I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet!! It was recently rated one of Orange County, NY's best restaurants. I've eaten fish, pasta and pizza here. Pizza is one of my favortie pies around and the building used to be a bank, its very cool iside as well. Staff is friendly and the place is small and cozy.

Small bar and tables. Nice atmosphere. Had the Filet in Peppercorn sauce and mashed potatoes. Good. I would go back.

My boyfriend and I ate here tonight for our anniversary, and I gotta say, it was QUITE good. Yes, the tables are small, but the food is excellent, and Lucie and the waiter that served us were nothing less than courteous. I had a hamburger with avocado and mushrooms (with fries), and my my boyfriend had the spicy chicken thin crust pizza. I had a taste of my boyfriends meal, and both meals were really really good, especially the pizza (which I think I'm going to get next time we eat there). The pizza was also good for two people, so that's tomorrow's lunch right there. After dinner I had the pecan pie, and my boyfriend had the cheese cake, and we both had coffee. The coffee was very tasty, and the desserts were presented beautifully and were SO good.
I've read in other reviews that Lucie (the owner) wasn't attentive to her customers, but I didn't have that experience at all. She was very very nice and even gave us a 10% off coupon for our next visit.
For 2 large meals, 2 sodas (with a refill), water, coffee, and 2 delicious desserts, it came out to only 50 bucks, which is honestly a lot less than what I was expecting. The atmosphere was lovely as well, and I'm definitely looking forward to going back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lance S.New Windsor, NY23Oct 24, 2011
I'm curious why other reviews had positive things to say about this restaurant, but only gave it three stars. As for me, I had a $25 certificate from Restaurant.com that was not honored. I wanted to push them, but my wife didn't want a scene, so I let it go. Instead, I vowed to make sure as many people as possible heard about this and I would never patronize that restaurant again. I am sure they will be out of business soon. It's a tough business and you can't treat your customers like that and expect to stay in business. I recommend "The River Grill" on the Newburgh Waterfront; excellent food and service there.

What a cute restaurant! Very cozy and very creative; I love how they've kept a lot of the look of the original bank, from the vault to the old cash register by the doorway (open it up, there's mints inside!). The service is very friendly as well. The food was average, my boyfriend and I each got a pizza and an order of calamari to share as an appetizer. The pizza was good (it had a nice, thin crust) but nothing spectacular. The pizzas and paninis on the menu were between $10-$15, the other entrees were $20 and up. As a vegetarian, I'm pretty sure the only choices (besides a salad or the butternut squash soup) were a portabello, red pepper, and mozzarella panini, a mixed veggie pizza, or the popeye pizza (ricotta, garlic, and spinach). Very comfy atmosphere between the feel of being in a bank and the great service :-) Be aware that they're closed mondays and tuesdays!

Very disappointed after two visits. First one was the 2nd week they opened and we found the food below average, service poor and prices above average. We did not return for 2 years bur recently tried it again and very little had changed. Both entrees were dismal (steak undercooked and fish overcooked), service was still poor and prices were, if anything, higher. There were few patrons in when we last visited (on a Friday night!) and even the bread seemed stale. They appear to be neglecting the basics for a good restaurant
