Therapy is a quaint little store in downtown Los Altos. The place has a little something for everyone including clothing, hats, bags, belts, watches, wallets, knick-knacks, gifts, stationary, books and more. This is a great place to check for the person who has it all.

I was impressed by the selection of interesting wrist watches. There was also a large selection of hats for men and women.

The woman who helped me was very friendly and the store was pretty busy for being small.

I purchased a new wallet that is perfect for me. I also got a gift for a friend.

If you're in Los Altos definitely check out this place.

SO fun! I like to come here to pick up gifts for friends or my teenage daughter. They have all kinds of kitschy bits and bobs. The clothes are cute, too. They even carry some things for men and a few things for babies, like bibs and toys. I always enjoy talking with the staff. There are only two drawbacks.: 1. Pretty expensive price tags, and 2. The clothes are small sized. If you wear 12+, you're not going to find anything that fits :-(
These things do not deter me from shopping here, though. I would definitely recommend a stop in.

      Dear Therapy,

What are you doing in Los Altos? Your SF-Mission-Hipster Street Cred is in jeopardy.

Well luckily you have fabulous birthday cards in both locations and like most things in the 'burbs, this store is more spacious and parking is a breeze.

Your "secret" is safe with me!

      Love,
      Amy C.

The staff here is the best. I believe her name is Annabell, she is so nice & friendly, always recognizes me every time I walk in!
I love their products here, so many cute things. Unique little boutique. Some stuff is similar to what Urban Outfitters has.
      Will always be back :)

When Urban Outfitters meets the aesthetic appeal of Anthropologie and the innovative product design of Fab.com, Therapy emerges. This one of a kind store replete with the quirkiest curated products you could imagine.

A magical set of wands which double as salt & pepper shakers?
A Dogeared necklace with an elegant little California-shaped pendant?
A vintage typography sign proclaiming "If you're waiting for a sign, this is it"?
      Yes, one hundred times yes!

Amazing products with even better customer service! While I was admiring some salt & pepper shakers (they were definitely worth admiring), I accidentally knocked over (being my clumsy self) a beautiful set of retro owl shakers. Most store owners would require payment to compensate for accidents like these, but Therapy's store owner was so gracious and forgiving that he told me not to worry about it. He, along with the friendly salesperson, made us feel incredibly welcome in the store and even told me not to feel obligated to purchase the broken items.

With products & gifts that are anything but ordinary, Therapy is the store that will leave a lasting impression.

If Anthropologie and Paper Source had a baby, it would be Therapy. And like a baby, it is going to consume my entire paycheck week in and week out.

But completely unlike having a small human dependent on me, I can be as selfish as I want without guilt and buy myself cute clothes, accessories, handbags, papercrafts, coffee mugs, knickknacks... oh the list goes on!

Visited Therapy yesterday, 7/24/14, just before they were closing. Went in with the bf because he bought a pair of sunglasses from the Burlingame store only to have them break after a month of normal wear. We didn't go in for a refund, we went in searching for the same pair to purchase again.

After checking out their sunglasses wrack, we showed the sales girl the pair we were looking for and she went into the back to see if they had the same one. She came back empty handed but then offered to give us a store credit even though we didn't have our receipt with us. I was floored LOL. These days, you usually have to fight to get your money back, etc. but to have a store credit offered so freely & happily??? WOW! Yeah, in that...you can see we've had very poor customer service experiences at various stores so our experience at Therapy was a wonderful surprise =).

The girl was VERY sweet and started looking into their computer system to see if she could locate our receipt. Apparently, MANY customers just go in and buy a pair of sunglasses so finding our exact receipt didn't happen since we couldn't remember the exact date we made the purchase at the Burlingame store. She issued us a credit anyway. WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We definitely recommend Therapy, this store especially! I wish I got the sales girl's name but you know who you are and if you're reading this...THANK YOU!!!!

The three stars are ONLY for the adorable accessories, stationery, cards, housewares, knick-knacks, and gifts. And for the friendly and helpful staff. For all that, I'll keep going back.

But I cut two stars off for the icky, cheap clothing, which not only is unappealing, but crammed into racks at the back of the store. The few times I've tried to navigate that section, all I've found is overpriced stuff made in China. Um, no thanks.....
