At the outset, I'll admit that I'm cheap so for routine overnighting of documents or uncomplicated packages, I find USPS pricing far more attractive than high cost provider UPS and their retail arm, The UPS Store.
All kidding aside, I'm cheap not stupid. For those occasions where you're looking to ship anything large or fragile, the UPS Store is usually the way to go, having the supplies and expertise to ensure that irreplaceable family heirloom doesn't turn into a glass snowglobe on its way to Sacramento.
They're also terrific for understanding and navigating the thicket of documentation and fees necessary to ship internationally. Not an inconsequential consideration when it's imperative to get that first birthday present off to London before the kid hits puberty. Four solid stars. I live right next to this location and I'll avoid going to this one unless absolutely necessary. Convenient location next to the CVS on route 1. Incredibly slow service. Space is run down and dingy. Never a good line system. Lines can easily run out the door just because of how slow the staff is. Half the time there's a line, there's only person working the register, sometimes you see the other staff in the back or on the phone.

In this current day and age it is rare to find someone in business who will go beyond the minimum of service but you and your Team provided Exceptional Service !!!

I have been going to the ups store for over ten years to mail my benefits to my union 3 times a year. Normally its just under 11 dollars to send. Last time I went there a new lady was working there and tried to charge me 27 dollars. The other day I was sending a package back to Amazon printed the return receipt and she said I had to pay for new packaging when the charge is already picked up by Amazon. I went to the ups store on riders lane had no problem what so ever I would stay away from the ups.store on rt 1 in north Brunswick the lady is not to be trusted. People like this lady should be looked into for not being honest or customer friendly.

UPS delivery location comes in clutch when you can't sign for your package. The staff is great and always helpful.

Horrible experience with a quite unprofessional female UPS employee. I visited the UPS store to mail two packages for family members who had recently moved out of state, one of them was a box containing a holiday gift basket that had had not yet been opened. The employee asked me what was in the box, and I said it was a "holiday gift box" but was told that she needed to know specifically what, so I said one of those gifts with food, candies and crackers,etc. The answer wasn't sufficient for the employee and I was forced to open the whole thing and show her everything specifically, destroying the entire gift and its presentation. I didn't even end up shipping that package because the destroyed gift wouldn't be wanted- bow ripped off, paper torn, contents messed up!. I completely understand that the general contents need to be known as I have mailed many items from UPS previously but never before at UPS have I had to go through each and every item. Then, when I went to mail the next package containing personal letters, clothing, and a portable speaker, the employee began asking me what was in each envelope, suggesting I open each of my personal letters containing bills and financial documents and a box containing a small portable speaker. It was completely unprofessional. Again, I understand they need a general idea of what is being shipped but it was not this employee's responsibility to inspect each one of my items, especially personal mail! Never returning to this UPS...

My review was removed so I'll just leave it as 1 star and say that they have rude, obnoxious, employees. Anything g more than that apparently gets your review pulled. So much for our first amendment.

Indian couple works here, they takes minimum 25 mins to take 1 customer they work slow and don't know how to work. I waited for 45 mins and there was only 1 person infront of me. This employees are lazy and dnt know how to work fast.

Ever time I come in this place, I regret it. The staff is consistently rude and unhelpful, and I've dashed over near closing time to find them already closed and gone. They make it so clear that they take business for granted and don't appreciate people who come into their shop. I'm officially done with them.

I am giving 5 star to this particular UPS center for the staff. The most friendly store and I never went out disappointed. Especially, I had to renew my passport and I nearly spent an hour on my paper work. They truly helped me with every detail and I couldn't thank them enough. The staff is very patient and friendly and is very knowledgeable. The savior of mailing is here!
