The Simple Greek

I had a super rough day and was hankering for something quick, yummy, and healthy. Decided to stop in and grab a quick bowl to go and I was utterly impressed not just with the service, but the quality and portions as well! The ladies behind the counter were super sweet and very welcoming throughout the entire experience.

I can't wait to come back and try a new bowl combination to go! They take Apple Pay as well- always a plus!

Much like Chipotle, you create your own meal here. You can either build a pita or a bowl - I went with the bowl. They have a good number of options for proteins and toppings. The food is just okay, however. The flavors were bland and some of it didn't seem as fresh as it could've been.

For my protein, I had falafel, which was okay but not great. I liked the toppings I chose, but again flavor was lacking and it just wasn't my favorite meal. We also shared the Greek fries, which actually did have good seasoning, but were a bit soggy.

It's a clean place and if you're looking for fast casual that allows lots of customization and isn't Chipotle, this could be the place for you. I don't plan on going back because the food was just nothing to write home about.

Build your own bowl/gyro. They also have sides and desserts. The atmosphere is clean and friendly. Great for a quick meal and/or take-out.
Highlights:
The garlic cream sauce was tasty and had good texture.
The Greek dressing went well with salad.
When in doubt, go with the gyro chicken. It has great flavor and goes well with everything.
Baklava and baklava cheesecake were a great way to finish off the meal.

Things to avoid:
The hummus was not good. It tasted like beans and water with no other flavoring and had a granular texture.
If you have a picky eater this might not be the best option.

The Simple Greek is far from simple as the food is absolutely delicious. I was admittingly at first confused, but after going through the line, I realized that the set up and spread is almost like that of Subways; however, the food is quite amazing with the herbs and spices and wheat pita goodness.

The chicken was dry, the lettuce was soaking wet, and no employees were wearing masks. I was a very disappointed traveler

This place is fuego. I went here probably every day while I was in Wichita Falls, Texas. I honestly wish it was available everywhere.

Amazing food... friendly customer service!!!! It's a definite hot spot, a regular place me and my fiancé go!!

Think of this as the chipotle of Greek/Mediterranean food. Experienced a similar concept with different names and locations, so this cuisine is gaining traction.

What I liked: you pick your base, protein then toppings with no limits on the toppings. I got salad, falafel and most every topping.

What I thought was a tad off: the falafel, it had some fillers I've never seen as in whole kernel corn and whole black beans. Not customary to the dish but everyone can put their own spin I guess.

I'll be back, it's a healthy alternative to fast food.

As my husband and I walked in, the employees were quick to greet us. They answered all of our questions,(and some we didn't know we had,) and we're very friendly and accommodating. They will let you try a sample of something if you are on the fence about it, saving you from getting something you aren't thrilled with.
They told us they make everything in house, and they have the feta shipped directly from Greece. It wasn't as bitter as other feta I've eaten. The tzatziki is also amazing.
One thing other people might find useful is they told us the feta here is safe for pregnant women to eat.
We will definitely be back!

Stopped here on a road trip and got the lentil bowl. I'm vegan and it was chock full of protein and veggies and yummy olives! Super fresh, made exactly how I asked, and incredibly delicious! I'm so sad there isn't a location near home!
