before playing. We thought 2.5 hours was enough time. We were wrong. We arrived at noon and got seated right away. Our orders weren't taken until almost 1:15and no food arrived until 1:45. Orders weren't all correct, bills were wrong, and some food was room temperature. For the ENTIRE restaurant and bar there were only two servers. That is completely unfair to those two workers. I will not return and won't recommend.

I've been to trapped brewing a few times now. They have a pretty good selection of beer and the pizza is always great! My friend was gluten free and they actually have a gluten free crust option which was perfect. Service was quick and friendly. The space is pretty large so you don't feel over crowded at all.

We like to stop by after golf. 6 ft blonde and sangria are the usual. Recommend the wings. Service can be pretty slow at times but it is close to home and the pizza not bad either.

It is a nice place to dine and hang out. The food is good, but not a lot of dessert options. I'm screaming about this place, but it is solid and dependable.

Doesn't have a good feeling about this place. I thought I could try out for a Friday night and see what that has to offer. Nah I was wrong and very disappointed. The kitchen closes at 830 on a Friday evening. I didn't get a chance to order some food so we left and Ended up at Beer City we had a wonderful time there., great service with great food and to top it off happy hours!

We were only drinking on this trip, but I was the drinks were pretty worth the trip. I had the Sriracha Sayonara cider, and it was the perfect flavor of sweet and spicy. Although it had a spicy taste, it didn't really have a spicy burn (it didn't taste hot). My fiancé had the jalapeño margarita, and it tasted yummy, but if you would've told me there was no booze in it, I probably would've believed it It tasted very much like lime sour and not much like jalapeños or like tequila. We also had their version of an Oktoberfest, and I thought it was the best Oktoberfest I've ever had, but my fiancé felt it wasn't as heavy as it should be.

Overall, service was great, drinks were like a 3/5. I've heard their known for their pizza, so I'll definitely have to come back to try that.

Good food, beers, and atmosphere. Located in a strip mall in Cascade, Thornapple has doubled in size since it's opening - a clear sign of its success and popularity.

Unfortunately the service is meh. Always on the slow side, whether the place is busy or has 3 tables, and regardless of any server we've had. If you're into slower dining then this place is definitely for you. But not great for an hour lunch break because you'll go over your time.

That said, the food and beers are very good and definitely worth checking out. They have a lovely outdoor seating area and do huts in the winter.
