The Store in Anacortes

If you haven't made it in to the "Store" on 37th and Commercial in Anacortes you are missing out.
That little place provides some of the most excellent assortment of muffins, fresh baked breads and pastries in the PNW!
Not only that they have built up quite the wine selection and have a great deli and espresso. The vibe is very Country store but the treats they produce are top tier!
Definitely a must try if you are passing through on your way to the San Juan Islands or spending the day playing in A-Town.

Run don't walk. The customer service at The Store is some of the best customer service I have ever had anywhere! I explained my allergy to them and they answered my questions then also went and consulted the baker to make sure everything was as they said.
The bakery counter is the stuff dream are made of! There are so many flavors of everything! I got a white chocolate cranberry muffin because it felt like just the right amount of Christmas in a muffin. We also got a loaf of basil garlic bread that I can't wait to spread some soft butter on and eat the whole loaf! The last thing we got was frosted molasses, molasses, peanut butter and snickerdoodle cookies. Everything was a fantastic price. I will be back and bringing everyone I know!

Paid almost $8 for one muffin. Left the store feeling hurt, robbed, and financially cheated.

They put crack in these muffins. Seriously, I don't know what else to say. Just put one of these muffins in your mouth.

The people are the best! The baked goods looked and smelled like they would be the best ever! They were good. Maybe the hype had us expecting more. We took home fresh baked bread, it was still warm from the oven and a few muffins. I love that people love this place, but it's not going on my list of must return to places.

We were on our way to the ferry to get to the Orcas Island. We stopped here first for a bite to eat. Walk inside and go around to the back and place your order. We ordered sandwiches, drinks and sat down.

Let me tell you for a deli sandwich it was the bomb. Everyone enjoyed what they ate. It was our official first meal of the trip. I also was able to obtain a 4 pack of beer from the San Juan Islands Brewery for $12.99 which is cheap around my parts for a 4 pack micro beer.

I found my future stop before the ferry moving forward in the future.

Grandma and Dad have been all hyped over The Store recently, and it has been a good thing. We did not really know about The Store or what it was, then my grandma, a neighbor, and dad starting bringing some of the baked goods around. Recently, we have been sampling the different muffin flavors and everything I have tried is delicious. My preference, I am finding, is for the berry-flavored offerings. Fortunately, we live over an hour away, so we do not risk over indulgence too frequently. Dad has been stopping when going to visit his mom, my grandma, for a day or two and it is always tasty. Even if we get second pick after he lets his mom get first pick.

Extreamly good bread, fair prices and great hosts! The cookies are delicious as well.

The BEST cookies and muffins in town. Always a good variety and everything tastes incredible. Good selection of wines and coffee too. A great little spot to top off the treats

Great sandwiches and lots of variety! Order ahead best because can be a busy place, especially at lunch time.
