A great local coffee shop in Verona. I come here every time I'm in town visiting my son. Coffee is great and so is the food. There are also really good Gluten free options. My daughter has celiac and she has never reacted to the food (no cross contamination). Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Best coffee shop I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Staff is very friendly. I HIGHLY recommend their oat milk latte with sugar-free chocolate and sugar-free vanilla syrup. 10/10. Once you've tried this coffee shop, you forget there are others in town.

Nice atmosphere but slow service. We ordered two smoothies and a salad. We were almost done with the smoothies by the time the salad showed up. Salad was so so. Smoothies were fine.

      Good coffee and good pastries.

We stopped in on our last morning in Verona before we headed out of town. It is a sweet little coffee shop, and obviously well-regarded based on the amount of people populating the outdoor area. There is a parking lot behind the building and street parking also available, and folks put it to use!

I ended up opting for a lavender latte and a frosted/decorated cookie. Both were fabulous and truly hit the spot. The experience, the cost, and the quality of the goods were all lovely and I would be a regular here if I lived in the area. Totally worth a visit.

Holy buckets. This place is amazing and, TBH, I'm really jealous of Veronians for having it. First of all, the staff were outstanding - patient, attentive and fun to interact with. The food was terrific - although I had a hard time choosing.

I had the Madison Melt - ham and cheese with a lovely bread and butter pickle and maybe mustard? on a delicious baguette, with a pear/peach/aprico lt smoothie. Serious yum. Companions had similar sandwiches and salad - there was nothing in the baskets at the end. One got some kind of coffee (I think?) drink with pistachio and rose - it smelled divine.

In the winter, seating space is limited, but it looks as though they have a large outdoor seating area when it's warmer. The cool thing was that we were the only table that didn't have some kind of fiber in our hands - folks were knitting, spinning and just generally giving off a cool, creative vibe.

The yarn part of the store in back is packed with gorgeous yarns and all kinds of knitting/crochet etc. supplies. It was really hard to resist - next time I might not try so hard!

Definitely a place we'll return to. Loved it.

Prices seems a touch high and service is fairly slow. The quality is good, but just be prepared to hang out longer than anticipated.

I love The Sows Ear and have been going to it for years got it's yarn and a cup of tea. the lad two teas I've had have been dreadful to the pint of being in drinkable.. I order to go so always in the car and away from the store when I discover how awful the tea is. what happened! I used to love to sit and sip a cuppa ( Rating for tea, not store)

I met with a family member for a quick bite on 1/09/23 around 11:30am.
Tea was great. Family members food not so great. I asked when ordering if they had cream cheese anything? The rude woman said no unless you order a bagel. So I walked to the glass case and pointed to the cream cheese Danish. I very loudly said I would take the Cream Cheese Danish. All downhill after that. Family member had difficulty with same employee. Beyond rude.

Super cute place! The prices are kind of high for simple coffee and espresso drinks but in my opinion the atmosphere and quality make up for it. I see myself visiting more often. I love that it doubles as a yarn shop and the outdoor seating is very nice and relaxed.
