I think you are missing the whole INCONVENIENCE part of this. No one wants to go through all of this and have to ask the office for concessions! Why not just automatically apply it. You obviously see us in the office ALOT and know me and my roommates bu name. You all make it seem like this place is just a joy to stay. Its NOT. All of us, including my gf and other people in the neighborhood we know are not even renewing. These apartments need to be knocked down and tried over. We were even suppose to have updated flooring, according to your old manager (the one that received a better position elsewhere) yeah so why are we even paying for this "updated unit"
Ps. We seen a unit with the new floors, so I dont want to hear the excuses. Im just iver it and you all sit here with this LONG response full of it. Its a unorganized mess.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you so much for your feedback. We understand your frustrations and expressed this when you stopped by the office and reported your maintenance work orders. Our Area Maintenance Supervisor was notified immediately and arrived at the office within minutes of our call. We explained that he would go to your unit and work on the work orders that had just been entered. Your roommate's carpet was replaced due to one of the storms that had come through in December when Tallahassee had record rain fall. The ground was already saturated with water which did cause flooding in areas. I do apologize that there was a leak in the bathroom in the unit above that caused your bathroom ceiling to collapse. We have addressed this situation with your upstairs neighbor as well. In reference to your smart amenities, the Kevo had been on backorder and as soon as they arrived, we did install one in your unit. We have replaced the missing stove knob, based on your review. Although it has been a while since you moved in, you may not have remembered that we did place a resident inconvenience credit on your account during your move-in month. As we stated during out meeting, we will continue to update you on your work orders. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Between me and my roomates we have had over 8 problems in 1/2 the lease. I wish mgy photos would post so I did not have to explain this filth. We went from having to get room carpets removed due to mold, to our bathrom celing caving in from a leak. They have yet to give us all of the knobs for our stove and when I first moved in I was supose to have smart home, and they did not have it installed untill weeks later. The place was filthy and they did not clean prior to us moving in. We bought a carpet cleaner for the rooms and on move in day we cleaned the carpets and the wayer was jet BLACK and the rooms reaked of urine. We had a leak in out laundry room and now we have a leak from the walls by our front door. Management is rude and do not try and compensate you for the troubles. I reall wish I could break my lease. My experience here has been interesting everyone i've met that works here have been amazing along with the people who live here it was a great choice moving here

The apartment has so many cosmetic issues and lamps or lights need to be brought just to see in the bedrooms rent at your own risk

It's not horrible, but it's definitely not worth how expensive the rent is (and that doesn't even cover laundry, utilities, or internet). There's no form of security whatsoever: it's not gated, and I've never once seen a cop or security guard patrolling the complex. I've had multiple instances of homeless people approach me while walking to my car, plus it would be nice to have someone to control how loud it can get. There have been plenty of nights where I've gotten little to no sleep because of someone throwing a massive party on a weeknight until 4am. And don't bother paying extra for a "renovated" unit... if this was actually renovated, it must have been at least 10 years ago.

If I could give zero stars I would. This establishment is horribly managed. If you can even get ahold of Renee the manager she is rude & condescending. The apartments are disgusting. Holes in walls, kitchen and bathroom cabinets are water damaged and warped. The place smells of mold. Washing/dryer is rusted and only works half the time. This place needs to be torn down. There is no way in hell we would ever renew here. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT LIVE HERE!

I love the floor plan of this complex. I highly recommend taking a tour with Victoria, she's really nice and gave me refreshments. she is very relatable and outgoing. property as well kept and lively!

The social is a great laid back community. The staff always helps when needed and property is pretty well maintained. The bark park is a great addition and makes them stand out from other neighborhoods around .

Wow, if I could give this place less than 1 star I would. It is filthy and very unkept. On a recent tour saw many bugs and mold. I would be very concerned about safety here. Having toured several places in Tallahassee, I can honestly say this is one of the worst.

one of the worst experiences ive had with roomate style apartment. i have a horrible roommate and they dont care. i would take my money somewhere else if you want peace of mind.

I've been a resident for a long time, and will be moving out this summer. I've seen The Social transition through a number of parent companies and managers. Each time a dip as things adjusted and then a rise in quality and interactions within the complex.
The new staff is charming and always willing to help. Things are still transitioning but I'm very hopeful and optimistic that new residents that move in after I do will have a great experience and form incredible memories as I have done in my time here.
Just remember that communication, clarity, and understanding goes along way with any issues. After all, The Social cares and gives priority to the most immediate issues. Which I appreciated in my time here.
It is close to campus, but pulled back from the main road. The shops and restaurants in the area are always improving and growing.
