Walnut Room has become one of my go-to late night RiNo spots because their kitchen is open so late. I appreciate this so much!! Service is always great. Even during the day (especially when sports games are happening) when parking is hard to find, they have a rare dedicated lot. Lots of seating inside at the high bar areas or outside on their patio.
I've had several items off their extensive menu, including wings, pizza, and flatbread. My most recent discovery was Pickle Flatbread. YUM!! Classic bar food. Wide selection of beer (and other beverages) as well. There's definitely something for everyone, even if your diet is more restricted. Still a great venue for large groups. I know I'll be back soon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Jul 10, 2022Previous review3.5 stars. I've been here a few times but keep forgetting to write a review. Love that Walnut Room has a private lot, since street parking can be a pain. The bartenders were very... friendly. At least they made sure my glass of Lavender Rye Old Fashioned was full. Great spot for large groups of people (or smaller hangouts) both of which I've done. Surprisingly I haven't sat at the bar yet.
Drinks are tasty! The variety of fruity and floral flavors is welcoming, i.e. lavender, hibiscus, strawberry, elderflower, etc. Their happy hour menu isn't bad! I'd come back for that. Got the "Hot Garlic Parmesan" wings that were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great hours (lunch and dinner) as well as menu variety. Customer service is great, but speed can be hit or miss, like forgetting orders of food and drink. Overall cozy, local bar experience. - Vitaly O.Denver, CO2882815May 15, 2024

I had initially stopped at Improper City to work on my laptop but was starved and they didn't have any food available. The bartender directed me to The Walnut Room and I took the quick 2 min walk with no idea what to expect. It's small and has a local bar feel but their food is different than any bar food I've ever had. The waitress recommended the Thai sweet chili flatbread and again I had no expectations but it was delicious. I also ordered a Paloma and worked away on my laptop for about an hour. It's definitely not the best environment to get work done but it was surprisingly the perfect recommendation and I'll definitely be back with friends next time I'm in Denver. :)

The food was very good. I was worried when it was a short menu, but everything was really tasty. Our group had almost one of everything on the menu and everyone thought it was very good. We had a large party but made reservations for the day after Thanksgiving, waited in the line and walked right in when it was our time. I loved the ambiance inside with the lights. I'd have loved if the lights didn't change and stayed on blue/purple. Other colors never made the tree look more beautiful (or us in photos ).

Ok... hot take but this pizza I got here was probably one of the best pizzas I've had in Denver (my number 1 is Redeemer). We got the pizza Florentine with spinach and it was beautiful. We didn't have room for leftovers and I loved our server. It was a week before our birthday and he wished me a happy birthday!!
Anyway, they were also walking around handing out tequila samples. I just love the vibes here to hang out. Definitely top of mind when I'm in Rino.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 5, 2023Updated review30 check-ins
Five stars for the pizza. Four stars for the fresh and creative salads. Two stars for the interior and decor. Four stars for the quality of the booze and prices. Three stars for parking - busy area. Three stars for service. If you are into thin crust (NYC) pizza, you found it. This place is a pizza winner!

I went to Walnut Room for their lunch special with a friend and we both ordered the pizza, salad, and a drink option. The pizza was good for the price, it was a very thin crust if you like that type of pizza. The salad was nothing to write home about but not bad. Overall for the value I think I would definitely come back. Nothing incredibly special but decent pizza for a good price in a very relaxed atmosphere.

My husband and I went here after hiking and I loved it. The ambiance was chill and the pizza was yummy. I got the white pizza and he got a pineapple and ham pizza. Our server was very kind and provided great service. I cant wait to come back when I'm in the RiNo area and craving pizza.

Really good pizza! Fun environment to watch sports. Service was average, but didn't ruin the experience.

First off , food is great here. Good pizzas and surprisingly good wings. But, service is awful!! Waited 30 mins. for a side of wings that we ordered first thing. Then the waiter messed up our pizza order, he brought out the wrong pizza, so they had to make another one. However, the waiter did not make it a priority, and we waited 1hr 30 mins for our pizza and this was on a non-busy Wednesday night , maybe 8 people in the whole place. Waiter did not comp any of our food. We had to order a "to go" box to eat our pizza later because we were late for an event. Crap service and waiter didn't even care, so lazy and chill to be any good at his job. Very disappointing.
