    • Q:

Do they have outside tv's to watch college football?

      A:

No outside TVs. However, bring a laptop or your phone and you are all set. This place is more of a social gathering and live venue rather than a sports bar. Very few TVs

Just to clarify are dogs allowed?

      A:

No. It is not a dog friendly restaurant. That is literally it's only flaw. Food is great. Atmosphere is great. Workers are great, but no dogs allowed.

We let the birthday boy pick our spot for brunch and this was it! I love the atmosphere. My husband and I agreed that we thought it felt more like we were in Austin with the large outdoor patio and live music. The family style brunch was better than I expected, especially after reading reviews.
Our server had such a great personality, which was very much welcomed after how rude the hostess was. I can only imagine that she was either having an off day or genuinely just hates every human being on the planet. She made an entire ordeal after we didn't like the area in which she tried to seat us. We had a ton of rain the day before and the table was nearly flooded out. I really hope the restaurant sees this and has a chat with her because that attitude could have ruined our experience. I apologize that I have no food p0rn to share since we dove right in. Let me tell you about our meal!
Frittata - I honestly don't ever order it so I don't know if the consistency is usually similar to that of tofu. Regardless, it tasted decent.
Crispy fried chicken - the breading has just the perfect amount of salty and it was everything I want in crispy chicken.
Bacon and sausage - the cheesy jalapeño sausage was good and the bacon was just the right amount of crunchy and soft.
Hash - super cheesy. To quote my friend: The hash is fire!"
Teensy weensy muffins - I could have eaten all of the blueberry ones.
French Toast - y'all, it has orange zest in it and it was amazing. I could have also eaten a ton more of it.
I would definitely return for all of it, except the hostess attitude. She can keep that all to herself.

We booked the Rustic for last Saturday. It was a great time & the service was on point! We reserved a big section for my friend's birthday brunch, the only negative was that we weren't able to be seated together, split between two tables.

The family style brunch was so great, the amount of food for the price was incredible. So many choices! The drinks are a little steep but worth it for the quality of pours! Will go back!

Had a great time here! Fun Dallas atmosphere. My family really enjoyed the cactus fries, which was definitely unique and fun for those from North Carolina! The beer can hen was also a great experience and very tender and moist. The taco platter was flavorful and I would order it again.
The only thing that was disappointing was that the restaurant 86'ed 3 of their cocktails, and the waitress had a difficult time naming similar drinks to replace the ones they were out of. That comes with experience though. Overall, we enjoyed our time here!

So good I ate here twice during my last work trip to Dallas! For lunch I got the Joe Leo tacos and when I came back for dinner I got the Beer Can Chicken! The peanut butter pie was also amazing and was great for sharing with my group. I really enjoyed sitting outside and listening to live music on stage. Even thought we were there until closing time, the staff was attentive and provided great service. I definitely recommend to anyone visiting Dallas.

      1 check-in

Casual and relaxed place with live music, great service, and tasty food!! Saw a lot of big groups and families on a weekend night. Parking is really easy, which is a plus! It was quite loud with the music and somewhat hard to hear conversations, but the music was really good.

Lots of seating options: indoor and outdoor. can also book out large sections for parties and celebrations!

Waiters and bartenders were very welcoming and attentive even though it was packed!

We had a large group (volleyball team and parents) with two large tables (players table and parents table) of 12 outside. It was a perfect venue for our large group...outside during sunset/live band/cornhole. The food was delicious, especially the smoked cheese and chips, brisket tacos and grilled artichokes. The presentation of the beer can chicken was neat, but the chicken was a bit dry. The drinks were creative, tasty and strong!

The only thing I would ask for differently is if the staff could do more than 3 checks for the two tables of 12. I'm sure they get large groups often, and usually when we dine out with any sport teams we would have the child tell the server their jersey number, then the server can pair the jersey number's order to the corresponding parent. So, in our case it would have only been six checks for our entire group. It's a wonderful service to diners in large groups that makes a huge difference in our experiences and keeps us coming back, and recommending it hands down to any other large groups.

Three stars. It's not the most awesome place we have ever been but it's also not the worst place we have ever been.
This place looks just like its name. Very Rustic on the inside. Almost gave me a barn type feel.

Let's start with the service. Our party of seven got waters to start with but our server only brought out five. We had to ask for the other two. I got a drink and it took about 10 minutes to be dropped off at the table. Every time we had a question about the menu, our server would answer said question, but then would leave us and not come back for another 7-10 minutes.

If you are coming on a weekend before three pm, they only offer brunch items and those items are very limited. Saturdays and Sundays brunch is offered from open until 3pm. The brunch menu can be found on the right hand side of the menu pic posted below. Brunch is $17.95 a person but is a pretty nice spread. Spicy fried chicken, eggs had spinach mixed and were more like a quiche. Potatoes were cheesy and shredded. Sliced sausage was good. Had a little bit of spice to it which made it that much better. The bacon could have been cooked a little better. Was just a touch too tough. You get a little fruit assortment and two slices of cheese. French toast with rosemary infused syrup. Very interesting flavor to say the least.

Now, the reason for the three stars. In the brunch column, there is an area for drinks. There is one price listed for ONE drink which gives you the impression that this is the price for ALL drinks in that particular area. That is not the case. The price that is listed, is for that drink and that drink only. This was not explained to us but when we questioned it, our server lied and said it WAS. So when we got our tab, the carafe of mimosa actually cost $13.95 and not the $6.95 that was originally discussed with the server. We were charged for two kids drinks but we only have one daughter. The charge for a kids drink was also not disclosed to us. She didn't even order anything from the kids menu. She's two.

All in all, it's not bad but not the best. Would not recommend for brunch
