The Yogo Stop Salad Bar & Sweets

Very bright, colorful, and clean interior as I entered the shoppe. Me being the cheapskate, I passed DQ not wanting to pay the 3.50 for a Blizzard--Big Mistake. This is one of those pay by the oz frozen yogurt places. There were about 15 flavors such as raspberry and other fruit flavors, extreme chocolate, wedding cake, and caramel.

There are huge cups that you have to fill your own yogurt from the chosen machines or a mixture of several of your choosing. The mystery comes in because you don't know what it is going to weigh or cost Everything is weighed: sprinkles, nuts, bananas, yogurt, and whipped cream. My less than half way (probably about 35% of that cup) costs $4.49 (DG is laughing at this cheapskate).

Another weird thing: There are no chairs in here only multi-colorful square boxes covered with imitation leather on the floors in a communal style all grouped together. Today, there were about 25 teen girls in there, all giggling and staring at every customer. This is a great place for kids and parents with kids. There were a couple of these square boxes way down a hall way in the dark back, but I didn't want to look like the pervert lurking down the hallway, so I took mine to go.

The food: Rasberry- tart, sweet, flavorful

Caramel- my favorite, rich, creamy with a coffee flavor

Wedding Cake- tastes just like the name and was excellent

Cons: Expensive, poor seating, poor tactic of the large cups and not knowing what

your order weighs before its too late.

The snowcones, ohmygod yes! They have a snowcones machine and 20 different flavors to pick from. This is the only place in this area that has snowcones. It's super cheap as well, three small snowcones is $4.30. There is also a bunch of yogurt that they switch around flavor wise every week. They have a ton of nice ones! The salads are good. They also have coffee. Best hang out ever, seriously. Been coming here since high school, I'm 20 now. It's always clean as well.

Great yogurt with a large selection of flavors. Very clean place. Kids enjoyed having seats and a table their size and picking from the buffet of fruit, nuts, and candy.

The staff was very nice and willing to let us taste test and flavors we wanted.

Save yourself the trip and eat a pint from your favorite local store. They had unique flavors, but having a salad bar next to icecream makes you rethink your calorie choices.

So glad there is a healthy option so close to home! I got a salad to go and you can fill up on a generous portion of anything on the salad bar. They also give you a separate bowl for an additional side and your dressing. The potato salad, bean dip and beets were all excellent! I didn't ask if they make them in-house, but it tasted like they do. I later went back and had some frozen yogurt as well. It's not flashy, nor does it have a 1,000 item salad bar, but it's good and the staff is so very friendly. Go visit and keep this healthy restaurant near us in Schertz/Cibolo!

The salad bar is amazing as is the frozen yogurt. The service is nice as well! They are always welcoming!

Very nice atmosphere, clean. Friendly staff, fresh vegetables and dressings, breads and bean salad made in house.

Went there on Monday and there was no one at the front when I had walked in although I heard a hello from somewhere behind the wall. As I looked around it was very clean but a ghost town. Not sure if the machines were even on because the lady came out and pressed a few buttons said nothing and walked away. The customer service could have been a little more welcoming. On a better note the watermelon lactose free was really good.

Ice Cream was equivalent to any other by the ounce place. Service was not up to par, I gave them them Amex and they ran it and told me it was declined. I told her I just used it and she ran it again and said it was declined. Finally another manager/owner came by and said they don't except amex(ugh). I told her you should have a sign and she yelled back and said we do. She point to a homemade colored sign that wasn't even by the register. The sign didn't even have the Amex symbol on it. Would not recommend due to service.

I bring my family and I here on a weekly basis and the kids love it. The selection of flavors isn't huge ( I think they offer between 8 and 10 flavors that you can combine) but what they do offer is quite good. It's funny but they don't offer plain or regular yogurt so if that's what you're looking for then you should just go to H-E-B or something.
